He's been a strong midcarder for nearly every promotion he worked for : RINGS, AJPW, NJPW, DDT, Dradition, NOAH... but rarely had classics. For years, I used to think of him as a poor's man Nagata but then... I watched his Shoot-style match with Yu Iizuka (from December of 2019). And it absolutly changed my mind. In that match he did a lot of awesome Volk Han-esque offense that I never knew he learned. He should be doing this way more ! |
