She was my favourite wrestler growing up, but looking back at her work now, it's kind of shocking how well she ended up doing given her circumstances. Ivory worked hard and then some. She made Right to Censor the best it could be, and still gave it her all when she was put across from The Fabulous Moolah and Mae Young, even if she bizarrely had to take a pin from the former. It's a shame was fired when she was, when the women's division started to get more interesting with the additions of people like Jazz and Gail Kim. Her post-wrestling career gave us some all timer interviews, a fun and unique HOF speech, and some appearances at Evolution and the Royal Rumble showing that she still has it at 60 after years of inactivity. I am on Team Ivory forever. |
