[9.0] "Drew Vs Goldberg and Banks Vs Carmella were both very weak, and the show feels weird with no real fans, but both men's and women's rumble matches and Reigns Vs Owens last man standing were all amazing. Overall WWE Royal Rumble (2021) is a really great show."

[6.0] "When you've got 2 Royal Rumble matches on one show, you have to do more to differentiate them from one another, especially when by contrast, one makes the other look especially poor. The women's Rumble, showing off a roster of diverse and interesting talent whose personas were clear the moment they stepped in the ring, was superior to the men's in everyway, where the roster felt tired and in desperate need of renewal. This was only driven home by the respective winners of the two matches- on the one hand you had the super-babyface, young, dynamic, Bianca Belair, still very much during this show, with the highlights of her career ahead of her, and on the other, a recycled relic from a gone-by age with little left to offer (an opinion that apparently even WWE reached prior to WrestleMania when it added Daniel Bryan to the main event of that year's 'Mania). Underneath, McIntyre's sub-5 minute victory over Goldberg was fine- though it's hard to imagine who among WWE's audience in 2021 was really tuning in to scene 'Da Man', especially given his own inability to work a match longer than a few minutes, meanwhile, Sasha Banks and Carmella were rather overshadowed by Reginald and his presence at ringside. Thankfully, Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens provided plenty to like in one of the better Last Man Standing matches you're likely to see- complete with mini tour of the backstage areas. This was an adequate show, where some stellar work from the combatants in the Title match, and a demonstration of the richness of the women's division at the time, struggle to cover up the mediocrity served up by the men's roster during their rumble."

[9.0] "Despite not having a live crowd and I do wish if this show did have a crowd. They really managed to deliver a fantastic show. The opener with Drew and Goldberg was fun to watch, carmella vs Sasha was really solid. The two rumble matches delivered. A fresh face like Bianca winning was great and edge winning a second rumble match was really cool. The last man standing between Roman and Kevin Owens was great despite the handcuff botch."

[8.0] "Drew McIntyre vs. Goldberg sucked, as almost everyone knew it would, but I really dug both Royal Rumbles, both for Edge's historic win and for the fact that this really showed what future superstars Biance Belair and Rhea Ripley could do. I also thought the Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens match was really good, despite the mishap with the handcuffs..."

[9.0] "When executed well, Royal Rumble is the best show of the year and 2021 edition came close. Drew vs Goldberg was perfect, a dominant win for Drew. Sasha Banks gave Carmella her best WWE match to date. Women's Royal Rumble established Rhea and Bianca as the next two female stars of the company. Roman vs KO was a match of the year contender if not for the botched finish. Mens Roya; Rumble was well built around one of the best feuds of 2020, with Edge and Orton both going full distance"

[5.0] "A decent show that has its pros and cons, but I think it remains as one more ppv, one that will be forgotten. The PPV had its good matches like the Roman / Owens or the women's Rumble, but other than that most things are very forgettable, leaving the winner of the men's Rumble, Edge."

[7.0] "Gar nicht so einfach zu bewerten aber leider WWE die erste Hälfte hat Punkte gekostet da konnten auch insgesamt die beiden letzten Matches nix ändern. Ich gebe, 7 gute Punkte. Fantasy, Opener weg, 2. Match ist der Opener und es wäre besser geworden. WWE Royal Rumble 2021, 7 gute Punkte."

[6.0] "One of the better WWE shows this year, but pretty much entirely on the merit of it being a Rumble. I'll always love a Rumble bc it's such a fun match concept, but sometimes WWE doesn't get it right anyway. This is the first and hopefully only Rumble without a live audience and it shows. Legends like Victoria came out to canned noise, Santana Garrett came out to silence for some reason, the only highlights of either Rumble for me was Bianca winning and Christian returning. As for the rest, Goldberg put in one of his lesser performances, Roman and Kevin Owens put in an admittedly fun match to cap off a feud that should have ended in December. Sasha and Carmella have a decent match that almost ends after a gross botched dive, and all in all I just didn't love this show. It was an easy watch bc it was a Rumble and I could rely on the Rumble tropes to bring me comfort, but that only takes it so far. A 6 is real generous but it made more sense to me than a 5."

[5.0] "Man geht mit der Show, wie zuletzt so häufig im WWE Universum, eher auf Nummer Sicher, denn auf neuen Wegen. Die Abhandlungen sind überwiegend von der Stange, wobei man sich die Limits bei den Nicht-Rumble Matches natürlich schon durch das Booking setzt. Mit Goldberg macht man das, was da rauszuholen ist, und weder hat McIntyre das Ding geholfen, noch Goldberg irgendwie weiter exponiert. Auch mit Carmella ist kein großes Bild zu malen, wenngleich das Engagement heute zu passen scheint. Bleibt noch das positiv überraschende LMS, wo Owens wirklich nochmal alles gibt, um die Fehde vor der Supershow im Frühling angemessen abzuschliessen. Bleiben die beiden Rumbles, die im Ring Standard- statt Feinkost abliefern, dabei aber auch nicht zwingend abstinken. Für Mania sind somit erstmal keine großen Überraschungen zu erwarten und das Main-Event Picture hat sich mit den Resultaten ebenfalls nicht verändert. Eine irgendwie mutlose, aber ansehbare Veranstaltung."

[6.0] "This show sums up the situation of WWE in the last few years, there are very bad and very good things at the same time. Goldberg vs Drew McIntyre was bad of course but it was short enough to watch, and the result was good. Sasha Banks vs Carmella was like their previous encounter, nothing great but an enjoyable match that was correct, yet carried by Banks. The women's Rumble was equally good (the final three, the whole Ripley match, Alexa eliminated in a minute) than bad (Lana, the divas, the respect for the girls of NXT) but overall it was fine. Kevin Owens vs Roman Reigns was MOTN but was not as good as their two previous encounter. The men's rumble was just boring, at least they didn't do any shitty decision like having Goldberg come as #30, Edge winning was not the best choice imo but it could've been worse. Overall one of the weakest recent shows."

