[5.0] "An alright show that didnt really do a lot to garner interest in Full Gear beyond the promo with Moxley and Kingston. Some solid wrestling in the opener and Bucks/Party but the rest was pretty subpar with Miro/Trent being particularly sluggish. Main event is among the weaker dynamite main events."

[3.0] "They managed to have an even more skippable and all around worse episode than last week. How is that even possible. Matchwise the whole thing was shit (at least last week we had Cody vs Cassidy which was quite good). Jericho was once again horrible and irritating on commentary, as he thinks screaming 100% of the time is hyping the show. On the booking side, I don't really get why Cody now has a huge ass stable. It doesn't make any sense and AEW doesn't even try to make it make sense. And you know what makes even less sense? The Elite. Which is face, which is heel, which members of The Elite still like each other etc. The only watchable thing on the show was Kingston's promo with Mox."

[4.0] "Highlights of the show were the interviews - the build-up for the Full Gear PPV. Moxely x Kingston was excellent, despite the fact Kingston has absolutely no chance of winning. As much as I generally dislike Taz, his interview segment was very good... although he had to name drop Tony Khan to get there, something I thought was supposed to be off limits. As for the wrestling, MJF & Wardlow was fine, Bucks vs Private Party was fine, Miro vs Trent was better than I expected. Everything else was forgettable. And get Vickie Guerrero off my television, having her on brings the rating down a point. I don't know what's going on with Nyla - her and Shida could have a crazy feud going on over the title, Shida's ability to work hasn't even been touched in AEW. Instead, Nyla's been on Dynamite 3 times in 2020, and the 38 year old has literally spent less than 10 minutes in the ring. Finally, Hangman saving the Bucks from FTR made no sense, Kenny coming out and fist bumping Page made no sense; I've no idea where they're going with the Elite. Their booking / build-up to their Full Gear DREAM matches has been incredibly inconsistent and underwhelming. You have to wonder if Khan is changing up the script & overruling their ideas because nothing the Bucks and Kenny have done in the past has been this poorly done or inconsistent. The Bucks and Kenny used to dominate the pro-wrestling T's best seller page because of the cool shit they did, and in 2020 they literally have no merch in the top 25. One more comment - the "never challenge for the tag title" stipulation for the Bucks makes no sense at all. If they lose, it's going to "Sting". A poor showing by the Elite at Full Gear will speak volumes about where the Elite stand in this company."

[8.0] "A good show of wrestling . We were able to get some storyline advancements. MJF attacking Jericho , reunion of the elite and renewed heat between Silver and OC. Miro/Trent and the main event were not good at all. YB/Private Party and MJF and Wardlow vs Sammy and Ortiz was a good opener . A 8 from me."

[10.0] "Somehow a show with a card I wasn'tt very excited about ends up hitting everything perfectly for another smooth 2 hours that feels like only one. Miro looked good in his first singles match. I still don? t think this gimmick and this video game centric story is what I would have done with him, but he stands out in a positive way when it comes to his physical presence in AEW. Hangman Page is a stress drinker, which could be interesting, but I? m not sure I like selling the possibility that he might go into a match drunk. We? ve already seen that ruin a wrestling show. A bit of a rambly promo from Taz and crew, but they made some good points about the rankings system and how it? s not as much of a factor as you? d think it would be. I presume we see them made an appearance during the TNT Title match on Saturday. The hype video for the Bucks and FTR spent a lot of time on everything but the personal rivalry between the two, which lets you know how much they fell short in creating drama in that feud. It was interesting to see JR needle Hangman. I? d like to see him to it to others as a feisty journalist digging for truth. Don? t snow a snowman. PAC had a psychotic vignette about being in isolation. He? s been there before, and it only makes him better. I have no clue where this is heading, but it was nice to hear from the bastard. He certainly has my attention. Maxed out. Natural Nightmares will wrestle Blade & Butcher next week on Dynamite. Bunny threw QT Marshall? s maxed out credit cards in his face. The meat men attacked QT and Dustin Rhodes from behind. Simple and effective build for anticipation. I like that AEW is thinking ahead and isn? t going cold into next week relying only on fallout from Full Gear. A Darby Allin video package was then shown. He destroyed a car window with a skateboard. The car was painted like his face and said ? The Face of TNT? on it. He then hit a man with the car wearing a Cody Rhodes mask. In the arena, Dark Order made their entrance. Darby Allin was shown in the crowd. Jon Silver, 10 and Colt Cabana will be competing for Dark Order? [c] The video packages have been well put together tonight. The show is very focused on the PPV, which is good, and also necessary because of how little TV time some of these feuds have received. I'm fine with the Cody match maineventing over the Mox Kingston promo because 1) It was probably the one thing on the show that could have lost time if all the angles and promos had run long. it accomplished multiple story threads such as continually set up OC/Silver, get Austin a W and get to Cody's promo. 2) Act as a "Thanks! " to Austin for his work during the pandemic. The Best Friends and Kip/Havoc got title shots, Austin got a main event win. and 3) Cody's promo was almost exclusively about how he's the Ace. Ace's should close the show. It fit into Cody's character perfectly. Eddie Kingston and Jon Moxley had a face-to-face promo battle to hype their I Quit match at Full Gear."

