"Hiromu Takahashi vs. AMAKUSA was a masterclass in modern junior heavyweight wrestling and a textbook case of a semi-main event completely stealing the show. Beyond merely meeting high expectations, the match delivered a level of intensity, execution, and emotional engagement that elevated it into true five-star territory. While the broader match construction -- often a recurring weakness in NOAH -- was relatively loose, the internal logic of the contest was remarkably strong. Every escalation felt organic, with momentum shifting seamlessly through crisp transitions, precise timing, and an unwavering sense of urgency. The relentless pace never crossed into excess; instead, it heightened the drama and kept the audience fully invested from start to finish. Both men displayed exceptional athleticism and chemistry, balancing spectacle with storytelling through selling, facial expressions, and crowd interaction. The continuous high-impact sequences were not performed for shock value alone, but as natural extensions of the match's emotional arc. By the final stretch, the bout had achieved that rare state where intensity, drama, and technique aligned perfectly. This was not only the Match of the Night, but a definitive five-star performance and an early benchmark for Match of the Year 2026 -- even with 364 days still remaining on the calendar."

[6.0] "This title used to be super great and prestigious in my eyes but it's been very hit and miss (more often miss) for a little while now. I especially noticed this during Daga's reign. I just don't find the singles junior scene in NOAH all that interesting"

[6.0] "You ask me to rate this back in the glory days then I am going a full 10 but good god is the division just absolutely crap in recent years. HAYATA is the current ace of the division and he is a walking talent vacuum. Still, the glory years were so good we need to pay for that."

[8.0] "NOAH has always been strong in his junior division, and this title is a proof of that."