[7.0] "Eine Show, die so ziemlich das geliefert hat, was man vorher erwarten konnte. McIntyre-Goldberg war das Match, das wir von Goldberg jetzt eigentlich immer gesehen haben. Signatures, Finisher, Pinfall. Viel mehr kann man mit Goldberg wohl zwar nicht machen, aber es verliert langsam seinen Charme. Das Frauen-Rumble-Match finde ich an manchen Stellen wie letztes Jahr schon sehr durchwachsen. Dieses hier war besser als das letztes Jahr, aber ich finde einige der Spots, wenn neue Teilnehmerinnen hinzu kommen und sich alle aufreihen, um einen Move einzustecken, sehr hölzern dargeboten. Owens-Reigns ist ein weiteres gutes Match der beiden. Vor allem bin ich dankbar dafür, dass Reigns Owens wirklich mit einem Move besiegt, denn die letzten Last Man Standing Matches von WWE sind oft auf seltsame Art und Weise geendet, wenn irgendjemand einfach nur physisch daran gehindert wurde, aufzustehen. Auch diese dritte Niederlage hat Owens heute nicht geschadet, finde ich. Er hat eine weitere tolle Performance gezeigt und gemeinsam mit Reigns eine Storyline zu etwas Besonderem gemacht, die sicher nicht für drei große PPV Matches ausgelegt war als sie anfing. Der Rumble der Männer war in der Mitte etwas lang, aber sonst gut. Edge das Vertrauen zu schenken, von Position eins bis zum Ende im Ring zu stehen, nachdem er vorher monatelang verletzt war, ist ein Risiko, aber es geht gut. Christians Comeback und seine Beteiligung am Finish war ebenfalls ein emotionaler Moment, auch wenn ich mir vielleicht gewünscht hätte, dass Christian am Ende mit Edge feiert. Es ist zwar Edges Moment und der Fokus liegt allein auf ihm, aber Christian war so sehr daran beteiligt, dass ein kurzer Moment mit den beiden gemeinsam im Ring OK gewesen wäre. Heute beim Rumble merkt man das Fehlen der Zuschauer dann aber doch einmal wieder auf eine Weise, wie man es lange nicht gemerkt hat. Die Zuschauerreaktionen vom Band können zwar eine gewisse Stimmung in normalen Shows erzeugen, die sich sogar einigermaßen authentisch anfühlt, aber beim Royal Rumble gelingt dies nicht und manche der Momente wirken dadurch sehr seltsam. Das Finish des Männer-Rumbles ist da exemplarisch. Orton greift Edge an und es werden laute Buhrufe gespielt. Doch dann kontert Edge und wirft Orton aus dem Rumble, die Buhrufe verstummen langsam und es folgt ein heiteres Stimmgewirr, so als habe gerade R-Truth oder jemand dergleichen ein Singles Match gewonnen. Hier muss man sich die explosionsartige Reaktion also ausmalen, die es an dieser Stelle mit einem Publikum gegeben hätte. Sie kann aus dem Archiv hier nicht erfolgreich hergestellt werden. Vielleicht eine der interessanteren Erkenntnisse dieser Show: Beim Rumble ist das Publikum noch einmal ungleich wichtiger als bei anderen Shows. Dennoch hat mir die Show alles in allem gefallen. Das Universal Title Match und der Männer-Rumble waren für mich die Highlights. Echte Lowlights gab es bis auf ein paar kurze Momente im Frauen-Rumble nicht."

[9.0] "Great PPV. Drew getting over in quick but effective match was a nice opener, Sasha match was fine was from there it was non-stop chaos and fun."

[7.0] "Between 6 and 7, but I gave seven because of the Universal title match. Royal Rumble matches didn't deliver completely, but didn't fail to do that either."

[6.0] "Fine show. My favourite was the Women's Rumble Match. The final three ( Charlotte, Belair and Ripley) tore the house down. The Last Man standing match was better than most Last Man Standing matches until the botch ending. That ending ruined a lot of the match. The Men's Rumble was average and after Cesaro and Bryan got eliminated, I lost almost all interest. The SmackDown Women's match was solid but unspectacular."

[7.0] "Drew McIntyre darf - Gott sei dank - Goldberg besiegen, man kann nur hoffen, dass man Goldberg nicht mehr aus dem Ruhestand zurückholt, inzwischen kann er nicht mal mehr seine 5-minütigen Auftritte ohne Botch über die Bühne bringen. Carmella und Sasha Banks zeigen ein ordentliches Match, das als Opener vielleicht besser getaugt hätte. Gut wird die Show dann ab dem Women's Rumble; Bayley hält das Match über weite Strecken zusammen und mit Binaca Belair und Rhey Ripley stehen 2 Wrestler im Fokus, die es in absehbarer Zeit in die Main Events der Frauen-Division schaffen werden. Das ist auch bitter nötig, denn auch im 4. Royal Rumble der Frauen hat man nur sehr wenige Siegeskandidatinnen, aus dieser Situation holt man ein gutes Match heraus. Das LMS-Match hat mir sehr gut gefallen, ohne Fans störte es nicht, dass das Match zum Großteil backstage stattfand. Der Botch am Ende lässt es natürlich schlechter aussehen als es insgesamt war, dennoch war ich vom Match angetan. Das Rumble-Match der Männer hat ein starkes Teilnehmerfeld, einen starken roten Faden und wie üblich einige nette Spots zwischendurch, das einzige was sich kritisieren lässt ist die meiner Meinung nach etwas flache Schlussphase, hier hätte ich mir noch mehr Aufbau gewünscht. Insgesamt eine gute Show mit leichten Abzügen aufgrund des Beginns und leichter Kritik an den anderen Matches."

[7.0] "There were a few great matches during this ppv. The women's RR was fun with the right amount of former superstars returning, exciting eliminations, and stand out performances from Rhea Ripely and Bianca Belair. Reigns vs Owens was brutal and had interesting spots, definitely my favourite match they've had so far, minus the Heyman handcuff botch ofc. Drew vs Goldberg was a nothing match, not unexpected but at least Drew came away with the victory. Everything else was fine to watch, with Edge winning the men's RR being a feel good moment to end off the night."

[10.0] "Death, taxes and WWE giving us fantastic RR PPV's. Besides the Banks vs Carmella match falling short from their great match at TLC, I thought this PPV was perfect. Goldberg put over Drew and made him look amazing. Womens Rumble match shed light on a lot of the talented women like Billie Kay and Rhea Ripley while proving that Belair is going to be their next superstar. The Mens Rumble had been built really well, with so many potential winners it made the match entertaining throughout and so many eliminations meaningful, while Edge's win was unexpected, is still so satisfying nonetheless. Botch aside, Reigns vs Owens is an instant classic. If you like people smacking the hell out of each other, violence, and great story-telling look no further than this PPV."

[8.0] "Goldberg vs McIntyre was okay but should have been longer (DUD), Carmella vs Sasha Banks was entertaining and a really good women's division match (**1/2), women's royal rumble match was really good, one of the if not the best women's royal rumble match I'm really glad Bianca Belair won (****), Universal Title Match was really great and entertaining they took each other to the limit (****1/2), Men's Royal Rumble Match was okay it was not as good as the women's but still okay (***1/2)"

[4.0] "This was a really mediocre and boring Royal Rumble. A massive waste of time for me. McIntyre/Goldberg (DUD) - What did you expect? It served it's purpose to give McIntyre a win. It consisted of about 5 moves. Typical Goldberg match. Banks/Carmella (**) - Forgettable match you'd see on a RAW or Smackdown. Women's Rumble (2/10) - Paced terribly. The first 10 and last 10 minutes were the only parts worth watching. Roman/KO (***1/4) - Strong contender for the worst finish to a match i enjoyed ever. It's a spotfest but the spots were fun. Men's Rumble (5/10) - Orton and Edge were the story, and i'm sick of that story. There were some good sections and performances but overall the booking wasn't good. It was paced well enough so i didn't mind watching it at least."

[9.0] "It was a good show, I really enjoyed it, not too long and not too short, both Royal Rumble matches were executed perfectly"

[8.0] "A pretty enjoyable Rumble event overall. Outside the Rumbles themselves, the Reigns-Owens match was the best of the night as a very enjoyable arena-wide brawl marred only by the botched ending with the fumbling to open Reign's handcuffs. If its build was lackluster, McIntyre vs. Goldberg ultimately did exactly what it needed to do and had the best possible outcome. Banks vs. Carmella also happened. As to the Rumbles themselves, both were well-constructed overall and featured some good spots and special appearances (Edge's reaction to Christian's entrance was especially poignant). As to the winners, Belair is a fine choice of winner for the Women's side and is loaded with potential; hopefully this win will be a good boost for her. I do have somewhat mixed feelings for Edge - it's a great comeback story for sure, and a good moment for him, but part of me can't help but see it as another indication of WWE's continued reliance on stars of the past at the expense of current full-time talent who could certainly use the win to either cement themselves as new main-event talent, or relegitimize their claim to the top of the card (I was, for the record, personally pulling for Big E to win, but someone like Daniel Bryan or Shinsuke Nakamura would also have made good comeback stories). Still, if Edge isn't a new face in the main event per say, he hasn't been there in a long time, so whichever program they go with - him vs. Reigns or McIntyre - should be interesting. And we did at least get the "new-star" win with Belair. At any rate, a good Rumble show."

