1811.05.2025bherbert19809.0Chris Sabin might be one of the most underappreciated champions of the last two decades. He isn't flashy on the mic, and he doesn't carry himself like a superstar, but his work speaks volumes. Sabin was one of the original centerpieces of TNA's X-Division and helped shape its identity through fast-paced, innovative matches. His smooth transitions, crisp timing, and bumping ability made him one of the most reliable workers in the company. He won the X-Division Title multiple times and eventually captured the TNA World Title in 2013. While that world title reign was short and didn't fully click, it was a testament to how respected he was by the locker room and fans alike. Sabin never needed to cut 10-minute promos or chase headlines. He just showed up and delivered quality matches year after year. As a singles wrestler, he could keep up with anybody. But as a tag team wrestler, he found something even more special alongside Alex Shelley. Sabin is a ring general who stayed consistent for over two decades. Quiet, dependable, and criminally overlooked, especially by casual fans.

5308.10.2024mxkami10.0Most of what I said in my review of Shelley applies to Sabin, as well. I don't think his heel work is as solid as Shelley, but he is without question, the better babyface, IMO. He never got a ton of shots at world titles, but Sabin is what you want in a talent due to just how willing he is to work in any role. X-Division, tag, mid-card, main event... He's got you. And he'll make your guy look like a million bucks if you need him to. Hail Sabin.

7220.03.2024Teetemz10.0A superb wrestler. Chris Sabin is one of the best wrestlers in the world and also one of the most underrated wrestlers on the planet. Motor City Machine Guns are most probably the best tag team in TNA history and Sabin is the greatest X Division champion in TNA history. I would love to see him win the TNA World Championship one last time at some point before he retires as a TNA original and mainstay.

7617.01.2024Deadblow [8.0] In early TNA he was a talent that always delivered a good match, his Tag Team the Motor City Machine Guns had such great matches and their timing in the ring was perfect.
7716.01.2024GreatAetherBoss10.0I remember watching his match vs Shelley at Genesis 2009, and watching it I realized that Chris Sabin does for me what maybe 4 or 5 other wrestlers ever have done for me and actually made me want to wrestle. It'll never happen of course, but Sabin making me think that shows just how exceptional he is. In the sky or on the ground he is up there with AJ Styles and Sting as one of the best TNA/Impact/TNA (again) guys ever in the ring, and the fact he still is able to do what he does best almost 25 years later and do it better than most wrestlers today is absolutely wild.

8205.12.2023crs2858.0Sabin was one of the pillars of Impact Wrestling. Whether it was in the X-Division, with Alex Shelley as the Motor City Machine Guns or as a main event player and world champion. Sabin was consistently putting on great matches and good character work.
8329.11.2023Bren0 incredible Wrestler, incredible in tag team matches and a king of the X-Division. He was part of the best tag team in TNA history and remains relevant after so many years in the company. I hope scott D'amore books a fight between alex shelley and chris sabin, i need to see this

8516.11.2023cioran10.0Basically the Kobe of flippy ****. Turns out he really was that good after he went singles. Total package. Best living flippy **** legend after Alex Shelley. Much better psychology than some of the younger guys doing the style. A real innovator. Another of these guys AEW should be writing royalty checks to. Never seen the guy wrestle a bad match. Cruiserweight height and weight and going singles too late in his career (which has been a great run) held him back IMO. Terrific in solo and tag team stuff. If you like wrestling, esp the flippy **** watch Sabin/Shelley Genesis 2009, their more recent match or any MCMG tag match. The Young Bucks whole schtick is MCMG (Shelley/Sabin).

9619.07.2023TheNorthEast10.0One of the best of the modern era who changed the whole style the business in the US along with Alex Shelly. Unfortunately, I don't believe the way Sabin shaped the business will be recognised until he is long retired. You can not watch any major UK or US promotion without seeing shades of Sabin and Shelly mixed throughout every level of the card.

9924.06.2023bisho9.0I guess he got what it takes to be a main event star. he and Shelly come to my mind when mentioning guys like Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Jay Lethal and Christopher Daniels. he can cut good promos and he can deliver good matches. maybe if he wasn't in a team he would be more like the guys I mentioned above? who knows?
