[5.0] "When I knew about this show I was quite hyped because it felt like this would be an upgrade for what I mostly saw in Spanish wrestling up to this moment, with so many international indie wrestlers being part of a tournament, some of them recently part of NXT UK (Nina Samuels and Amale), AEW (Alexia Nicole) or MLW (B3CCA). Well, what I found here was truly disappointing. A mostly lame show that, without featuring bad matches, never looked like they cared to bring the best out of every match. I don't expect that a one night tournament is full of 20 minutes bangers or something like that, but I was expecting better looking performances and a more worked booking. No match here was truly memorable in any way, just plain ok because there was nothing actually wrong in the performances, but besides Nina Samuels actually trying to add some psychology into her matches, no match was attractive, neither were the Championship matches, one that was a spotfest where the Champions took all the spotlight and the other a wasted opportunity of having a great match due to the lack of charisma and character work of the wrestlers. The fact this was supposed to be a World Cup and there was no trophy awarded to the winner was really lame. It surprises me how this company is able to bring so many international talent of quite a name like Unagi Sayaka while being so cheap looking, not just on the production of the show, but in the content they put. At least the right woman won the tournament, and the second best option was the runner-up, although I'd have prefered to see Nina vs Sara being the finals as they were the best wrestlers in the tournament."
