[6.0] "A very positive show from NJPW with a main event to please the fans and a undercard that had a lot of memorable highlights from Don Arakawa guest appearance to one of Choshu's better brawls since returning to NJPW last year. Not to mention two of their younger getting upsets over established stars. Don Arakawa -vs- Tetsuya Naito [*] WTF! Arakawa is back home celebrating his 35th year in wrestling. And he's wrestling the card-opener like he's always done those 35 years! Taichi Ishikari -vs- Mitsuhide Hirasawa [1/4*], El Samurai & Ryusuke Taguchi & Yujiro -vs- Jushin Liger & Jado & Gedo [**], Minoru & Prince Devitt -vs- Koji Kanemoto & Wataru Inoue [**], Riki Choshu & Manabu Nakanishi & Takashi Uwano -vs- Shiro Koshinaka & Toru Yano & Tomohiro Ishii [* 1/2], Masahiro Chono & Black Strong Machine -vs- Hiroyoshi Tenzan & Tomoaki Honma [* 3/4], Togi Makabe -vs- Shinsuke Nakamura [** 1/2] Similar to their chain match from last month. Aggressive and in a role Nakamura can function more because he didn't know what to do with a chain around his wrist and that hurt the April match. He opened well too, but this ended a typical Makabe brawl with chains, chairs and ref bumps anyway. Giant Bernard & Travis Tomko (c) -vs- Yuji Nagata & Takashi Iizuka - (IWGP Tag Title) [***]"
