[10.0] ""Leap of Faith" is peak Attitude Era -- chaotic, emotional, stylish, and just the right amount of reckless. Released in 2001, this documentary-style DVD dropped right as the Hardy Boyz were cementing their place as the most innovative, aesthetic, and death-defying team WWE had ever seen. This wasn't a deep-dive bio like the later Twist of Fate -- it was a celebration, and it fully leaned into the team's rebellious, high-flying energy. The documentary portion follows Matt and Jeff's rise from North Carolina backyard wrestlers to breakout stars in the WWF. It's charmingly rough around the edges -- filmed with that grainy, early-DVD era energy -- but that's part of the charm. You see clips from OMEGA, training footage, interviews with Lita, Michael Hayes, and even the Hardys themselves giving insight into their journey before WWE was mass-producing glossy documentaries. What really sells it, though, are the match selections and moments: Plus some standout six-man and singles matches that showcase Jeff's daredevil tendencies and Matt's growing role as the strategist. The DVD captures the Hardys just before they fractured off into separate careers -- it's the last full glimpse of the brothers as a true, unified tag force before things would change post-Invasion. What makes "Leap of Faith" special is that it feels like it's for the fans who saw something unique in Matt and Jeff -- who were tired of cookie-cutter muscle guys and saw in the Hardys a new kind of hero: vulnerable, bold, and unafraid to crash through a table if that's what it took to be remembered. It's not as polished or comprehensive as later releases, and it definitely doesn't cover the entire story. But if you were a fan during the golden age of TLC, this DVD was everything. It bottled that energy and let you relive it any time."
