Darby Allin & OC would be an awesome team for once Sting Retires. The Butcher teaming with Menard was just stupid when there's people like Bandido, AR Fox, Lee Johnson, Jack Perry, Anthony Ogogo, Matt Sydal, and Adam Page."

[6.0] "This was probably the most interesting tournament idea that AEW has had so far, but in the end it was still a disappointment in my opinion. I love tournaments and the idea of having lottery teams had a ton of potential, but other than the hit that is Cole/MJF and a surprisingly decent powerhouse combo with Cage/Bill, none of the teams were used to their potential and two of them didn't even seem random. Garcia/Guevara and Allin/Cassidy already were established on-and-off teams, so wasting 25% of the tournament slots on them was disappointing. Even having only eight teams was a disappointment. In the end this was just a vehicle for the Cole/MJF shenanigans and a couple of decent matches. It's " fine" , but it's apparently also the ceiling for AEW tournament excitement."