[6.0] "Christian is back! Yes Edge won, but don? t forget that Captain Charisma is back. Belair won the women? s which is really cool aswell but I cannot believe that Christian is actually back!"

[7.0] "War nicht alles gut aber insgesamt bin ich zufrieden mit der Show. Die Umstand der fehlenden Fans hat man zwar gemerkt aber alles in allem relativ gut kompensiert, insofern das denn möglich war. Der Opener war leider noch großer Mist und als Match wirklich schlecht. Goldberg botch? s den Jackhammer und es gibt eigentlich nur Finisher-gespame. Carmella vs. Sasha war okay, beide bemüht und das reicht mir in dem Fall, weil eh nicht mehr drin ist. Womens Royal Rumble endet auf einer sehr positiven Note durch Rhea Ripley und Bianca Belair als final two. Match hatte seine Längen und den Mist mit Rick Flair aber bleibt einem wie gesagt in positiver Erinnerung. Owens vs. Reigns ist trotz Botch im Finish das beste Match der beiden in meinen Augen. Klar erzählt und nicht unnötig gezogen. Men? s Royal Rumble wie meistens für mich spaßig, mit Chrisitan und Carlito hatte man gute Überraschungen und wenig Leerlauf, da das Match dieses Mal auch nicht übermäßig lang ist."

[6.0] "It wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. Every match was around 5 or 6 out of 10 and nothing really got me excited about future programmes or the road to Wrestlemania."

[7.0] "Of course they could not beat last years men's Rumble, but both were good. Can random rappers not get involved though? The Roman vs. Owens match was obviously the best of the other matches. I give Roman a lot of stick because as a normal wrestler he is incredibly lacking but in extreme rules, spot-type matches he is quite good and entertaining. The hilarious botch at the finish of that match kind of ruined it to some extent (and I actually saw it coming). It, and particularly that second referee, looked so stupid and it better be addressed and brought into kayfabe on SmackDown this week because it looked so bad. Not really sure why we had another Carmella vs. Sasha match as there was no difference in stipulation from the first and I thought that one was better as well. I like Carmella's new gear though. Goldberg's Jackhammer was OK, certainly better than the Fiend one but maybe dangerous? And finally WWE decided to further devalue their tag belts by having the women's change hand on the kick-off show. Why do kick-off shows even exist when there are no crowds?"

[6.0] "Non-wrestling spots were absolutely horrible. I'm talking about that atrocious segment with Bad Bunny and Booker T. That song gave me cancer... Also, I didn't like the announcers not saying who the hell was eliminated and who was not. I had to figure it out myself or listen to the guys on commentary. That about wrestling? The only worth watching matches: 1)Women's Royal Rumble, 2)Roman Reigns vs Kevin Owens, 3)Men's Royal Rumble."

[9.0] "What is with the onslaught of 0's in the ratings for the matches and the event? Is it trolling or some of you have insanely high standards."

[8.0] "Royal Rumble matches are amazing. This time the Women's rumble was better, Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair stole the show. Men's rumble was very good too. But Goldberg vs. McIntyre and Carmella vs Sasha were not as good as expected."

[6.0] "Das hat Spaß gemacht. Alle Matches hielten mindestens, was sie versprochen haben, viele waren deutlich besser. Allein dass Bianca nach ihrem Sieg völlig authentisch zu Tränen gerührt ist, hat einen positiven Einfluss auf meine Gesamtnote. Bei der von vorn bis hinten künstlich wirkenden Produktion von WWE ist eben das eine gesunde und erstaunlich emotionale Abwechslung. Carmella entgeht bei einem Dive nach draußen nur knapp einer schlimmen Verletzung, hat sich davon abgesehen aber zu einer echt guten, na ja, Darstellerin entwickelt; zumindest für die Ansprüche des Titan-Systems. McIntyre vs. Goldberg ist exakt das gewesen, was es sein musste, der Brawl von Reigns und Owens genauso. Schade, dass das Finish so unfassbar in die Hose ging. Edge geht als Rumble-Sieger nach dieser Leistung dicke klar."

[5.0] "2 Rumble Matches und ein Last Man Standing Match - da muss das Women's Tag Team Titelmacht in die Kick-off Show. Schade. Der (zwar vorhersehbare) Titelwechsel und die Fehde zwischen Charlotte und ihrem Vater bzw. Lacey Evans hätte dem eigentlichen PPV geholfen. Denn der beginnt müde und kommt so richtig nie in Fahrt. Ich fand schon im Vorfeld die Art und Weise, wie Goldberg zu diesem Match gekommen ist, unglaubwürdig. Das Match hat dies nur noch bestätigt. Bitte diesen Mann nicht mehr für ernstgemeinte Titelmatches booken. Der Sieg McIntyre's ist verdient aber langweilig und glanzlos(*1/2). Im Frauen Match wird es nicht besser. Es kommt hier m. E. viel zu gut weg. Carmella verbotcht ihre einzige nennenswerte Aktion komplett und Banks zeigt, dass sie nicht so gut ist, wie sie immer gemacht wird. Beispielsweise ist sie komplett überfordert, wenn sie jemanden durchs Match ziehen muss. Von ihr wenig Aktionen und sie hat auch nach Jahren ein selling Problem. Zieht ihren Finisher durch, nachdem sie unmittelbar zuvor 2 Superkicks in Folge kassiert hat. Aua(*1/2). Der Frauen Rumble ist dann erfrischen und überraschend gut - wenn da nicht der 24/7 Schwachsinn gewesen wäre. So eine Respektlosigkeit den Frauen gegenüber! Dennoch erhält das Match meine Hoffnung auf gutes Frauen-Wrestling bei WWE am Leben(**3/4). Reigns vs. Owens zum x-ten Mal. Diesmal im LMS Match. Dies wird das MOTN. Aber nicht, weil es so stark war, sondern weil der Rest schwächelte. Ganz ordentliches Match, welches durch ein ganz schwaches und abruptes Finish massiv an Wertung verliert. Es wäre besser und gewesen, wenn Reigns mit den Handschellen gefesselt ausgezählt worden wäre. Das wäre ein Top-Finish gewesen. Aber so(***1/2). Bleibt noch der Herren Rumble, den man als solide bezeichnen kann. Kaum neue Storylines - dafür massiv laufende weiter befeuert. Keine originellen Ideen - dafür Christian und Rollins zurück. Ein Sieger, der zwar nicht das Underdog Wesen ist, wie Bianca Belair - jedoch schon in die Welt passt(**1/2). Wer weiß? Bis Wrestlemania kann ja noch einiges passieren......"

