It does nothing to elevate anyone's credibility, nor does it contribute meaningfully to any storyline I care about. Has any wrestler ever delivered a memorable match over the 24/7 Championship? The answer is obvious--absolutely not. So, what's the purpose of its existence? To make wrestling fans view its holder as a joke? Sports entertainment shouldn't equate to forced clownery. The former can be thrilling and captivating; the latter just grows stale fast. I'm glad this title is now history."

[2.0] "The idea of a modern WWF Hardcore Championship was fine, but it just didn't have the same impact. I should mention the obvious differences between the two (to demonstrate why it failed). Clearly, WWF Hardcore had started out as a normal Championship, defended like any other Championship, unlike 24/7. WWF Hardcore also had a good history with Mankind to start things off right, as Vince had given it to them, with the intention of a fake gift. The first time we saw WWE 24/7, it was thrown into the ring and the first one to pick it up would be champion. And the design, oh my God, how can a Title be so hideous? Who thought green would look good? If the World Tag Team Championship looked like a penny, 24/5 looks like a coin on top of a bill. The only good thing that came out of it was R Truth and Drake Maverick, they were actually funny. Best places where 24/7 was defended (or lost): at a wedding, on a honeymoon, on an airplane, on a golf course, on the street with Santa Claus. Great memories, but questionable wrestling quality."

[7.0] "This title gets way too much disrespect. Sure, it might not have been as good as the Hardcore belt or even the DDT belt, but it still had some funny moments and the legend of R-Truth. I do agree that this belt could have been so, so much more than what it was, and it was clean towards it's end that it was being neglected by the WWE. And even it's destruction was a botched angle (Nikki missed the trash can completely, sending the belt crashing to the floor.) It still deserves much better than the 0s and 1s that it's getting though, because even with it being a 0 or 1 IN COMPARISON to the Hardcore title, it is still an above average belt for the purpose it served."
Pigeon Scratch wrote on 06.02.2025:
[1.0] "1 point for R-Truth solely. This title is what happens when you take the old Hardcore Title, as well as the 24/7 rule that was imposed on it by Crash Holly, and then try to commercialize and mainstream it to the nth degree. It was a joke title that could be used for promotion of the WWE. Give it to Marshmello, or some sports commentator at Fox, or some other celebrity to get some more names on the promotion, and then easily change it to whoever is the main holder of the 24/7 title. That, and just how genuinely unfunny everything around the belt was, again asides from Truth trying his best. It's a total fucking bastardization of what made the Hardcore Title in the WWE good for a time, and a total disgrace to any other title that it is similar to. You can make a joke title like this work, such as DDT's Ironman Heavymetalweight, but if you don't put in the effort to either book something compelling enough, or to go batshit insane with it (or both! ), it's not gonna be anything of value. The 24/7 Championship was a promotional stunt, and it didn't even look good."
Brando Calrissian wrote on 01.11.2024:
[1.0] "The idea behind the title was fun, and there were plenty of entertaining moments revolving around it, but it is barely more than an unfunny joke being repeated over and over again. The DDT Ironman Heavymetalweight belt and original WWF Hardcore title are much better examples of how such a thing should work, but with WWE they were never going to do anything super interesting with it aside from R-Truth, who is the only reason I'm giving it a 1 and not a 0."
RaysBru wrote on 27.09.2024:

