[4.0] "Unless something is slipping my mind I'd consider this to be the weakest episode of Saturday Night in 1993 so far. I did actually think the squashes were relatively enjoyable (mostly Cactus Jack's, really), but the competitive matches were weaker than they have been on other recent episodes. Perhaps I was just a bit tired, but everything felt a bit like it dragged here, and there wasn't a whole lot that really generated much excitement for the SuperBrawl for me, which is a shame because other recent episodes have built the show up fairly well. I was especially disappointed with the main event, which was technically good, but far too long. Nothing you really need to see this week."

[1.0] "An hour and a half of inane, plodding wrestling with zero merit - topped off by an extremely disappointing main event between Pillman/Steamboat, where the pair go for twenty minutes without ever really getting out of first gear (the match made even weirder by the lumberjack stipulation which only further slowed its pace)."
