[3.0] "The truth is this Royal Rumble was very bad, it only served for the Austin/Vince fief. Although the action given by Steve and Vince was mediocre, where they used the worst "legal emptiness" of the entire history, which is only a elimination when it is above the third rope. He presented some good times, the most memorable for me, was when Steve entered the bathroom and was attacked by The Corporation. Vince as a winner was a misfortune. A very wasted Royal Rumble, but the same could not be done much for the doubtful quality of the majority of participants."

[5.0] "One of the only (rare) instances that Russo's overly convoluted, nonsensical, WTF overbooking got to the point that it was so horrifically bad it actually got good at some points. Yes, you'll probably roll your eyes at some of the stuff here. But there were a few moments in the match that it was just good ol' wacky fun. The Austin/Vince bits especially were friggin' gold. Obviously, it's far from being a good Rumble, but I never found it boring or anything, as stupid as some parts of the match were."
