209.11.2025BillyBobJoe34.0Sid Vicious is one of those wrestlers who gets remembered more for nostalgia than actual talent. He looks like a monster, no doubt, and I can see why people liked him back in the day, my dad was a fan, for example, but that's about where it ends. He can't wrestle, he can't talk, and his WrestleMania main event is easily one of the worst ever. He was pushed as a top guy in both WWF/E and WCW, but he never had the in-ring ability or charisma to truly justify that spot. I never grew up watching him, so I can't fully judge his appeal to fans of that era, but objectively, he's just not main event material. Still, I can understand why fans enjoyed him, he looked like a monster and had the presence that WWE and WCW loved to push. Sid wasn't bad, he just wasn't nearly as good as he was made out to be. If he could wrestle or cut a decent promo, this rating would be much higher. 4/10.

407.11.2025TigerMaster9.0Sid is the coolest wrestler that ever lived. Powerbombs, fist bumps, nonsensical promos. When he was on screen no one else was. Doesn't get better than that. It's Sid's world and we're all just living in it.
524.10.2025OnAPole7.0Sid was the man. People have wrong perception of him as just another giant from 90s that did textbook big guys moves. You know chokeslams, big boots, powerbombs that type of shit. Well, what makes Sid different was his connection to the crowd and charisma. It was his unhinged nature that made him popular and people believed in this dude. Look up reaction he got at 96 SS or 97 KOTR. His WCW runs were a mess but second run in Russo era wasn't that bad. We got two all time great segments there, first being "I got half brains that you do" promo and second "WHERE IS MY CAR GOLDBERG". Speaking of promos, it was hit and miss, it would either be fired up promo, or nonsensical Warrior-style rambling. I wish he got a proper longer ECW run. In ring wise, he knew his moves, he was a pretty safe and soft worker. Surely, not the most exciting worker, but with a good dance partner he worked fine. It's unfortunate that he suffered that injury doing something he didn't wanna do in the first place. It is crazy that WWE didn't induct two time WWE champ and two time WM main eventer in their Hall of fame. RIP Sid

821.09.2025mondognarly7.0The quintessential "it" factor wrestler, Sid was not a conventionally great (or even good) worker or great promo, or an especially three-dimensional character, but had an unmistakable charisma and ability to just make things work, often when they shouldn't have. Not only did he look like a monster, he carried himself in a way that made him entirely believable as an unhinged, unpredictable lunatic and managed to get his monster character hugely over despite his various shortcomings like few other wrestlers did before or since.

1106.05.2025Olympus199.0Sid had THE look of professional wrestling. He had this aura about him that made everyone take notice and instantly came across as a legit threat. And yet, Sid had a natural charisma too, and he would form an instant connection with crowds wherever he went. Even the ECW crowd loved Sid. On the mic, Sid was menacing and captivating. It wasn't so much what he said, but how he said it that commanded your attention. In the ring, Sid was a basic power guy, but he could play his role well, knew how to manhandle job guys to get over, and he would take cues from more experienced wrestlers. Although limited, Sid did manage to work some impressive matches, because he could be led and he knew what he was good at and where he needed help. Sid's career was one of several missed opportunities, unfortunately. He had the look, the aura, the charisma, and the attitude to be the successor to Hulk Hogan in the WWF, but personal issues got in the way. Similarly his push came to a halt in WCW due to personal issues. Back in the WWF, Sid was integral in the late New Gen era, when WWF was in an experimental phase inching towards Attitude, alongside guys like Mankind, Goldust, and the earliest incarnation of Stone Cold. Unfortunately, once again Sid would miss out on his chance and left WWF. His final WCW run had promised as the Millennium Man, and once again Sid established himself instantly as a top star. But he was jobbed out to a departing Benoit in a failed, desperate attempt to keep him in WCW, and creative didn't know where to go next with Sid. His horrendous leg break ended his career prematurely, as Sid could have been an awesome addition to the Invasion storyline. All in all, a great pro wrestler who could work within his limitations, but loses a point because of never quite hitting the heights he should have hit due to personal issues and injuries.

1404.04.2025Rassle Fan7.0Sid is a lesson in being over and how important it is. He wasn't a great wrestler but played to his strengths. He also couldn't cut a promo but he had a lot of charisma. He also had an amazing look and was very intimidating. That's evident by how the crowd response from the time he debuted in WCW until his career ended.

1712.03.2025CommisarRobe7.0This guy looked absolutely excellent, very believable as the big man. That being said he was never the most exciting in ring performer and often would take part in what became rather slow plodding affairs. He is still an entertaining wrestler at the end of the day and deserved his spot on the roster. Rest in Peace Sid Eudy and thank you.

