[1.0] "The in ring product was fine on paper, but was very weak and no way PPV calibre in execution, a very weak 25 year anniversary celebration for Undertaker and the shows main focus was for WWE to finally crown their over pushed chosen main star in the company, Roman Reigns, only to take it all away as if it was all for nothing. Overall WWE Survivor Series (2015) is a really horrible show thanks to its very weak in ring product and horrible booking."

[2.0] "This event was the last WWE show I ordered from traditional pay-per-view and I wish I spent that money on something else. WWE was dealt a massive blow as Seth Rollins got injured during the build and they had to scramble a tournament for the vacated WWE Championship. They had the opportunity to do something different and interesting, but squandered it. The semi-final matches themselves were pretty good, with the bout between Dean Ambrose and Kevin Owens being exceptionally great. The 5-on-5 Survivor Series Elimination match was pretty dull with the babyfaces coming out on top. The Divas' Championship match between Charlotte and Paige was mediocre as WWE decided to used Reid Flair's untimely death as last-minute heat on the go-home Raw. It failed as the crowd was dead silent and the in-ring action was decent. Tyler Breeze defeated Dolph Ziggler in the midst of his three-week push on the main roster that went nowhere. The Brothers of Destruction squashed the Wyatts, which while was a nice celebration of 25 years for the Deadman, should've been handled differently. The final tournament match between Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns was fine but everyone was hoping either would turn heel on the other. Instead, we got the clean babyface match where Roman Reigns won the WWE Championship to the apathy of the crowd. WWE tried to swerve us by reenacting SummerSlam 2013 but nobody cared. Sheamus was made to look like a geek throughout his run as Mr. Money in the Bank, and Roman Reigns was being forced-fed as the superhero babyface by a stubborn old man. Survivor Series 2015 could've ended with a Dean Ambrose, or even a Roman Reigns heel turn. However, WWE gave us one of the weakest PPVs that year and one of the worst Survivor Series shows ever."

The gimmick match was the trash 10 men tag team match with boring stuff, the whole tournament thing was a joke around the shield members, which was used by the authority in letting sheamus cash in the contract. Takers match was the only acceptable match here, which was too late to be a good because it was hours past the show started. The crowd wasnt too enthusiastic about this. Overall, a bad ppv with forgettable mid card and okayish undercard. Main event looked big but the penultimate match made it watchable."

[4.0] "A perfect example of how 2015 WWE had an awesome roster but couldn't book it properly. Roman/Del Rio is a pretty solid opening match goes by pretty fast and has some good nearfalls, even if the result was a foregone conclusion (6/10) Dean and KO have by far the best match of the night. Nowhere near as good as their Rumble IC title match but still a well worked and fast paced highlight (7/10) The survivor series eleimination tag starts off pretty well being fairly dynamic, even if a bit spotfesty. Then the New Day eliminate themselves and Sheamus (who's gonna become world champion later in the night) gets beaten by lower tier babyfaces (5/10) Charlotte/Paige is an average match title match that no one was particularly into (5/10) Breeze/Ziggler felt like a random TV match and didn't let Breeze properly showcase his movest (5/10) The Brothers of Destruction have a subpar performance and beat the Wyatts just for nostalgias sake, wasting plenty of time with entrances (4/10) Roman and Dean try their best to make the main event good, but it ends up feeling rushed and it has a result no one really wanted (5/10) After that we have Sheamus cashing in getting the PPV to end on a result people cared for even less than a Roman coronation. Its far from the worst Survivor Series in ring wise, but its probably the most dissapointing booking wise"

[8.0] "Great Show, great celebration for Undertaker 25 Years carrear, great entrance, great storyline with the Wyatt Family and simple but effective match between the two teams/families and I really think that celebrating Taker with his brother Kane has been the right way to do it also because The Deadman gave signs of fatigue and inability to perform certain maneuvers. I just rewatched this PPV paying omage to Undertaker retirement with the Last Ride documentaries and I really think that the process about him getting retirement lasted for almost five years. The tournament for the WWE Championship was good. I loved the match between Dean Ambrose and Kevin Owens, I loved also the one between the two Shield Brothers in which Roman won his first WWE Title. I think that in hindsight the way they booked Roman in the first place was overall good because they understood that the crowd and Reings himself weren't ready for the Main Event status and for the WWE Championship so they waited all the year to give him the belt, only just to see him champion for 2 minutes before Sheamus cashing in the Money in The Bank taking it away from him (all of this was used to start the build up for the match between Roman Reings and Triple H at WrestleMania since that Roman speared The Game he offered him an handshake? in a storyline different but similar to the one between Bryan and the Authority). So overall a good show, non one of the best ever in WWE and not one of the best in 2015 that has been a great year for WWE as Shows quality, quite possibly one of the best vintages of the modern era with every PPV event that had his own peculiarity."

[6.0] "This PPV had flaws, but many things to like too. Th tournament went well, with very good semi-finals (one of Reigns's best singles performance) and a fresh final that teased future encounters. The Survivor Series match also had many good character moments. The second half of the show really dragged (even Undertaker's popularity was hampered), but the night ended in a way that I found very enjoyable. It was far from great, but definitively intriguing."

