[7.0] "Wildside was a fun, athletic promotion, and had a run in the early 2000s as the fourth most viewed promotion in the USA, thanks to strong syndication. While the promotion was as indy as could be, it was the promotion that launched the career of AJ Styles, acted as one of the primary NWA territories, served as a latter-day WCW developmental promotion, and saw top indy names such as Alter Boy Luke, Chris Daniels, The Briscoes, Roderick Strong, and Sabu pass through. The promotion was , however, unable to keep certain talent from behaving criminally to fans, and lost much steam because of it."

[7.0] "A small NWA affiliate that played an interesting role in the wrestling landscape of the early 2000s. It at one point served as a developmental territory for WCW and thus as a proving ground for some of the Power Plant graduates, and after WCW's closure it served as something of a feeder company to the young TNA, with several notable names from TNA's early history having originated or established themselves in Wildside first. Notably played host to burgeoning talents like AJ Styles, Alexis Laree (Mickie James), Prince Justice (Abyss), Ron Killings (R-Truth), Matt Sydal and Chris Harris, who would go on to make bigger names for themselves in TNA and beyond, while owner Bill Behrens would also work for TNA and establish WWE's Deep South Wrestling developmental territory. Wildside also helped keep a bit of the spirit of WCW alive with its in-ring product by still holding WarGames matches. While it had decent TV coverage for a company its size, since its closure in 2005 Wildside seems somewhat overlooked today. Ultimately it was a small company that had a big impact if nothing else for the people that came up through it. (The company did have a reunion show in 2017, which notably had the now-WWE-contracted AJ Styles show up to cut a promo. )"

For its short run it was a fun little indy promotion, the product was quite enjoyable at times and this promotion did gave a stage to some of the biggest stars in the modern era."
