[7.0] "I enjoyed this tournament quite a bit. The Rock doesn't win the tournament like Triple H or Austin did, but you could really start to see his potential star power as his workrate was getting better and he had a ton of charisma. Many of the matches was booked well where they had an interconnecting storyline with a lot of it enhancing the Nation vs DX feud. Shamrock v Severn seemed to be the final they was building to and while it is a shame we never got to see that match, The Rock was the better choice. The final was really good with Shamrock winning a very competitive match which put the emphasis on the actual wrestling instead of constant interference and it was a dramatic match and a satisfying one."

[10.0] "A sad reminder of how much they missed the boat with Ken Shamrock. Probably the most under used talent ever. His in ring skills were sick. His tough guy persona, who would "snap" was an underused building block to his character. His mic work was improving and he merited a long run vs. Austin. Instead, they dumped him when he wouldn't work an incest angle. Geez."