[10.0] "Honestly a damn near perfect go-home show. Arguably their best one of these, at least since last Full Gear. They built all these matches really well in the last week, after a hit or miss build over the last week's, it was mailed tonight. Really enjoyable matches, the opener was a ton of fun with a star performance from Sammy ***1/2. Miro vs Trent was pretty great and a great rejuvenation for Miro after the weak start ***3/4. Bucks vs Private Party was a nother great match by them, both in action and story ****. Main event was nothing special but was a fun match to get Austin Gunn over and show off the Dark Order ***1/4. Really good matches to hype the show, but not overshadow what should be the quality of matches on PPV. But then there were the promos that sold Full Gear incredibly. Mox/Kingston was the star segment of the show. Just an amazing segment. The Page/Omega package and interviews were great. The Team Taz promo was great and advanced directions for Post PPV. PAC promo was awesome. And the Cody promo at the end was another great one for him. Just a super fun show"

[8.0] "I didn't watch any of the match to be honest. I just skip ahead but I watched all the promos and viginettes. Full Gear is the best build ppv in AEW History since its inception and this show is one of the best shows leading to a ppv and I am not talking only about AEW. First of all, I was not really hype for the AEW World Championship match but Eddie Kingston and Moxley just delivered one of the greatest promos in the modern era; The intensity of these two were just off the charts. The whole card is stacked and had that extra spice that no AEW show had before. I am gonna give the only negative in this journey to Full Gear to the Women's Division that is still not getting the push they deserve. Very good go home show."

[8.0] "Dynamite features excellent wrestling week after week and this one was no different. Opener was great playing on the competitors' strengths. Sammy killed it and he is slowly turning face sooner or later and MJF progressed his character from a self centered privilleged prick, to something more ruthless. Miro finally had a competitive match, he is shaking his rust with every minute he spends in the ring, and count on Trent to make you look good. Bucks warmed up for Full Gear by beating the always exciting Private Party, also this whole story with FTR and Kenny and Hangman is getting more twisty. The promo between Eddie and Mox is one that we will remember for a long time, pretty intense stuff, they showed everyone how it's done. Finally I can't get enough Jericho commentary, I hope he does it more often. Very good go home show and this weekend Full Gear is gonna be awesome."

[7.0] "We have a proof that ranking and fight record is stupid when it comes to professional wrestling. Its not MMA or boxing. It was a cool idea on the very beginning but now we get ridiculous results. Good things about this show were not the matches, but the promos. Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston did an absolutely epic promo. After that we had another great spot on the show. Vickie Guerrero is still in her prime shape when it comes to talking segments and pissing people off. This duet Nyla-Vickie is working sooo great. Perfect combination."

[10.0] "This might've been my favorite Dynamite ever. I absolutely loved the show. It started hot with a solid Inner Circle/MJF promo backstage and maintained momentum with a strong opener, largely built on great performances from Wardlow and especially Sammy Guevara. If this match was a glimpse at a future Guevara babyface run then boy I'm excited; he was on fire during his comeback here. The Omega-Tony Schiavone sit down was strong and right after that we got what was easily Miro's best showing in AEW to date. Exactly the type of performance he needed and Trent was the perfect opponent for him; AEW also did a good job of continuing both the Best Friends/Miro-Kipper and Orange Cassidy-Jon Silver feuds with angles during and after the match (they did the same with Guevara-Hardy in the opener and Bucks-Private Party match). Two great promo segments followed, first with Hangman and JR (JR really excels at these segments) and then Team Taz. Taz has been one of the greatest promos this year and yet he comes off as underrated still due to how strong AEW is at promos overall. Private Party vs. The Young Bucks was easily match of the night. I think it was maybe a notch below their first encounter but it was still tremendous, with a lot of great callbacks to their first match and even the multi-man match a few weeks ago. The post match was the best AEW has handled the Young Bucks-FTR feud and also added more layers to Kenny and Hangman. Eddie and Mox's segment was off the charts; to me it was the Segment of the Year and maybe the best segment of AEW's history. Incredible intensity to sell that feud. Nyla Rose and Shida's stuff did what it needed to do. The Omega-Hangman video was awesome! The main event was not the strongest match but I had no problem with it after the rest of the show, and it was a nice moment for Austin Gunn. And in the end the show ended strong despite it thanks to a great promo by Cody on Darby Allin. Exceptional show. I have nothing bad to say about it at all."

