[5.0] "A stable consist of good talent didn't manage to do something in the company of wcw, with their horrible bookings and matches against malenko, Benoit, Douglas and Saturn is bad.The stupid stipulations of their matches made the match even worst"

[6.0] "I wasn't a huge fan of the first version of this stable. I couldn't understand why they would include Torrie Wilson and Billy Kidman. Billy may be a good wrestler but did not look right with the group's other members who all represented the latino street style and also couldn't cut good promos which was one of the main things of the group. After they included Juvi and Tygress i thought it was better but then they bring in Disco. Of course he added the comic elements like being the uncool member of the group but again he just didn't look right with the other members of the group. Juvi and Rey were the most talented ones of the stable and together were a great tag team. Loved Konnan on the mic but that's about it. Could have been much better if they did some things different but overall enjoyed seeing them in the ring together."

[6.0] "A group with a lot of potential. Core members Juvi, Maskless Rey Mysterio and Kidman (and, briefly, Eddie Guerrero) were top-flight cruiserweight talents, and Konnan was a great choice as leader and mouthpiece. But the lineup became a little bloated with Disco Inferno as a lackey and two valets (I'd have kept Tygress in this group and found another role for Torrie, personally), and their prospects for success were somewhat limited by late-era WCW's generally terrible booking. I think they'd have worked much better as faces than heels."

[1.0] "I don't know how WCW managed to take most of my favorite wrestlers and put them into a stable that made me dislike them, but they did. Why would anyone ever think that a heel Rey Mysterio would work. The filthy animals were a terrible parody of something that could have been great. They could have used Konnan and a few of the other wrestlers (not Rey) and made a powerful heel faction based on latin gang culture but instead made poor comedy that attempted to be cool but miserably failed. From an in ring standard, everyone in this group could go but I would say most of their worst matches were when they were associated with the Filthy Animals."
