[6.0] "Apart from the main event and the opener, not much to this show apart from some solid storylines moving forward. Be interesting to see what happens when Andre Chase returns and Perez vs Davenport has potential"
[8.0] "ich habe Roxanne zuerst nicht wirklich erkannt und dachte in das Co Main Event das ist ne andere Wrestlerin. Zu drei Guide-Einträge jeweils dort mehr. WWE NXT #685, 8 starke Punkte."
[7.0] "Mistakes were recognized and the solution was better from last week by NXT. The action felt even better & focused on the stories such as Thea's over-the-top intensity & Roxanne's shift in demeanor for now. The main event picture looks great too with Melo/Corbin, Seth & Bron attached with the slow brewing Bron/Ilja enmity and the North American title scene. Even the tag teams are crowded with pretty good teams vying for a shot & now that Los Lotharios are back in NXT, things got even better. Every storyline irrespective of the hierarchy of priority has groomed very well here ahead of the special event, Gold Rush. So, kudos to Team NXT once again!"
[7.0] "This show was really good we had very few bad matches and some returns that were exciting. The opening 6 man between Tyler Ali and Wes vs Schism was hard hitting , Gacy and Rip impressed me while Jagger is still finding his footing in the ring . Thea vs Cora was a bad match it was sloppy throughout their were very few good spots, but Thea won by submission due to the training by Gulak and Dempsey. Oro vs Frazer was a a solid fast paced match , the interference tainted it though . Lash is not good however Jakara is though , it seems like there will be a match between Valentina and Yulisa vs Lash and Jakara which should be alright . Axiom and Scrypts vs Dabba was not good yes there were several athletic showcases but Dabba is supposed to be built like a monster meanwhile he's losing very easily to two smaller guys , the match should have been longer . Malik vs Edris was fine some good spots the triple threat between Malik and Edris vs Brooks and Jensen vs Hank and Tank should be good . Roxanne vs Tatum was not good there were some ok spots but the finish was heavily botched and there was some sloppy moments . Corbin vs Dragunov was alright some hard hitting strikes but Bron interference was not good . Corbin also was missing his attire or something because that was not good gear he looked like he had boxers . The best promo was Rollins and Breakker which should be a banger next week."
[8.0] "Very good episode of NXT yesterday, very excited for the next two weeks of NXt with the NXT: Gold Rush happening and all the belts being defended I'm very excited to see Seth "Freakin" Rollins (c) vs Bron Breakker for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Nathan Frazer winning his first championship in WWE was great to see yesterday it has been long overdue and very excited to see his reign as the NXT Heritage Cup. Thea Hail is gaining momentum, Baron Corbin facing off against Carmelo Hayes at NXT: Gold Rush (Week 2) for the NXT Championship which I'm very excited about. Overall very solid show can't wait for next week."
[8.0] "Great show this week. Favorite match was the Heritage Cup match. Frazer winning his first championship was a plus without having Noam Dar lose the belt."
[5.0] "Opener was a typical Schism match, fine, but uninteresting. Orange Breakker came to the ring and cut a good promo, Dragunov attempted to get to him but was restrained by a handful of geeks. Rollins then came on the tron and immediately did the repulsive 'laugh' before accepting Breakker's challenge and 'laughing' again, I was seething, but am looking forward to seeing Breakker spear him in half next week. Backstage, McKenzie was interviewing Dana Brooke but was interrupted by Cora who bad mouthed Brooke, then slapped her across the chops, which was enjoyable. Cora vs Hail was okay, but there was an awful botch from Hail and a couple of other sticky moments. Heel Hail stole the win after Brooke interference. I favoured scrolling my phone over the next match as the heritage cup rules suck, but I'm guessing Dar is legit injured as there was no swerve to Mensah losing the cup on his behalf, personally I'd have preferred them to just shelve it. Another entertaining Wagner and Stone segment aired that included an interaction with Dijak, potentially setting up a feud that could have value. Uber talented and charismatic Axiom continues to be a worthless geek who can now only gain victory over lumbering Kato with the help of Scrypts in a handicap match in which the 'valiant' babyfaces gang up on the 'diabolical' lone heel...abysmal. After the match, Garza & Carrillo jumped them. Perusing a self made evidence board, Stacks considered who the rat could be and did so while wearing the Don's hat, foreshadowing his true intent. Enofe & Blade had a short match with a couple of nice dives. Following that, some tag teams brawled as Garza & Carrillo tried to cut a promo on the balcony, but they were mumbling so I couldn't hear them. Backstage, Factually accurate Kemp was telling the useless refs some home truths until Thorpe interjected and offered Kemp a match of his choosing, Kemp walked away contemplating as Thorpe made a strange face. Tatum vs Perez was short, featured weak offense by Perez and a botched finish followed by a terrible post match promo from Perez threatening Davenport. Tatum jobbing in 2 minutes is not good and it looks like her 'alliance' with Davenport is going nowhere. Dragunov vs Corbin was fine. Post match, Corbin was jumped and laid out by Hayes to end the show. Promos, vignettes and skits are really carrying NXT recently, because once again, the in-ring product isn't great. Never would I have believed the likes of Cora Jade, Breakker and Wagner would become highlights of NXT, while someone who once had as much potential as Bate would become such a chore to watch, but that's the reality for me right now."
[8.0] "Logical show advancing many story lines and setting up gold rush. A couple pretty good bell to bell matches. Not much else you can ask for from a tv wrestling show."
[8.0] "A pretty enjoyable show thanks in part to 3 enjoyable matches in the opener, Oro/Frazier, and Corbin/Ilja. Some strong focus into the upcoming Gold Rush doubleshot with some strong matches on paper to look forward to on it. 7.5+"