One thing i hated all these past weeks were Miro and his gamer stuff, but this week, without the constant mention of "He's a gamer! " i liked him, and i liked the match. Nice show, a lot of hype for Full Gear."

[7.0] "Ok episode for Dynamite. The promo between Kingston and Moxley is pure gold period. Okay for Bucks/FTR but the highlight is Omega/Page after the match. Not so much into the Cody/Allin stuff, but hype for the turn heel of the champ if it's truely coming. Miro is still doesn't work...."

[6.0] "An okay in-ring episode with a couple of phenomenal promos thrown in. Wardlow and opening matches continues to be a winning formula; the opening tag match was probably the best match of the night, offering up a little bit of everything - athleticism but with character work, surprises but with logical storytelling. Nothing world-changing but a highlight of the show nonetheless. Miro finally had a good match - arguably he could (or even should) have looked stronger in victory but it's reassuring to see him getting his mojo back. Bucks vs Party was fine, but is probably the weakest of all these teams' encounters, and everyone seemed a little sluggish and slow to react during the pre- and post-match attack angles. Nyla's squash was nothing, really, and Vickie Guerrero's promo was lacking, as was the subsequent brawl between Nyla and Shida. The main event was a below average quality match, but nothing awful. Just felt a little pointless and an underwhelming way to close the show, especially because of the absolutely amazing confrontation between Moxley and Kingston. These two are just incredible on the mic and have used the relatively short build to craft a monumental story. This was captivating, even if it was only a few minutes long, and Hangman's interview with JR was of a similar quality, subtly moving and highly engaging. Kingston, Hangman and to a lesser extent Moxley have some of the best character work in wrestling today, and their segments stood head and shoulders above the rest of the show."

[5.0] "MJF and Sammy were great to watch, with the latter looking a little off half the time. Ortiz was particularly garbage and Wardlow showed much of nothing. Miro is still absolutely terrible, and it was apparent that no one backstage cared about this either. This should have been a squash with Miro gaining the victory within minutes. The Young Bucks and Private Party were great and accurately delivered on every aspect possible. Nyla Rose finally got to squash someone, it has been long overdue and story-wise actually mattered. The main event was boring, repetitive, and caused Cody to look like a jackass. WTF was up with that finish? Promos delivered this week as well with only some slight hiccups. MJF&Wardlow/InnerCircle (5) Miro/Trent (3) YoungBucks/PrivateParty (8) Rose/Velvet (NR or 6) Cody&GunnClub/Cabana&DarkOrder (4)"

DespicableMe wrote on 05.11.2020:
[10.0] "This is what a go home show should be. This is probably one of the best Dynamites I've seen. Every match on the Full Gear card got build up. Somehow even the women's match got a good build out of absolutely nowhere. And Bahh Gawd the promos were just fire."
Bearcatfan4life wrote on 05.11.2020:
[9.0] "Very strong go home show that go me very pumped for Full Gear, which I was already super excited about. 3 very good matches, with the standout being the Young Bucks and Private Party, who have great chemistry together. The build for Omega-Page was very good, but nothing could compare to the intensity of Moxley-Kingston. Wow was that good. Could have done without a Billy Gunn main event, but the Cody promo at the end was nice."

[9.0] "This show was GREAT. Mox/Kingston promo might have topped MJF delivering 10 lashes to Cody as my favourite TV segment of the year. The Team Taz promo was also very good. I really liked the MIRO/Trent match, as well as Bucks/Private Party, both of which I'd day were at or around the **** mark. The last third of the show (ie: following the World Title angle) was a little colder, with the mainevent feeling perhaps a little flat, at least by comparison. All things considered, this was a fantastic 2hrs, and easily one of my favourite pandemic-era TV wrestling shows."