[7.0] "Zum Glück hat Drew sich den Opener holen können. Denn bei dem mittlerweile Standard Goldberg Match zählt für mich nur noch das Ergebnis. Brauche den alten Mann auch 0, 0 mehr im Ring. Carmella gg. Banks fand ich untern Strich halbwegs i. O. Nur dass Reggie als eigentlicher Quasi Retter nach dem Flug nach draußen direkt geschmissen wurde, hab ich nicht einordnen können. Das Rumble Match der Damen hat mich dagegen schon positiv überrascht, da sehr viele unterhaltsame Kleinstories er zählt wurden und es zudem noch eine echt spannende Schlussphase zwischen den drei größten Namen und eine emotionale Siegerpromo gegeben hat. Zwei Punkte haben mich hart genervt, aber da war keine Frau für verantwortlich. Zum einen Booker T? s bescheuerter Auftritt vor dem Match mit ? irgendeinem? Rapper und R-Truth Blödeleien mit dem 24/7 Title. Gerade letzteres in den Womensrumble einzubringen, fand ich schon bisschen respektlos, aber das geht auf die Kappe des Booking Teams, Idioten (****). Owens gg. Reigns hatte zwar einige nette Spots und irgendwie auch etwas Spannung am Ende, aber es war übertrieben lang. Hat beiden etwas gebracht, aber für Owens ist der Run im Maineventpicture damit leider erstmal zuende. Reigns geht dafür gestärkt Richtung Mania. Einzig der Abfuck Spot mit den Handschellen hat die Sache etwas getrübt. Vom zweiten Rumble Match war ich nicht ganz so angetan wie vom ersten, aber insgesamt hat es mich auch unterhalten. Man hatte zwar nicht so viele kleine Storyschnipsel wie die Damen, aber mit Edge und Orton einen durch den Anfang aufgebauten Moment für den Schluss und von der In Ring Action her das bessere Feld Hätte zwar gerne Daniel oder AJ als Sieger gesehen, aber mit Edge ging es auch i. O (***3/4). Fand die Show als Ganzes auch recht unterhaltsam, da man keinen Stinker auf der Card und dazu etwas Beiwerk, sowie ein solides WWE Title Match und zwei unterhaltsame Rumble Matches geboten bekam."

[7.0] "Der Opener war zwar erwartungsgemäß das schwächste Match aber es hatte zumindest den richtigen Ausgang und auch die Respektsbekundung am Ende war eine gute Sache, welche McIntyre in seinem Standing stärkte. In ihrem Standing auch durchaus gestärkt wird Carmella durch ihr Match gegen Sasha Banks. Ja es gab den etwas gruseligen Botch beim Suicide Dive und das erste PPV Match der beiden war besser aber das war immer noch dynamische, anständige Action. Mehr als anständig war dann sogar das Rumble Match der Damen und für mich auch das MOTN. Ja es war nicht perfekt: Es gab die unsauberen Punches zum Beispiel zwischen Baszler und Jax, Evans und Flair waren wieder am Ring, ein paar Unsauberkeiten bei Eliminationen ( war die Siegerin schon vorher elimiert? ) und das mit dem 24/7 Title hätte nicht im Match sein müssen ABER dafür gab es auch viele wirklich unterhaltsame Sachen wie Billie Kays Schtick und den doppelten Kofispot aber vor allen Dingen eine wirklich gute gebookte Schlussphase mit starker SIegerin. Die Schlussphase war im Match danach etwas das Problem, alles davor war intensiv und unterhaltsam und insgesamt war es immer noch ein mehr als anständiges Universal Title Match. Das ME war der Männer Rumble und während auf der einen Seite vielleicht weniger Botches als im Frauenmatch passierte, passierte aber halt auch insgesamt nicht ganz so viel. Das glich sich ziemlich aus aber dennoch fand ich den Frauenrumble leicht besser. Den Spot mit Orton gibt es immer wieder aber zumindest führte er nicht zum Sieg. Die Schlussphase war etwas hektisch aber mit einem guten Sieger. Ansonsten gab es hier dann aber etwas größere Überraschungen als bei den Frauen besonders mit Christian und dessen Reunion mit Edge war ein guter Teil der erzählten Geschichte, wie Edge ein Jahr nach seinem Comeback von der 1 den Rumble gewinnt für eine Chance auf den Title, den er nie verlor. Insgesamt war das keine überragende, aber eine konstante, mehr als anständige Show, welche 7 Punkte verdient."

[6.0] "Ein Rumble ohne Zuschauer, da muss man sich erstmal dran gwöhnen, denn der Rumble lebt eigentlich von den Reaktionen der Fans. Der Opener erzeugt bei mir aber keine Reaktion, ich brauche solche Matches, wo blos Finisher gezeigt werden echt nicht mehr - und dass das an Goldberg liegt ist mir bewusst, aber dann soll man es doch lieber ganz lassen, bitte. Die beiden Rumble Matches sind okay, wo ich bei den Frauen Rumble aber leichte Vorteile sehe, weil man vorallem mit der Schlussphase und dem Sieger alles richtig macht. Den Weg mit Edge kann man gehen, aber da verschenkt man dann doch irgendwie Potenzial mit Daniel Bryan oder eventuell Cesaro. Bleibt noch Banks gegen Carmella, was okay ist - man hat es aber schon deutlich besser gesehen. Owens und Reigns machen das bis zum Finish echt unterhaltsam, das Finish stinkt aber dann doch gewaltig. Ingesamt ist die Show völlig im Rahmen und macht mit der momentanen Corona Pandemie das beste aus einen Rumble ohne Fans."

[6.0] "Insgesamt ein okayer PPV, aber nichts, was bei mir Vorfreude auf WrestleMania erzeugt hätte. Die beiden Rumble Matches waren okay. Der Opener den Umständen entsprechend (WWE sollte aufhören auf Goldberg zu setzen, der Effekt ist vollends verpufft). Reigns vs. Owens wusste zu gefallen. Christian war eine schöne Überraschung und Edge als Sieger weckt - bei mir - Nostalgie an frühere Zeiten. Schönes Ende."

[7.0] "A good but not great Royal Rumble show all together. There was some really fun action mixed in here, and the Women's Rumble was one of my favorite Rumbles of the last five years at least, but there were some rough spots as well. The Carmella-Banks and Reigns-Owens matches were, unfortunately, a step down both from the TLC matches they'd had last show, and the Universal Title match in particular had a pretty badly botched ending that took some of the wind out of the sails, though it was still a brutal and entertaining hardcore match. Goldberg-McIntyre was, well, exactly what someone might have expected and nothing more, and all I really felt after it was relief. The Women's Rumble was a high point, with an amazing closing sequence, while the Men's Rumble felt a bit more aimless and murky, probably caused by some hasty reshuffling of the card with Keith Lee and Jey Uso, at least, being MIA. The ending fell flat, though, with Seth not really doing much, Daniel Bryan getting eliminated so abruptly, and the Randy fake out terribly predictable. It's kind of nice to see Edge get that moment, but I just hope the follow up at Mania is worth giving him that kind of accolade when it feels like a younger, full time performer could have used it."

[8.0] "I think this show is the best WWE show in a while. I always love Royal Rumble cards, so I am not surprised, but this was great."

[7.0] "best show I've seen from WWE in a long time, the two rumbles were very good and the LMS match was great until the end. the womens match was filler and Goldberg was as usual over in an instant so boring."

[9.0] "For me it was bettet than any WWE PPV from 2020. Women's RR was faboo also Roman and Kevin performed very well like their were trying to kill each other only Men's RR has got bad ending."