The Brothers of Destruction Vs The Wyatt Family **1/2. Roman Reigns Vs Dean Ambrose **1/2. Del Rio Vs Roman was horribly boring. Ambrose Vs Owens was MOTN. The Survivor Series match had no story to it so it just didnt make sense. I actually liked the womens match. Tag Match was disappointing. Breeze Vs Ziggler was bad. Roman Vs Ambrose was decent. Overall I feel like WWE played it to safe and that combined with everyone being super scared because of the terrorist threats their made this show bad."

[1.0] "Literally 1 point for some workrate, but as a whole show, everything feels like a foregone conclusion and the match lengths made absolutely no sense. Heatless outings like Charlotte/Paige and the oh so forgettable Survivor Series match, but the finals of the PPV getting less than 10 minutes? Top it off with a complete middle finger to a Sheamus cash-in and you have a new all-time creative nadir in WWE in 20 years."

[6.0] "A decent PPV. Started strong with two solid matches in the heavyweight title tournament. The survivor series style match was weak, and the Taker match was underwhelming compared to his usual work, but Charlotte and Paige wrestled a good match in between to keep it interesting. Roman and Dean wrestled a good match, even if the Sheamus bit at the end was silly."
Dane Bramage wrote on 04.12.2015:
[4.0] "Completely underwhelming. WWE had a chance to mix things up a bit with the Rollins injury and subsequent tournament, but returned to the boring status quo almost immediately. Brothers of Destruction versus the Wyatt Family was boring, going with a straight tag rather than a Survivor Series match removed any possible intrigue. The women's match went on and on and on, losing any momentum quickly. Dolph Ziggler can drag anyone down to a boring match, what is the point of him?"

Things should have been booked better leading up to and at this event. They also dropped the ball with Reigns and Ambrose having a 9 minute main event match."

[3.0] "This could have been a great event for WWE. The length of some matches makes no sense, like giving more time to Charlotte vs Page than to Reigns vs Ambrose. The tournament had good matches, but not sufficient to save it, it's more similar to an episode of Raw. The ending 'twist' was uninteresting and destroyed the chance to have a new WWE champion. Taker & Kane vs Wyatt Family wasn't that good, Ziggler vs Breeze was acceptable. Really a forgettable event."

Del Rio/Reigns was an awful opener (*), Ambrose/Owens was actually one of the "best" matches of the night, but still awful (*1/4), the SurSer tag match was bad (*), Charlotte/Paige was bad (*1/4), the BOD/Wyatt's tag match was pretty bad, but was fun seeing Taker hit all of his greatest hits (*), and the main event is actually my pick for MOTN, but it was still awful (*1/4). Also not a big fan of the cash in by Sheamus. Overall Survivor Series 2015 was one of the worst PPV's ever."

Mattrago98 wrote on 23.11.2015:

[2.0] "Honestly, I can't lie. I give it a straight 2/10. The only best part of the PPV was Undertaker's breath taking entrance and post-match celebration. And maybe the semi-final matches. That's it. WWE spent the whole month making Survivor Series solely about Undertaker and forgot about everyone else and it showed here. The PPV was ridiculously lackluster and felt like a below average Raw. I gave it a chance, thinking they'd impress but they didn't and I kind of regret watching 3 hours of this tonight. I'm watching WWE/WWF since 1996 and I can say this was one of the worst PPV's I have ever watched. I kind of feel for Undertaker that his 25th anniversary of being with the company has to be remembered for being such a crappy PPV."

[5.0] "Some pretty good things. Some not so great things. To start with the rather disappointing stuff, Breeze/ Ziggler could have been a good match but wasn't given a chance. Divas match was too slow and technical for such a 'personal' match, could have been so much better. Traditional 5 on 5 was pretty dull and made no sense. Now, the 2 semi final matches were decent and the right 2 guys won, but the final match was too short and it was far too predictable. I thought Sheamus might cash in but the way it happened still shocked me and I am surprised he's now the champion, especially after his treatment earlier on. Happy there was no heel turn by either Ambrose or Reigns but until the cash in, it was a bit underwhelming. I really enjoyed the BOD vs Wyatts, even though I thought it was time the Wyatts went over, but of course that wasn't going to happen on Taker's big night. He deserves it though and the match was fine but everything else about him was great tonight. Overall, very predictable show with only a couple of good matches, Sheamus as champion could work yet but let's see how the WWE can book it going forward."

[3.0] "Probably one of the worst WWE PPV in 2015, started with two good matches (Owens vs Ambrose and Reigns vs Del Rio), the rest was just cringeworthy. Ten Man Survivor Series long boring random match, Divas long super-boring match, then they gave only 6 minutes to Breeze vs Ziggler, while the random pointless tag match was 17 MINUTES. Brothers of Destruction vs Wyatt Family: nothing special, just two guys beating the Wyatt Family once again. Reigns vs Ambrose super short main-event, nothing special, they had 30 minutes left, but decided that the main-event was going to be shorter then the divas match(? ). Reigns wins, "what a surprise! ". Sheamus cash-in, "what a surprise! ". Weak PPV."
