[5.0] "MJF's answer to Jericho's group. It never felt genuine. Only felt like it existed because Jericho had his team & they wanted an opposition to that. The members were all strong in their own ways as individuals/tag teams, but as a collection, they never did much for me."
[8.0] "This was a group that was really only made for one feud, and it was an amazing run in the beginning against the Inner Circle. Their debut, the Blood & Guts Match, and that whole short program was great. But then after that, it was just sort of a aimless group that didn't have anybody to compete with. The continued dissension between Wardlow and MJF just made their segments engaging, FTR being the best team on the planet and paired up with Tully Blanchard was incredible but really could've been done on its own, Shawn Spears was never going to be pushed and was really just their fall guy, and then MJF was pushed to the main event scene that he was really already in. It was a group that lasted too long and only really helped 1, maybe 2 people more than they would've already been helped had the group not existed."
[6.0] "This stable worked better on paper, but there were some cool moments and storylines that derived from it, even if I personally thought the branding was generic. Because the group was established as a way to have Blood & Guts + Stadium Stampede, it felt like the clock was ticking on the group's shelf life. After a while, FTR vanished entirely from the group and the focus shifted to Wardlow & Spears. Looking back, The Pinnacle feels like the last time that AEW ever tried to blend 80s/90s throwback style of wrestling with modern packaging, but ironically, most of the members would go on to better things than be in the Pinnacle."
[7.0] "A very good stable but I feel didn't had much time to really develop into something else. The beginning was pretty exciting but it lasted short and everyone followed different paths. Their whole involvement with the Punk and Max feud were gold."
[5.0] "In retrospect it was a stable that did its job in terms of storyline, but I doubt it will go down in history for any other reason. It's notable that after the fact, FTR saw their participation in the group as more harmful than helpful, as MJF was the focus at the expense of others."
[5.0] "One of those weirdly put together stables from the early days of AEW where they just sorta put random people together and hoped for the best. Not really a fan but I guess they were not terrible either so a 5 seems to be the appropriate score here."
[3.0] "Pinnacle was a failure from the start. I distinctly remember that the only time I had hopes for this faction was the Dynamite it was born on. Then it became obvious that everything here revolves around one and only MJF. FTR, on the other hand, spent their worst stretch in AEW when they were in this stable. It just didn't even look like a stable. It was MJF, his bodyguard, his flunky and two other guys."
[6.0] "It's a good stable that had a great reveal and rollout, however in recent months, they haven't appeared on screen together much, giving it a "they are on good terms but not actually a stable" vibe."
[7.0] "The start of the Pinnacle was great but right now they don't seem like a stable, sometimes they work together but then we don't see them as a team"
[8.0] "Now that the Pinnacle VS The Inner Circle rivalry is over both the teams just don't feel important. There is really good talent in the Pinnacle other than MJF and Wardlow you wouldn't know they are a team, they are never together and they are just off doing their own thing. It's not like the Pinnacle isn't a thing anymore because it's still recognized on the AEW roster so I'm just confused, they don't feel like a stable anymore."
[8.0] "Very good heel faction created to feud with the Inner Circle. Which was a good feud, except it was just endless. The group has all the talent in the world; they just need to be presented with a reason to exist now that the MJF/Jericho feud is over."
[9.0] "I'm giving a nine to The Pinnacle, cause it just begins. But this is full of potential, and I hope, this is for the future. MJF will be a great leader. FTR is the tag team of the stable, Shawn Spears will be the mid-carder, and Wardlow is a kind of bodyguard. And Tully of course, he's the legend and the manager. I like it."
[8.0] "Great showcase of talents. I'm digging MJF as the leader, this group has a lot of potential. I like IC better, but this is interesting heel stable."
[9.0] "this faction has a lot of great potential, they've only been together 3 weeks and wrestled one match but Spears, #FTR, and MJF are 4 of the most old school influenced men in all of the current wrestling world, and with Blanchard and Wardlow always by their sides, they might become one of the best factions in AEW history."