[8.0] "Guter PPV. Der Opener war schlecht. Bevor das Match anfing geraten beide aneinander. Dann gab es wie erwartet das Signature Festival und es ist in knappen drei Minuten zuende. War das Match nötig? Ich fürchte nicht. Die Women waren in Ordnung. Das kann man so stehen lassen. Nicht so stark wie bei TLC. Das Womens Royal Rumble Match war sehr gut. Bianca als Siegerin war die einzige richtige Lösung denn niemand hatte so Momentum wie sie. Jillian und Victoria als Überraschungen waren top gewählt. Victoria überzeugt vom wrestlerischen während Jillian mit Billie etwas den Comedy Part übernahm. Rhea war auch eine wahre Wucht im Match. Owens vs Reigns war in Ordnung. Nur in Ordnung weil der Handschellen Spot oder der Referee Botch das Match nach unten zieht. Warum er nicht weiterzählt weiß auch nur er. Der Caddy Spot wurde schön von AEW kopiert aber sonst gab es wenig zu meckern. Das Royal Rumble Match war gut. Carlito sah besser aus als vor zehn Jahren und das Christian aktiv im Ring mitmacht ist eine krasse Überraschung. Hurricane brauchte ich persönlich nicht und auch die Omos Eliminierungen waren unnötig. Ansonsten überzeugte Priest der einige eliminieren durfte auch Kane. Edge als Sieger ist ziemlich zwiegespalten. Ich freue mich für ihn aber man hatte einige Wrestler die gutes Momentum aufgebaut haben für einen Sieg wie Bryan oder Lashley gar Cesaro. Trotzdem war ich ziemlich zufrieden mit dem PPV trotz das keine Fans dabei waren."

[7.0] "Ziemlich guter PPV, ohne Frage! Der Opener war kurz und schmerzlos. Das Damen Championship Match war leider mäßig... der Damen Rumble: klares Match of the Night, bis auf den 24/7 Mist optimal gelaufen. Reigns gegen Owens ebenfalls sehr stark. Der Herren Rumble war, nunja, eine mäßige Nummer. War aber noch aufgefallen ist: Wrestler wird mit Gold Kart überfahren und Show Gast Star springt vom Top Rope... ob ich das schonmal gesehen habe? ;-)"

[7.0] "It could have been better in some departments, but everything did its job in varying degrees. The women's rumble was great, while the men's was worse in some ways. Bianca was for sure the right choice, this was a star making performance. I'm really mixed on Edge winning. As a storyline, it's awesome, but I'd much rather have a new star created from here. With that said, Damien Priest and Riddle had quite a lot of time. Goldberg/McIntyre did it's job, the right guy won. Banks/Carmella was okay. Roman/KO was awesome, though the botched ending took a lot out of the match."

[7.0] "McIntyre vs Goldberg was short, but did it's part. Banks vs Carmella was average. While Bianca wasn't a bad choice, this should've been Ripley's star making moment. Reigns vs Owens stretched believability with some of their spots and went on the longer than it should've. I'm personally happy that Edge won the men's rumble. An overall ok show, which had some disappointing moments."

[7.0] "Good ppv without shocking moments but very solid and linear. Edge and Bianca deserve to be the challengers of the Champions at Wrestlemania 37. I appreciated a lot the last man standing match, very brutal. I was afraid of Goldberg, but it was not a bad match. I prefer the ppv of last year, but I enjoyed anyway."

[7.0] "Der Royal Rumble startet Im Jahr 2021 mit Drew McIntyre vs. Bill Goldberg um den WWE Championship und um ehrlich zusein dachte ich in dem Moment das sie direkt das Schlimmste zu Anfang bringen wollen und zwar Goldberg als neuen Champion zu bringen. Zum Glück gewinnt Drew McIntyre dann doch das Match und bleibt WWE Champion, weil ich glaube wirklich niemand, wirklich niemand (! ) Will Goldberg wirklich jemals wieder mit einem World Heavyweight Championship sehen. Sasha Banks vs. Carmella war Inordnung und ein wirklich recht Solides Match. Ich persönlich hatte wirklich damit gerechnet das sich Carmella nach dem Aufbau seit wochen hier den Titel holt (***). Women's Royal Rumble Match wie in jedem Jahr mit sehr vielen Überraschungen und Comeback's nach zum Beispiel Verletzungs Pausen befüllt. Ich hatte 4 Wrestlerinnen auf dem Zettel die es hätten machen können und zwar Bayley, Bianca Belair, Charlotte Flair und Rhea Ripley. Die Zweitgenannte gewinnt dann auch und wird höchstwahrscheinlich auf den WWE Smackdown! Women's Championship Titel von Sasha Banks gehen. Aber zum Match muss ich sagen das es eins der schlechtesten Women's Royal Rumble's war (***1/2). WWE Universal Championship Last Man Standing Match zwischen Kevin Owens und Roman Reigns war das beste Match am diesem PPV. Schöne Spots und eine Sehr intensive Fehde die denke ich mal aber noch nicht das Ende gefunden hat. Auch wenn ich mir wünschen würde das es jetzt mal langsam einen neuen geben würde (****1/4). Royal Rumble Match der Männer, weiß ich nicht genau was Ich dazu sagen soll. Schlecht war es Aufkeinenfall, aber meiner Meinung nach gab es viel zu viele unnötige Plätze im Rumble die man nicht hätte bringen müssen (Was natürlich auch sein kann ist, das es mit der ganzen Corona Sache zutun gehabt hab und sie halt nicht wirklich viele zu Verfügung gehabt haben). Braun Strowman als Number 30 ist absoluter Bullshit und das kann man auch wirklich nur bringen wenn keine Fans in der Halle sind, denn sonst hätte es wieder Buh-Rufe vom aller feinsten geregnet. Ich frage mich warum man dann nicht Strowman mit Rollins getauscht hat, da Rollins aufjedenfall der größere Pick gewesen wäre. Edge als Sieger habe ich um ehrlich zusein wirklich nicht mit gerechnet. Ich glaube nicht das Edge in richtung McIntyre gehen wird da es wenn zu einem Face vs. Face Match kommen würde und dies absolut 0 Sinn macht. Deswegen gehe ich eher mal von Reigns aus, was Ich mir aber auch nicht denken kann wenn man den Gerüchten mehr vertrauen schenkt soll ja Daniel Bryan gegen Reigns bis Mania Fehden. Ich lasse mich einfach mal überraschen und bin gespannt was passieren wird, auch bei RAW kann noch viel passieren. Zum Rumble (***1/4). Insgesamt ein mehr als Solider Royal Rumble PPV."

[9.0] "Great PPV, a lot of surprises and great matches as always, that's why I prefer watching PPV rather than the weekly shows"

