| 8 | 13.04.2025 | face painted legend | 8.0 | Still shocked that the ship was left to sail on him. He had all of the assets of a great worker that you would want, especially as a babyface, as he was on fire for close to 3 years. He had the speed, the agility, the tenacity, the fire, and the charisma. He was a former body builder, so he had the real stout build and size going for him. He was a true to life native American, so you could buy in to, and get behind him easily. I also felt that, especially in the character basd era he was around for, that persona as allowed him a lot of flexibility, and the ability to feud with so many different guys -- repo man, Rick Martel, Shawn Michaels, skinner, and bam bam are 5 that come to mind off the top of my head that he gelled with. The only thing he really lacked was promo ability, which is why I think they thought turning him heel, and giving him a manager would be a good idea, and mask it but for me that killed his run more than it helped it. Still though extremely memorable performer and a big part of my childhood watching. |

| 25 | 28.05.2024 | tlaustin | 6.0 | An exciting powerhouse babyface that never got his due. Tatanka was secretly my favorite wrestler as a child. I think there's an alternate reality where his undefeated streak isn't ended unceremoniously by Ludvig Borga (who is both bad in and out of the ring and would eventually leave WWF no long after) and he gets a real run with a title, but since we're living in this world, I can only acknowledge him as just a fine 90s what-if that never lived up to what he could've been. It's really tough to underline how over he was at one point in time. |

Horrible booking killed his WWF career when he turned heel and he just became another body in the Million $ Corporation. Shame they never pulled the trigger on him getting the IC title. Also, they squandered his undefeated streak by jobbing him out to Ludvig Borga who was an incorrigible human being that everybody hated in the locker room and would leave a few weeks later which did nothing but kill Tatanka's mystique. |

He did have quite the push during his debut being undefeated on tv for 2 years but then they wasted his push by having him lose to garbage human and wrestler Ludvig Borga and that completely derailed his baby face push. I know he eventually turned heel, I'll have to watch more of that and perhaps that'll change my rating of him but as is Tatanka just feels average. |

I remember seeing tapes of him pre-WWF (his feud with Manny Fernandez in particular) and felt he was about to have one heck of a career once they brought him in. I was wrong. I wanted to like him, but he just wasn't that exciting or captivating. Not even in a feud against Rick Martel. As years went on he only became exponentially less enticing. 2.5 rounded up. |

Having Ted Dibiase as manager during the Money Inc. run helped to hide his terrible promo ability. And his team with Bam Bam Bigelow was enjoyable. His matches with Lex Luger, and most of his work through the Independents, as well as his last run in the WWE, only showed just how average he really was unless he had the right people in the ring with him. |

Was will man mehr? |
| 67 | 08.03.2021 | KyleEnjoysWrestling | 7.0 | Tatanka was someone who caught my eye when I was young & first getting into wrestling. Very much one of the "characters" who were center stage during the early to mid 90s. Even though he is a legitimate Native American, I can see how many would consider the Indian gimmick to be something very cartoonish. I will always have a little bit of a soft spot in my heart for Tatanka. |

| 78 | 21.11.2019 | JEK 1991 | 6.0 | To be honest he had an excellent start in his career. He had an undefeated streak that lasted nearly two years in the WWF. When he first broke out he was very popular and had feuds with Shawn Michaels and Rick Martel. Had some decent moves like powerslams. Not that exciting. After losing to Ludvig Borga he descended slowly. What made him go down hill was when he turned on Lex Luger in 1994 and became a heel. He got some main event matches during that year feuding with Luger. Million Dollar Corporation he was okay. In 1996 he went down hill and left the WWF. Spent some time in the indies and internationally. In 2005 he returned to the WWF but was no good. |
