[5.0] "Lots of star power in action this week made this show a fun watch (granted, some were future stars rather than present). There's nothing remarkable from a storyline perspective, and unfortunately the two best matches on the card (Windham vs. Scorpio and Dustin vs. Steamboat) are both held back from being as good as they could have been due to either the length or booking, but it's still a fine episode overall."

[5.0] "I find WCW an interesting contrast to what the WWF were trying to do at this time with their new Raw programme and its "edgier" feel. At least edgy as viewed by Vince McMahon. In the early comparisons, preferring the look, feel and style of WCW Saturday Night."

[5.0] "A lot of short matches on this show. The main event was the highlight. The rest wasn't much to discuss."

[5.0] "A few decent matches sprinkled about a bunch of mid squashes. A standard in this era of wrestling, I am finding out."
