[7.0] "This was an enjoyable show but with very little wrestling. This was all about the fallout of Unforgiven and setting up the card for No Mercy, so in that sense they built up a rematch between Jarrett and Chyna and a main event of Triple H/Austin. Obviously, this episode is known for the iconic This Is Your Life segment between Foley and Rock, which is indeed great, but it takes up a lot of time and the rest of the show takes a bit of a hit for it. Elsewhere, Bulldog challenged Triple H for a title match at the top of the show, arguing they had a deal, which Hunter refused, but Vince came out and set up this RAW's main event of Triple H vs. Rock, which obviously ended with Bulldog interfering. Still, a better show than what the WWF had been putting out around this time."

[7.0] ""This Is Your Life, Rock": One of the most famous and entertaining segments in Raw history, which drew an amazingly high rating of 8.4 million viewers. Alas, while the segment became a huge talking point on this show, there was nothing else here that was extremely noteworthy. This was the fallout from Unforgiven, where Triple H overcame five other competitors to win the WWF Title, and also the referees who were on strike, beating down Jimmy Korderas, which was very funny. The only massive bit of criticism of the episode was the 4 out of 6 matches that ended in DQ, and also 5 out of 6 lasted less than 3 minutes."

[9.0] "This was a one segment and one match show really. You just can't go wrong with a Triple H vs Rock main event and even though they fought each other so many times in one on one matches at this point, it was still a good match with the Bulldog attacking both after Triple H betrayed him in the opening segment. The This is Your Life segment just would not have worked as well as it did without the excellent character work from Mick Foley and the charisma from The Rock and the excellent timing with the gags. It's a legendary segment and the highest rated in Raw history. I think I can forgive the lacklustre undercard on this occasion because that segment ran longer that it was supposed so they kinda had to rush through the matches.... well besides that Evening Gown match anyway."

"The only reason to watch this episode is for the "This is your life" segment, which is a classic, but it's sad to say that re-watching this just isn't as fun as it was when it first was aired. I think the main reason I feel that way is because I watched this live, and actually called my friends to tell them to turn on Raw if they weren't watching. The Rock was must-watch-tv at the time, and coming up with new slogans almost weekly. As we're 25 years later now, we've heard all of these sayings "Millions, and millions" of times, so the effect isn't the same on re-watch. But for Rock stans at the time (like half of wrestling fans really), who couldn't get enough of the hype, this was pure gold. The segment ends abruptly, which I notice a lot more now... but at the time it had everyone rolling on the floor. Definitely must watch for that segment. The rest of the show was typical for the era and skippable."

[7.0] "The this is my life segment was excellent and took up a large portion of the show, and the main event was good as well even though it had a DQ finish, but besides those two things nothing interesting/good happened."

[10.0] "For the famous "This is your life" segment alone, this Raw gets a 10. An utterly mad, and hilarious program between the best odd couple in WWE/WWF history."

[7.0] "This episode is mostly noticeable because of "This is your life" segment. This is of course one of the most entertaining and memorable moments of Attitude era and the whole WWE history. Unfortunately the episode itself isn't that great. In the undercard we have no good matches and the development of some minor feuds. The Rock vs Triple H is pretty good but the ending is disappointing. 7 points only because of earlier mentioned famous moment."

[9.0] "This episode contains one of the classic moments of the entire Attitude era, Rock’s ‘This is your life’ segment. This takes the show from an eight to a nine rating."
