[7.0] "Ortiz is a good tag team specialist. Whether in the ring or on the mic he is solid. He is definitely best when paired with Santana as LAX in Impact. Wish they had done more with them in AEW before splitting them up."
[6.0] "I'm not sure what sets him apart from anyone he's in the ring with, or anyone on the aew roster. His tag work in early AEW was over, but with the push they received that makes sense. He got heat with Inner Circle, but that seemed to be more about booking and Jerichol. I'm not sure who he's elevating, if anyone, but he complemented his tag partner well so a decent rating. His work is solid and professional, but I'm guessing there are pros watching him thinking they're probably capable of bringing more than he can to the table. They're probably right."
[5.0] "[Update from 6.0 to 5.0] Not much newer to add I just think I rated him too highly, he's been showing recently that without the Inner Circle he's overexposed as the weak link of every group he's been in, whether Impact or AEW. He's just...there. [Old Review]: Out of PnP and probably Inner Circle as well, he's definitely the lesser member. His in-ring skills are subpar and he probably won't ever break out as a singles star, but he compliments who he teams with quite well, so props for that at least."
[7.0] "He's solid in the ring and plays a good role of being the "crazy" one in his tag team. I haven't seen much in terms of single but his tag work is top notch."
[7.0] "Ortiz was not my favorite at all when he was a heel with the Inner Circle, but after his face turn he seems to have gotten into better shape and now he's very good. His tag team with Santana is one of the best in the company right now and they're great to watch. His improvement is so marked that I sometimes can't believe that he's the same guy as he was in 2019."
[6.0] "Ortiz is a capable tag team specialist that fits well in the jovial heel faction, the Dark Order. Santana and Ortiz is a very capable tag team that is very consistent."
[7.0] "The least interesting member of the Inner Circle is still a competent wrestler and even better comedy-based gimmick. He is playing the stooge in the stable more often than not and he has shown great timing and a bit of a crazy, unpredictable side as well. Not quite sure what his upside and ceiling is, yet, but so far he is doing good work."
