Very charismatic babyface with many fire in his eyes and moves, but also he can showed you his ruthless agression and hard punches. That men can find chemistry and keys to everyone and also he is a good tag partner. My favorite part of Atsushi is his skill of making stories and bringing emotions in every match, every rivalry and he does it so good. He does it such as it is a basic ability to everyone, but he just very good wrestler, truly legend of junior division in Japan and very good storyteller. Probably, best storyteller in his division. |

Look at his match vs. Sugiura in 2013. An instant classic as an underdog babyface! At this point the fan friendly and charismatic offense of his younger days are not the same since his questionable Heavyweight run. But on the other hand very few people could have made his most recent title run work considering his quality of opponents. I would still value him as a top tier talent, and he is aging gracefully enough along with his contemporaries. A great talent who is arguably one of the more well rounded players of his time. |
