[6.0] "The episode of WCW Saturday Night where Sting goes to Vader's White Castle of Fear and they play a "game" with a leather strap, building up to their match at Superbrawl. The segment itself did feel somewhat cheesy and was edited like a low-budget action film, but I still enjoyed it regardless. I did enjoy the performances from Benoit, The Wrecking Crew, and especially Scorpio in their respective matches."
[6.0] "I actually quite enjoyed this episode of Saturday Night. The roster has quietly become kind of stacked, and after a rough start Watts had really helped WCW turn a corner. The squashes were fun, and the general skill level of the midcard wrestlers seems to really be improving (thanks in large part to Benoit and Scorpio). Regal made his WCW debut in a short interview here, and I'm looking forward to seeing what's to come for him as well. Orndorff and Barbarian was a really fun midcard match, and the main event was high energy and closed with a fairly hot angle that had the live audience on their feet. This was also the episode with the infamous White Castle Of Fear vignette, which is undeniably ludicrous, but I'd be lying if I said it wasn't a guilty pleasure. Perhaps not for everybody, and maybe it's just lowered standards from months of dreg when Watts first took over, but I thought this was a fun show that successfully increased my interest in SuperBrawl."
[5.0] "Compared to WWE Superstars at this time, WCW Saturday Night is the far superior show. It is structured better, has more action and storylines progressing nicely into Superbrawl. The Vader/Sting vignette has to be seen to be believed...just brilliantly camp."
[4.0] "Tough to get into the wresting when every match (minus the main event) are all less than 5 and a half minutes. Decent story progression towards the PPV."
[5.0] "That Sting and Vader promo video in Vader's cavernous lair or wherever that too place was hilarious. Kind of the lone highlight in an otherwise average episode."
