However, taking into account his career afterwards, then this rating is kinda harsh. He obviously wasn't a technical master or anything, but for a guy his size, he did well enough. He was pretty agile considering his size, even doing attacks off the top rope. He was also charismatic enough and had a good presence. Overall, he was never amazing, but he was fun as an undercard wrestler. Perfectly okay in my books. |

His role was as a freakshow act, a insanely huge giant who could act as such in the ring: unlike Khali he didn't kill anyone in the ring either, and was generally pretty safe despite his immense height and strength. It's a bit of a shame he's got his reputation as a useless giant when as others have mentioned, the guy could actually do some pretty crazy spots for being a 7 foot+ guy who was also banged up from a career in basketball. He certainly wasn't lumbering, and that reputation was created by people who generally just generalised him as another useless tall guy like Giant Gonzalez who was only there because he was tall. Sliva wasn't fantastic, but as a undercard/attraction? Yeah, he was pretty successful. I don't get the hate personally. |

He was actually a great athlete for his size, had a solid arsenal for a GIANT, and could run circles like a lightweight. Watch some of his matches in Japan, Mexico and even his return match in WWF Super Astros against Pantera. |