[8.0] "Wann hat Goldberg seinen letzten Opener bestritten? Das scheint mir doch gleich mal etwas Neues zu sein. Etwas mehr als 1 Spear, 1 Jackhammer und 1 Claymore gibt es sogar zu sehen, leider nicht so viel mehr, doch in der Kürze der Zeit fühlt man sich doch einigermaßen unterhalten (3/10). Bei dem aktuellen Angebot hervorragender Wrestlerinnen kann ich leider immer noch nicht verstehen, wie man ausgerechnet Carmella in Titelmatches einsetzen kann. Sie botcht so ziemlich alles, was zu botchen ist, umso höher ist hier eine wirklich gute Performance von Sasha Banks zu bewerten (Carmella 0/5, Sasha 4/5 = 4/10). Der Damen-Rumble beginnt sehr holprig, in der Folge sind aber gute Spots gesetzt, die wrestlerische Klasse steigt stetig. Auch sind ein paar interessante Überraschungsteilnehmerinnen dabei und es gibt Naomi- (und Bianca-) Magic. Das 24/7-Intermezzo in den Rumble zu integrieren fand ich eine gute Idee und auch die Umsetzung durchaus unterhaltsam. Zuletzt ist die gesamte Schlussphase in jedem Detail ausgezeichnet gebookt wie auch technisch umgesetzt. Die Siegerin überrascht darüber hinaus, hat es aber völlig verdient (18/20). LMS ist nach allen Regeln der Kunst umgesetzt mit mehreren unerwarteten Wendungen, die leere Halle kann super genutzt werden, dazu gibt es drei fette Stunts von Owens (12/10). Der Herren-Rumble ist endlich mal wieder richtig stark! Wir haben eigentlich permanent einen gut gefüllten Ring, sodass es sich endlich mal wieder nach Battle Royal anfühlt. Die Lesnar-Szenerie vom letzten Jahr hätte dieses Jahr wohl besser funktioniert, da man einen Rumble wohl kaum coronakonformer gestalten kann, aber mich soll es nicht stören. Tatsächlich dürfen viele verschiedene Worker andere eliminieren und bekommen ihren Spot eingeräumt, gegen Ende sind auch zahlreiche potenzielle Favoriten im Ring. Das Orton-Comeback ist von Anfang an absehbar, doch in letzter Sekunde bleibt einem wirklich fast das Herz stehen und man denkt: das werden sie doch jetzt nicht wirklich so booken und wieder mal einen ansonsten starken Rumble am Schluss versauen. Umso erfreulicher ist Edge als Sieger, der damit auch elegant in eine neue Fehde verwickelt werden kann (16/20). Gesamt: 7, 57."

[7.0] "A solid ppv. Both rumbles were good and weird ending aside, the Universal Championship match was cool. The rest of the card were okay."

[7.0] "Es war ein solider Rumble, keine große Enttäuschung, aber auch kein riesiges Highlight, ich kann damit ganz gut leben. Zum Opener weiß ich nicht, was ich noch neues sagen soll. Wie seit Jahren schon überspringt Goldberg das Match und fängt bei der Finish Phase an, verliert dann in 2 Minuten und sollte damit eigentlich als geburied/verjobbt gelten. Trotzdem wird er uns demnächst wieder als riesen Gefahr verkauft, aber immerhin wurde Drew nicht geschadet und er hat gewonnen. Eine Frechheit das als WWE Titlematch zu bringen bleibt es aber. Banks gegen Carmella war nicht gut, traurigerweise waren die beste Momente die, wenn Banks mit Reginald "gewrestlet" hat. Carmella ist einfach langweilig und trägt zum Match wenig bei. Der Women's Rumble dagegen war schon besser. Die erste Hälfte hatte einen ziemlichen Fokus auf Billie Kay und ihre verschiedenen Verbündeten, was ihr dann natürlich zur Verhängnis wurde, nicht so clever gelöst wie erwartet, aber nett. Danach kam eher der erntere Teil, aber spannender wurde es dadurch nicht unbedingt, denn die meisten Favoritinnen waren da schon im Match. Bayley beispielsweise wurde leider uninteressant eliminiert, Ember Moon ebenso, Victoria war immerhin eine gute Überraschung. Die Final Three waren mit Charlotte, Rhea und Bianca sehr gut gewählt und auch wenn ich mir lieber Rhea gewünscht hätte, kann ich mit Bianca gut leben, man baut sie so konstant auf. Rhea sollte nun trotzdem auch gepusht werden, damit der Hype um sie nach der Performance wieder neu entfacht weren kann. Reigns gegen Owens war leider etwas enttäuschend. Es war nicht mehr als das übliche Last Man Standing Match, also ein Rundgang durch den Backstage Bereich und wieder zurück. Ein paar coole Spots gab es und das Finish war auch durchaus kreativ gemacht, mehr aber auch nicht. Der Royal Rumble danach war auf ähnlichem Level wie der der Frauen. Edge und Orton fangen an und beenden das ganze auch wieder zu zweit. Hier hat sich aber der Wert der Teilnehmer stetig gesteigert, zunächst viele Midcarder, wovon vor allem Big E sehr überzeugt hat, dann aber im letzten Drittel viele große Namen nacheinander. Die größte Überraschung war ohne Frage Christian, das war ein wirklich sehr schöner Moment mit Edge und auch Seth Rollins ist hiermit zurück, leider immer noch mit dem Messiah Gimmick. Strowman als 30 war enttäuschend, am Ende eliminieren sich aber alle gegenseitig und Edge wird nochmal vom zurückkehrenden Randy Orton attackiert. Das war leider nicht gut gemacht, denn nach dem RKO scheint es Edge trotzdem ein leichtes zu sein Orton zu eliminieren, da wäre noch viel mehr Spannung drin gewesen. Edge als Sieger ist aber okay, auch wenn ich es für eine Verschwendung halte wieder einen Veteranen gewinnen zu lassen, andere Namen wie Bryan, Styles oder Nakamura wären mir da deutlich lieber gewesen, aber ich kann auch mit Edge leben."

[7.0] "I don't watch WWE regularly but always watch the Rumble and tonight delivered big time. The WWE Title match was underwhelming, personally I don't enjoy Goldberg at all, I'm happy that the match was short and put Drew over, was afraid they'll again pull off some shitty thing where Goldberg beats the current star. Banks vs Mella was better than I expected, Sasha is so smooth in the ring and Carmella's character work is very good, not to mention they look like they have good chemistry. The Women's Rumble was alright although there were number of things I didn't like, the right decision was made with Bianca & Rhea being the last 2 and Bianca winning, Finally they put over new stars instead of reverting to good ole' Charlotte. The Universal Title match was very good and I enjoyed it very much, there were a couple of moments where I felt it was dragging and the botch at the end took a bit of steam out of the finish but I enjoyed it still and think it was a good decision to keep the title on Roman. Men's Rumble was okay, not many amazing moments but of course that Edge lasting the whole match and winning it was incredible, personally I wanted Bryan but I think Edge works with the story too, the moment with Christian was very well done but other than that there was nothing amazing to the match."

[9.0] "3 hervorragende Matches, mit zusammen knapp 2. 5 Stunden Zeit. Dazu 2 die Ihnen Zweck erfüllt haben und insgesamt weniger als ne viertel Stunde gingen. Ich fand es super, nie langweilig und bin sehr zufrieden."

[7.0] "The show was good, the only problem was the victory by Edge but the matches were decent (not the opener ofc but McIntyre is still champ at least)."

[7.0] "This was well on its way to being the best non-Takeover WWE PPV since maybe Wrestlemania 31. The pre-show tag was fun enough **1/2, Goldberg-McIntyre was exactly what it should have been, a hard *** ceiling on that kind of match but I completely bought the jackknife nearfall and they took it home before Goldberg could fuck anything up. Sasha-Carmella is more proof that these two have tremendous chemistry and that Carmella may never be main-event talent but she gets better all the time. The women's rumble is the best one yet and one of the better rumbles overall. They followed up on and built out a number of storylines, had some great comedy spots, TORRIE WILSON looked like she could actually wrestle in a way she never did in her actual "prime, " and Bianca put in one of the stronger marathon performances, definitely resting in the corners at times but she worked great exchanges and set up a number of possible feuds as she goes for the gold. Easily the best rumble since the 2018 men's, and maybe my own personal fave since 2004. ****1/4 Reigns and Owens keep finding new ways to put over this feud and a bone-deep hatred of each other. The botched handcuff spot and a lame chokeout finish couldn't obscure that these two went to war and found really creative ways to keep the LMS (maybe the worst stip in wrestling) interesting. **** -****1/4 Then things sadly fell apart in the main event with a return to the mid 2010s Rumble style, with an absurd level of talent gone to waste with a plodding pace, largely boring exchanges from everyone, dumping all the best workers in quick succession and robbing us of what had been aggressively hyped up to be meaningful confrontations between Bryan, Riddle, Nakamura and Cesaro, among others. Best thing I can say about it is that Damian Priest looked great, not just for his eliminations but for a level of charisma I feel he rarely shows on NXT. The Orton-Edge stuff has already overstayed its welcome, and only the mild swerve of the usual rumble injury "elimination" spot at the end saved this from being one of the worst modern rumbles. ** If they'd stuck the landing and elevated more guys even while putting over Edge(? ) this would have been a perfect PPV. As it is, it still had more fire than any of the company's events in quite some time."

