[10.0] "Phenomenal show. Three 9/10 (Mistico match and the two Mask vs. Mask) with the women being the MOTN. Amazing stuff, one of the greatest CMLL shows ever."

[7.0] "The top two matches were very good with Reyna Isis vs La Jarochita being the MOTN. The rest of the card was largely decent. The CMLL production style is as bad as ever though."

[6.0] "There was nothing close to great on this show, but almost every single match was alright or quite good, and lucha is usually always fun despite how mindless it can be, so this was ultimately quite a good show. Atrapasuenos vs La Fuerza Poblana was a fun spotfest. Overly choreographed and mindless (warning: I'll use those terms *a lot* here), but still with impressive technique. I wish they did more power-move stuff, since that was always really good. ***1/4. Casas, Star & Titan vs Infernales was pretty good and easily my MOTN. Some VERY flashy, creative, and smooth stunts all around. Still overly cooperative, but still really fun and impressive. Bonus points too for an actual, tangible STORY of veteran Casas being very sympathetic against his larger, stronger, and younger heel opponents. ***1/4 - ***1/2. Mistico vs Volador vs Oro was yet another spotfest with mmany moments of jarringly obvious cooperation but definitely still quite a few impressive stunts too, enough for me to still find the match quite good overall. ***1/4. The Battle Royal was very short and featured very low effort, only occurring to progress the Cuadrangular tournament. NR. The 1st Cuadrangular semi-final was really nothing, featuring mindless brawling, lame lucha exchanges, boring posturing, and super random and underwhelming eliminations. *3/4. The 2nd Cuadrangular semi-final was much better, since this time it had younger and/or more physically capable wrestlers, allowing for far more creative and exciting exchanges/spots, even if that brought with it a lot of typically obvious cooperation and yet more underwhelming eliminations. Pretty mindless but still alright. ***. The Cuadrangular final, like the Battle Royale, was far too short to rate, since it was more just an angle to progress us to the show's main-event mask-vs-mask match. I will say that I thought the reaction for Atlantis Jr.s' comeback at the end, while not physically convincing, ended up still being exciting just because of the crowd's awesome reaction to it. NR. Jarochita vs Isis was quite good but definitely annoying with its try-hard 'epic' attempts. They had some pretty cool stunts despite their overly cooperative interactions, and they played their respective face/heel roles well. Their big-move trades, submission attempts, and near falls eventually became quite good, but I didn't like how overkill it eventually became, plus how Jarochita totally no-sold Isis' offence for a completely forced superwoman comeback. ***1/4. Atlantis Jr. vs Stuka Jr. was another good match that sadly suffered from trying too hard to be 'epic', once again given the mask-vs-mask stakes. They hit lots of cool aerial stunts and took some pretty impressive bumps at times, but the obviously cooperative nature kept taking me out of it all. Some good intensity in the final 1/3rd, even if it was just big moves and near falls. The post-match with Stuka de-masking was far more impactful than the match itself, tbh. ***1/4."

[9.0] "THUMBS UP. One all timer show of you consider what CMLL has offered over the last decade. 8.5/10 Best match: Jarochita vs. Reyna Isis, but the last 5 minutes of Atlantis Jr. vs. Stuka Jr. were some of the best pro wrestling of the year. Worst match: Copa Independencia final, just didn? t work, the people were never into it, but it wasn? t that much worse than the forst two matches."

[8.0] "An overall really good show, a great pace to it. The worst matches were very short and servicable, and most of the matches were around ***¾ for me. The top match was ****½, and the women's match was a close second best match. (****¼)"

[8.0] "A really fun show. CMLL's 89th anniversary is a great time! Some great matches (La Jerochita and Reyna Isis was my match of the night), great atmosphere! Excited to rewatch some matches. It feels so good that CMLL is a hot promotion right now! Negro Casas is a delight. Atlantis Jr is wrestler to watch out for. Hoping to rewatch some of the show too. A good time."

[8.0] "For anyone wondering where to pick up on modern CMLL, or 2020s CMLL if you're from the distant future - start here. Or the men's Grand Prix. This show in particular was great. The women's mask vs mask match was so good that the crowd chanted ESO ES LUCHA (this is wrestling in spanish) - it's likely the best women's lucha match in a long time, and very notable considering that Reyna Isis used to be really bad earlier in her career. Really, the only downsides to this show are small - the booing seemed to get into Mistico's head and that triple threat match was a bit weaker than expected. There were a few botches but nothing that derailed matches. Atlantis and Fuerza Guerrera went for a really short time, but they can't do much of anything these days. Hopefully the TV edit that is uploaded to youtube includes the last two matches."
