[9.0] "Very good event.Nice to see Henare back and him against Takagi will be really good. The last two matches of the night was excellent and especially the main event.I didn't expect the elimination of Takahashi from the tournament and i think it was big surprise."

[6.0] "Another decent card that ends up being one of the better shows from Best of the Super Juniors but unfortunately falls flat in some departments. Despite the last 2 great matches, the card is mostly inconsistent and not well booked. The first half is very mediocre and doesn't deserve much attention but the second half picks up nicely but can't hold the show together to make it anything amazing! 6.5/10"

[6.0] "A normal BOSJ show with a good sami-main-event and an incredible main one who absolutely didn't disappoint my expectations. Other stuff was House show style wrestling that doesn't really represented anything worth watching actually at all since you could easily emagine it. **3/4"

[7.0] "Three very good BOTSJ matches and a genuinely shocking ending that blew my bracket open. Nothing groundbreaking but I enjoyed these matches. Moloney/Mack was disappointing but at least it was kept short."

[6.0] "EVIL, SHO & Yujiro Takahashi vs Katsuya Murashima, Shoma Kato & Shota Umino: Not a good match, did not pique my interest at all [DUD]. Blake Christian, Boltin Oleg & HAYATA vs El Desperado, Kevin Knight & Tomoaki Honma: Decent multi man match, Oleg continues to impress despite not wrestling for long, solid action [**3/4]. Kosei Fujita & Zack Sabre Jr vs Clark Connors & Gedo: A great victory for Fujita for TMDK by submitting Gedo, ZSJ had Connors in a submission on the ropes which was interesting [***]. Callum Newman, HENARE & TJP vs BUSHI, Shingo Takagi & Titan: My favourite match of the undercard, interesting and hard hitting preview of HENARE vs Shingo Takagi, the others had a good performance [***3/4]. Dragon Dia vs KUSHIDA: An okay match, Dragon Dia getting the win was surprising to see [**1/4]. Drilla Moloney vs Ninja Mack: Not a good match, Moloney started the match by trying to forfeit by count out, which Mack tried to stop to keep integrity of the BOSJ tournament, there wasnt much action and the count out result for Moloney was bad [*]. DOUKI vs Robbie Eagles: Pretty good match especially from DOUKI, one of the better matches Ive seen this tournament, Eagles tried to overcome the offense of DOUKI but failed to, surprise that DOUKI won [****]. Taiji Ishimori vs Hiromu Takahashi: Another good match from these two, they fought in the crowd and nearly got double counted out, the action was physical and Ishimori got the win, better than their BOSJ match last year when it ended due to injury, glad they got to finish the match this time [****1/2]"

[6.0] "Decent show. The drama in the last 2 matches was palpable, on top of being great matches as is. The rest was all somewhat decent, even the undercard tags which is a shock."

[6.0] "Rating this based on the BoSJ matches and this was a good show overall, but kinda underwhelming to me personally. I'm not really super excited for Ishimori to advance to the finals, but DOUKI advancing was a nice surprise. The only not very good match was the Drilla match, which was more of an extended promo than anything, but nothing else stood out enough for me to rate this show any higher. The main event was good too I guess, but I just couldn't get myself into it for whatever reason. [MOTN: DOUKI vs. Robbie Eagles]"

[9.0] "A good show with a variety of matches that differ in type and quality. The final four BOSJ matches were all fine to fantastic. The main event was great and both Hiromu Takahashi and Taiji Ishimori went out of their way to have an unsurprising banger that made up for Ishimoris injury last year. I believe everyone was convinced who would win and eventually advance to the main event of Dominion. I was one of those people and the fact Hiromu lost and DOUKI advanced blew my mind. I just didnt think NJPW would risk it. Theyve been taking various risks lately with their booking but Hiromu vs Desperado felt like a lock since they announced the final will main event their second biggest show of the year. Im am here for it! I am praying this is Desperados year but I really just dont know who it will be that wins this tournament. Also, its great to have HENARE back. Outside of wrestling, Im not a fan of his but hes improved so much inside the ring and has stuck with NJPW for years. Shingo vs HENARE will be great. It definitely feels like New Japan has been looking to reward those that are loyal. Also, Shota doing the CEO dance was funny. Hes got a wholesale and lame charm to him that reminds me a bit of Okadas geek side."