[7.0] "Nun der Opener war wie zu erwarten kurz, knapp und als Goldberg den Jackhammer ansetzt und zusammenbricht bzw während der Ausführung in die Knie geht schlecht, Meiner Meinung nach 2021 kein Wrestling Match mehr für ihn. Dann kam das SmackDown Woman Titel Match, meines Empfinden war dies ein solides Match aus dem, dass beste herausgeholt worden ist. Mir hat dieses Aufeinander treffen besser gefallen als das Match, welches es bei TLC gab. Der Frauen Rumble war gut. Ich habe mich sehr darüber amüsiert das Billie Kay erst dann in den Ring gehen wollte wenn Sie eine Partnerin gefunden hat, das beste hieran war das Shotzi sie einfach mit dem Panzer hat abgeschossen. Ich persönlich hatte lieber Rhea als Bianca gesehen kann aber mit beiden Leben, in den Match wurden Fehden aufgegriffen und fortgeführt und auch so gab es einige gute Momente. Das Last Man Standing Match war, das Match, auf das ich mich am meisten gefreut habe. Mich hat es gewundert das es keine eingriffe der Usos gab, was dem Match aber auch nicht geschadet hat. Paul Heyman versucht die Handschellen aufzukriegen schafft es nicht und der Count muss unterbrochen werden. Sehr amüsant. Es war ein Typisches Last Man Standing man prügelt sich durch die Arena und nutzt alles was man so findet. Das Männer Rumble war auch gut. Ich dachte wirklich zuerst Orton wäre raus genommen, auch weil der Referee sich über Funk hat ausgetauscht. Ich habe mich über einige Personen gefreut die ich im Rumble gesehen habe darunter Christian oder Priest. Im großen und ganzen war das ein solider bist guter PPV mit dem ich vorab nicht gerechnet habe. Ich wurde positiv überrascht."

[6.0] "Akzeptables Rumble-PPV. Der Opener war sehr schlecht. Mein erster Gedanke nach dem Ende: "Na das war ja ziemlich sinnlos". Kurzweiliges und uninteressantes Finisher-Fest. Goldberg nach zwei Minuten völlig fertig. Bill, bitte häng endlich die Stiefel auf. Das Womens-Match war gut, wenn man bedenkt, dass es Mainroster ist und Carmella involviert war. Nette Spots, Reginald gut eingesetzt, Carmellas Heel-Arbeit ist cringe, aber effektiv. Die Musikeinlage war unnötig. Wer ist dieser Typ und warum steht Booker T in GI-Bro-Aufzug auf der Entrance-Ramp wie eine Statue? Hab ich was verpasst? Das Womens-Rumble war sehr gut, bis auf ein paar Moves, die entweder nicht den Punch hatten oder vorhersehbar waren. Booking und Eliminationen waren bewunderswert. Viele gute Spots und gute Matchstories. Das Last-Man-Standing-Match war gut. Owens bringt sich dreimal fast selbst um, und Reigns mit astreinen Heel-Aktionen. Das Mens-Rumble war schlecht. Die kreativen Spots vom Damen-Rumble haben hier deutlich gefehlt. Es gibt viele gute Rumbles, von denen man die Matchstory kopieren kann. Das 1999-Rumble zählt nicht dazu. Die "Typ scheint sich zu verletzen und kommt am Ende vom Rumble doch zurück"-Nummer zieht nicht mehr, und wenn "The Miz vs irgendein Latino-Sänger" die beste Story im Match ist, läuft was schief."

[7.0] "Mixed bag but considering the lack of crowd and how generally apathetic I am towards main roster WWE these days this was a success with enough to hold my interest."

[6.0] "Ein durchaus solider Royal Rumble PPV. Das erste Match ist schwierig zu bewerten, doch ich würde sagen, dass es für was es war in Ordnung ging. Das SD Womens Titel Match was okay, jedoch unter meinen Erwartungen(**1/2). Erster Rumble auch okay. Viele Returns, aber zu viele Wrestlerinnen die mich nicht wirklich interessierten. Immerhin der richtige Gewinner und ein starkes Finish(**3/4). Reigns/Owens wird wohl durch das Ende für immer in Erinnerung bleiben. Das Match anhand dieses einen Fehlers schlecht zu bewerten, ist einfach lächerlich, denn alles davor gefiel mir persönlich sehr gut(***1/2). Main Event Rumble Match war ebenfalls stark. Viele tolle Returns, ein paar nette Stories und Anspielungen an vergangene Sachen. Ende auch gut mit einem überraschenden Gewinner(***1/2)."

[8.0] "I'm shocked the overall rating isn't higher. I thought this was an excellent show. Drew vs Goldberg was short and full of power moves as expected, but put over Drew big time in victory. What's to dislike about that? Sasha vs Carmella wasn't as good as their last match, but was still fine. The final three matches were all really good or great. Both Rumbles delivered some surprises, legends and interesting finishes and while the finish to the Last Man Standing wasn't great, it was still a brutal match as hoped. I'm giving this show an 8. A truly great show."

[8.0] "I love the Rumble. It has been a hell of a show for years now. This was no different. It wasn? t overly long and featured two tremendous Rumble matches. KO/Reigns ruled and Carmella/Sasha was very good. Drew beat Goldberg quickly too. Plus, fun Rumble moments and a Christian return. What? s not to love?"

[6.0] "Das Last Man Standing Match gefiel mir und war das Match des Abends, auch wenn das Finish etwas verbotcht war. Beide Rumble Matches waren kurzweilig und boten einige nette und sehr gute (Christian! ) Überraschungen. Der Rest war Beiwerk. Alles in Allem eine solide Veranstaltung, die aber nicht an ältere Rumble PPV's herankommt."

[4.0] "Opener war wie zu erwarten: Paar mal Spear, einen Jackhammer, Kick out, paar Claymores, 1-2-3, Ende. Goldberg Matches wie man sie halt kennt. Unter 5 Minuten und absolut unnötig. 1/2* Womens Titel Match war ganz okay, aber auch nichts besonderes für einen der Big 4 PVVs. Titelverteidigung absolut richtige Entscheidung. Match hätte eventuell noch etwas kürzer sein können. 2, 5*. Womens Royal Rumble war für mich ganz klar Match of the Night. Teilweise zwar auch nichts besonderes und ein paar überflüssige Entrances, aber dafür war das Finisch umso besser. Man nimmt Charlotte vor den letzten Zwei heraus und stellt mit Ripley und Bel Air genau die Richtigen ans Ende. Hier hat man richtig mitgefiebert und am Ende hätten beide den Sieg absolut verdient gehabt. Bianca Bel Air als Siegerin ist eine absolut richtige Entscheidung. 4*. Das Last Man Standing Match fand ich auch richtig gut bis zum Finish. Da hat man es dann leider voll verbotcht, indem der Ringrichter einfach aufgehört hat zu zählen, nur weil Heyman die Handschellen nicht aufgekriegt hat. Ich hätte hier durchaus mehr gegeben, aber durch das Finish halt nur 3*. Der Männer Rumble in meinen Augen eine absolute Enttäuschung. Unnötige Spots (Hurricane, Kane, Otis), junge Talente wurden mal wieder dämlich inszeniert, das Ende mit Orton war absolut vorhersehbar und dämlich und Edge als Sieger im Jahr 2021 eine dämliche Entscheidung. 2, 5* Insgesamt gebe ich diesem Event lediglich 4/10 Punkten, da dieser Event überwiegend gelangweilt und enttäuscht hat."