[2.0] "The entertainement part of WWE 2019-2022 era, some good ideas but it's a good showing of horrible management and understanding of not only your product BUT the alternative way of showing the exact same thing in a different time. Yeah 24/7 Hardcore was fun not perfect but fun during Holly time but it was used to had a little time during shows where a lot of workers were used and as a "back to action" or "let's wait for entrance" act. Here with the 2019 24/7 it shoulda been used on social media, on the network, introduces new wrestlers to some people, add some character developments and most importantly not a way to use a lot of wrestlers all at once. Well there are a lot of ideas on how it shoulda/coulda been but the most important part is that it's a huge failure and i'm not sure we will ever see something like this. I can name a few nice segments so it doesn't deserve something like a 1."
Dntbamark wrote on 14.08.2024:
[1.0] "Introduced during a period of creative stagnation, the WWE 24/7 Championship was a misguided attempt to inject energy into the product. While the concept of a title defended at any time, anywhere, held initial promise, it quickly devolved into a chaotic and meaningless spectacle. R-Truth's comedic timing initially breathed some life into the title, but even his charisma couldn't sustain the concept's longevity. As time went on, the 24/7 chase became repetitive and tiresome, diminishing the value of the championship and the wrestlers involved. The title ultimately served no purpose in elevating talent or telling meaningful stories, instead becoming a distraction from more substantial programming. The 24/7 Championship stands as a prime example of a gimmick gone wrong, a title that did little to enhance the overall product and ultimately hurt more than it helped."
SethyBoy wrote on 29.07.2024:

Having a title that can be comedic and never limited is awesome to me. The hardcore title was amazing and had fun title changes and winners. The 24/7 title could be so much better if it just had a better design and more representation on non-WWE platforms. For example when celebrities would win. That is so cool to me. Although controversial I will give this title a 9/10"

The segments at the beginning with R-Truth & Carmella being chased by everyone, and Drake Maverick had some good moments. What I didn't like is how guys like Shelton, Cedric, EC3, The Revival, Heath, & The Lucha House Party were involved when they could've been doing much better things than that. Also, the segments became worse and worse over time as Vince stopped caring and Triple H took control. The design was so bad it was kind of good. Overall, I liked this championship while it lasted. It gets a Nine from me."

In the age of digital media and Logan Paul working for the WWE a 24/7 title could have been a great way to explore the product to the audience of social media influencers and YouTubers. Imagine Logan Paul dropping the 24/7 title in the middle of his podcast or a media apprentice. You could have even passed the title through various YouTubers, maybe work a deal for the belt or title changes take place on their channels to their audience. At the very least this belt should have had more focus on WWEs own platforms. R-Truth and a few others tried to do the best they could with the belt and I enjoyed moments from time to time. However this is a 0 star belt."

[4.0] "When it comes to "prestige" (notice how I used the word lightly), this title has none of that. But when it comes to entertainment and story segments, this title wasn't really all that bad. Of course the 24/7 title was always meant to be a toy for the lower mid-card to low card, but it delivered when it came to comedy as I was genuinely always intrigued to see what WWE would do with the title every week. Hell, I'd even say that this title (mainly R-Truth) carried Monday Night RAW along with Bray's Fiend character in 2019 (RAW was insanely bad during the late 2010s). R-Truth, as I said previously, was the best 24/7 champion and it's not even close, his comedy character meshed well with this title. Now that the title is inactive, I don't think I'd be much interested in seeing it again. Great entertainment but no value, brings it to a 4 in my opinion."

Unfortunately, this largely translated to uninspired "chase" sequences backstage and occasionally in the arena, as undercarders and underutilized talents attempted to add at least something to their WWE championship resumes. Thing is, there was actually a fair amount of untapped potential - the belt could've been used as a social media goldmine during the COVID pandemic, giving fans at least some form of interesting content away from the empty arenas (something successfully accomplished by the upstate NY local promotion Immortal Championship Wrestling with their 24/7 title); it could've taken a more serious turn as a dominant wrestler claimed the belt and dared all comers to try taking it off of him; etc. To be fair, R-Truth - who became nearly synonymous with the belt in the first year of its history - and Drake Maverick were able to do a few entertaining things with it, but overall the belt was a waste of something that actually could've been utilized at least a bit more, and was finally put out of its misery after just two years of existence."

The only good champion for it was and is R-Truth but I wish better for him. The only good feud for it was between Truth and Maverick. For now it is unfunny, worth nothing and ugly. It's a good thing that HHH basicly forgot about it, for now at least."

Absolute waste of TV and downright disrespectful, a zero is doing it a favour"

It feels like a very bad parody of the Hardcore title, even the original parody from DDT is quite good. It doesn't even have a good design! It's ugly!"
