[6.0] "A standard 'good' DG PPV, with the under/mid-card matches mostly being acceptable but forgettable, while the top-end matches were all differing levels of good. The opening 6-man tag was basic but fun, with everyone working hard. Rocky, U-T, and Kagetora were especially fun. **3/4. Fujii vs Ichikawa vs Tamagawa was the token comedy match. Nothing very serious or impressive, but inoffensive and mildly entertaining. TS;NR (too short, no rating). The Mad Blankey vs Team Veteran 6-man was fine. It started with some bland brawling but eventually developed into both sides hitting some decently frantic sequences and spots with good technique. Nothing special but fine for its time. **1/2. Horiguchi vs Ciba was alright. Ciba's early control work was good, featuring good energy and technique, and Horiguchi fought back with much of the same. Both also showed nice fire while trying to gain the upper hand. Ciba looked really good as he fought back with all his Cima-inspired attacks, and he also did a very good job taking some nasty bumps for Horiguchi's own attacks. He and Horiguchi both ended up getting some fun and convincing near falls at the end before Horiguchi hit the Beach Break for the win. ***. The 3-way Triangle Gate match was pretty good. It started slow and featured a more 'methodical' approach before Eita and Flamita kickstarted the trademark sprint pace with their respective comeback and hot tag, leading to everyone likewise picking up their pace and going for some exciting spots and sequences. It's a shame Eita and the Millenials were eliminated first, given how fresh and exciting they were, but the other 2 teams still worked well in their stead, making for a really fun final 1/3rd. ***1/4 - ***1/2. Yamato & Doi vs Tozawa & Shingo was a typically really good DG tag bombfest. It started slow before the all 4 guys picked up their paces and started going for more energetic and explosive offence, with both teams at the same time beginning to show off some cool tag spots and sequences as well. Doi and Yamato were great as the charismatically dastardly heels, and Shingo and Tozawa were endearing as the fiery underdog babyfaces. It became pretty massively overkill at the end with the non-stop big bombs and near falls, but the sprint pace and everyone's great individual technique allowed it all to hold up. ***1/2. Yoshino vs Hulk was nothing special but still really good. Both played their respective face and heel roles well, and their chemistry was very good. They unfortunately both attempted some limb-targeting that went nowhere (classic DG), but I still really enjoyed how they slowly ramped up the pace while going for bigger and bigger moves, surprisingly doing so without going too overkill. Hulk teasing winning via interference was really good and added extra drama, and Yoshino showed good babyface fire as he fought back. Their big-move trades were naturally all good, and the final Sol Naciente sequence was especially exciting. ***1/2"