[9.0] "Excellent show, one of the best PPv? s in ages. 3 above average matches, with some great stories told throughout the night. Goldberg/Drew was kept short as it should have been, no problem there. Everything was at least decent, nothing was bad. The show closed on a perfect feel good moment. Edge on top of the mountain a decade after he left it. Beautiful"

[7.0] "Ich habe mich durchwegs sehr gut unterhalten gefühlt bei diesem PVP. Der Opener war (zum Glück) kurz und schmerzlos und mit Drew hatte er auch den richtigen Sieger. Carmella gegen Banks war in Ordnung, natürlich hat Banks das Match getragen und ich hoffe Sie bekommt bald eine richtige Herausfordererin (Bianca? ). Der Royal Rumble der Frauen war richtig stark! Und die Siegerin auch gut gewählt. Bianca hat sehr viel Talent und hat den Spot verdient. Reigns gegen Owens hat mir irgendwie nicht gefallen, da es fast klar war, wer gewinnt und ich nie wirklich das Gefühl hatte, dass Owens gewinnen könnte. Beim Main Event bin ich mir dann ein wenig unschlüssig. Der Rumble war ganz gut und erzählte ein paar Geschichten schön weiter. Und ich glaube niemand missgönnt Edge den Sieg. Aber braucht er den wirklich? Wäre ein aktuellerer Wrestler nicht sinnvoller gewesen? Schwierig einzuschätzen aber ich bin gespannt, was WWE daraus macht."

[9.0] "This was the best Royal Rumble in recent memory to me with a lot of shades from the past thrown in. McIntyre Vs. Goldberg was okay as was Sasha Banks Vs. Carmella. Women's Royal Rumble Match was awesome! Kept me excited throughout and loved seeing Victoria again. Bianca Belair deserved to be the winner of the Women's Rumble, and I can't wait to see her become Smackdown Women's Champ at WrestleMania. Last Man Standing Match between Reigns and Owens was awesome! I know some people are upset over the AEW spots, but everything in Pro Wrestling is recycled, so I don't think that took away from the quality of the match. It was a super exciting match and really shows Roman's and Owen's Ability to put on a hell of a show. Finally Men's Rumble was also awesome. Edge winning feels like the 2006 Royal Rumble when Rey Mysterio won. Back then, it was emotional because of Eddie's passing, this one is emotional because Edge came back from an injury that kept him out for almost a year. I never imagined when I watched him retire in 2011 that almost a decade later, he would be in the championship spotlight at WrestleMania again. There were some minor botches here and there, but overall, this was an amazing show."

Der Mens Rumble hat einige gute Momente und hinterlässt bei mir einen positiven Endmoment! Sehr solider PPV (wie fast immer aktuell mMn)"

A short but fast opening, moderate women's match, best women's royal rumble match, a great last man standing match, and so emotional main event. Everything was like how I want them to be. This is one of the greatest Royal Rumble shows that I've ever seen."

The womens rumble felt booked almost to pure perfection, the mens rumble is up to opinion, But both delivered... Drew vs Oldberg - **, Sasha vs Carmella - ***, Womens rumble - ****1/4, Roman vs Kevin ***3/4, Mens rumble ***1/4. Full. show anywhere from 6-7 but I'll Edge it to a 7 Pun intended."

[8.0] "Haven? t watched a full wwe paper view since last years wrestlemania so this was a nice surprise. Both rumbles were really good and the Roman/Owens bout was an easy 4-4. 25. I? m happy for edge and belair with Christian, Ripley, Billie Kay, and Riddle being the main standouts from the night."

[10.0] "Amazing PPV top to bottom. Everything on the main card slapped hard. Men's Rumble and Roman Reigns vs Kevin Owens were both ****1/2+ matches, with the worst match being Drew vs Goldberg which was a *** spectale. I seriously loved everything about this, it's like the fourth consecutive year that the Rumble delivers."

[9.0] "This was a great show... Can't imagine giving it a 0 lol. Everything on the card delivered and the Women's Rumble/KO Vs Roman especially delivered. Much like previous years, The Royal Rumble is consistently one of WWEs best shows of the year and I expect this could end the year on top. I enjoyed the entire show top to bottom and would rec it to anyone."

I haven't caught the TV shows as much as I used to but there's lots of interesting possibilities on the horizon for Mania after this show. Shame Keith Lee couldn't be there for the Rumble though."

The Harley Quinn Cosplayer, Alexa Bliss, a complete embarrassment. Worst Royal Rumble match I have ever seen. 58 minutes of drivel. Drew McIntyre vs Goldberg an insult to pro wrestling. They're still doing these 2 minute title matches involving Goldberg or Lesnar in 2021! ? Absolutely pathetic. Spitting on the title and throwing it in the trash is less of an insult. Reigns showing his originality in it's finest form, copying Matt Hardy's spot versus Sami Guevara. Perhaps in 2022 he could do a People's Elbow or Rock Bottom as a setup for his telegraphed weak spear. Samoa Joe trying to put this garbage over and grinning like a cheshire cat on camera, what a sad case for a once proud wrestler. Edge vs Orton being the story of the Rumble, this is the equivalent of Andre vs Hogan being the story of the 2001 Rumble instead of Rock, Austin, HHH, Kane, Taker. What a sad state of affairs. Edge, the ironman, with Christian, showing 2001 > 2021, because of course it was, why not showcase it to all. Was that Ricochet entering #12, one of the best high flyers in history, or Maven? No sorry, obviously wasn't Maven, he lasted longer in 2002. Miz and Morrison, wow, because people weren't already sick of that act over a decade ago! "Best tag team of the decade" indeed! Adding "Bad Bunny" does the trick in making it vomit inducting, extremely well done. They've made Matt Riddle - sorry, Riddle, a complete joke, great job. UFC couldn't do a better job feeding him to the heavyweight division. Bobby Lashley LOL, "CEO of Hurt Business" let alone ANY business, and US Champion of a wrestling company with the least charisma known to mankind. Makes Jack Tunney seem like The Rock. Seth Rollins looking like a jobber. One of the best in the world, to the same extent The Brooklyn Brawler was in the 90s. Genuinely thought he was Damien Priest when telegraphing the Daniel Bryan elimination on the outside. Only positive note is Kevin Owens, who bumped his way to putting over to the pathetic "wrestler" Roman Reigns. If that can even be called positive. Roman Reigns making Lex Luger look like Kenta Kobashi or Bret Hart. Back from retirement, Edge, winning from #1, completely original, wonderful, revolutionary stuff. Now I can see why American fans vastly overrate AEW so much, when this is the trash competition. As any sane fan with more than a few braincells knows, WWE has been unwatchable since 2001, but this takes the biscuit for the most juvenile, limp, beyond repair product on the planet. God bless WWE for making anyone completely mediocre of distinctly average feel like a "superstar" in 2021. What a charitable company. Awful, a suicide note rather than love letter, to pro wrestling."
