[5.0] "A pretty wasted 2 hours to be honest. I have three matches at 6, one at 7 and one at 3, that itself shows how "nothing" this show unfortunately was. Now, it's still watchable, don't get me wrong, a 6/10 is a good match, it's just not anything you'll remember. So, on limited time, I'd skip this one. I think EVIL winning in a typical bs match in the main event is dragging the show down, but everyone knew when they put this as the main event. ZSJ gets a decent match out of Jake Lee, Newman and Shingo was enjoyable, SANADA is boring as always and Umino and GOK were fine."

[7.0] "Nothing standout on this show but Newman v Shingo and Sabre v Lee are both worth time. Your mileage may vary on Evil v Naito but I thought it was fun and I am normally low on House of Torture shenanigans, Umino v O-Khan was good. Kidd v SANADA was nothing special but not a bad match."

[3.0] "HENARE & Konosuke Takeshita vs Katsuya Murashima & Shoma Kato: This was a fine opening match, the main point of this was the tension between HENARE and Takeshita [**]. Boltin Oleg & Toru Yano vs El Phantasmo & Jado: This was not that good in my opinion, there was bit too much Jado in ring, there was not bad preview of ELP vs Oleg, the ending with Yano low blowing Jado was the wrong decision [*1/4]. Francesco Akira & Jeff Cobb vs TAKA Michinoku & Yuya Uemura: A decent ish preview between Cobb and Uemura, the action was lacking though at times, given the limited time they had [*1/2]. Ren Narita & Yoshinobu Kanemaru vs David Finlay & Gedo: Did not enjoy this one to be honest, the brawling was typical of HoT and BC War Dogs, not good at all [DUD]. BUSHI & Yota Tsuji vs Hirooki Goto & Tomoaki Honma: A fine preview tag match ahead of Tsuji vs Goto, Honma and BUSHI had a fine showing [**]. Callum Newman vs Shingo Takagi: A well worked match, that had a decent level of action, Newman getting the win was surprising but in a good way though, just wish they had longer timewise [***1/2]. SANADA vs Gabe Kidd: The start was bad, but did raise it to almost passable towards the end, not of usual SANADA standards to be fair [**1/4]. Shota Umino vs Great O-Khan: This was not as good as it could have been, the action was not all solid, there were some off moments, GOK losing did not surprise me as he is yet to win a match in G1 Climax 34, Umino picking up the win was good to see [*3/4]. Zack Sabre Jr vs Jake Lee: MOTN in my opinio, ZSJ and Lee matched each other quite well and it showed in this decently solid match, enjoyed it more than I thought I would [***3/4]. EVIL vs Tetsuya Naito: This match was terrible, the ref bumps, interferences while not surprising was not needed and should not have happened, EVIL getting the win was not surprising, wish Naito would have won [DUD]"

[6.0] "The weakest night of the tournament so far. Newman vs Shingo was quite good, the following three matches weren't too bad, but nothing special, the main event was mostly nonsense."

Spirited performances from Shingo and O Kahn, the latter has been surprisingly great in this tournament. Jake Lee proved to be utterly worthless and had one of the worst ZSJ matches in memory. I think we counted a total of 2 moves from Jake that didnt involve a knee strike or forearm. He does nothing and has a pantomime villain laugh which belongs in another wrestling promotion. Main event was a house of torture match. Thats all you need to know, though did feature satisfactory Destinos."