2516.10.2024socktherapy9.0One of my all time favorite big men. There was a reason he would get a giant pop no matter where he was ... the energy and atmosphere this man brought to the ring was unmatched. Pretty decent in-ring and promo work but his overall presence was just something else. The way he embraced the fans(even when he was a heel) was also pretty awesome. Sid was the man.

2707.10.2024nothingleftinside5.0He was never great on the mic, and he was never great in the ring, but man was SId over in the 90s. He worked on top everywhere he went, and he wrestled everyone who mattered in that time period. Sid had that it-factor, that incredibly rare and indescribable charisma that captivated audiences for years. He was a major draw in a time period when there were few true draws. His personality came through the TV, even if what he was saying didn't make sense sometimes or had two left feet in the ring. He was also capable of some very entertaining squashes. C on promos, D in the ring, but A+ for look/gimmick. RIP to the man who rules the world.
2831.08.2024crs2857.0RIP Sid. Maybe he was not everyone's favorite worker, but he was a monster heel who knew how to play that role well. His promos were normally hit or miss as he had some good ones mixed in with his famously bad ones. Reached the top in both WWE and WCW so he clearly had what was needed at the time.
2930.08.2024Hippykillerz9.0I love Sid. He just had an aura and presence that very few have had throughout wrestling history. Whenever he appeared on screen, I took notice. His promos were always a highlight on any show he was on and he looked like a killer with his powerbombs. His downside was that he was never gifted in the ring. When Bret struggles to get a good match out of you, that is an issue. Despite this, I will always hold a soft spot for the Master and the Ruler of the World.

3527.08.2024Dynamax Dawn8.0Sid was such an absolute badass, and really had a star quality, people can complain about workrate all day with him, but like come on, Sid didn't need workrate, he's a giant hulking dude and destroyed goobers and cut absolutely beautifully insane promos he was awesome, And like how can you get sick of his powerbomb finish? Rip Sid.

3826.08.2024venus8.0If you think this guy wasn't good, you're a fucking dork. He was always over wherever he went, a charismatic heel with a simple yet fun move set & an underrated promo. One of the funniest wrestlers ever and should be discussed more in GOAT big men conversations. Go spend the rest of your day watching him pulverise jobbers please and thank you! RIP Sid Eudy!

4518.08.2024KayfabeZone8.0Sid always had an imposing presence throughout his career. He was over in both WCW and WWE during the 90s as fans just couldn't get enough of him. Sid has had a few memorable fuck ups on the microphone, but I've always been a fan of his promos. He sounds convincing and the way he switched his tone was always so good. Like many other guys his size, Sid could only have good matches against guys smaller than him. His 1996-1997 WWE run was so good and I wish it lasted a little longer.

4831.07.2024TheBigRed2597.0He pretty much reached the top of the business in both WWE and WCW because of the amazing look he had. He was big and athletic and an absolute powerhouse. I don't think there are many who would argue that he wasn't carried in every good match he had but he managed to click with a number of guys like Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart and The Road Warriors and have enjoyable battles with them. His ECW run was incredibly fun and having met him before, I can say he is a lovely guy.

5024.07.2024bigredtalk896.0Hardly a bust, but proof that Vince McMahon would put the title on a guy simply for having a good look. Sid should have probably been a mid card title holder at most, but that was the era we were living in

6718.02.2024juiceisloose7.0It seems that you either hate this guy or love him. I'm the latter. Even though I admit that he cut some silly promos in his day and had a lack of in ring ability, I still have a soft spot for him for some reason. Everywhere he went, he got the crowd to react to him in some kind of way. He was so intense, charismatic, entertaining and so good at character work. His royal rumble 1997 entrance still sends chills down my spine and is one of my favorite entrances to this day. Unfortunately, he seemed to care more about softball than wrestling so that didn't really help him achieve the status that he could've.

7031.12.2023joeythehuman8.0It makes me happy that Sid has a decent rating on here. I know he's not mr. work rate but he was fun as hell to watch. As a kid, I was captivated at the MSG crowd booing HBK in favor of him since I'd never seen that before. Anyway I honestly believe Sid was a good wrestler in the context of the time he wrestled. Dope matches with Shawn and Bret proved he could be led to great matches. Paul Heyman had the fans you'd assume would hate Sid treating him like a hero in ECW while he buried wrestlers like the Dudley Boyz and Justin Credible in fun squashes.

7317.12.2023laddermatch10.0Sid fucking ruled, I don't care what anybody else says. Were his promos absolute nonsense? Yes. But they were fucking entertaining as hell and he had tremendous delivery and intensity. He's a man who could not have succeeded in any other business except for professional wrestling. He wasn't the best "worker" ever but I still popped when he would powerbomb motherfuckers. He just had a unique presence about him that was impossible to deny. Sid is good in my book!

8331.07.2023TheBestFiras Full of charisma. Received very well booking in WWE. Incredible looks and an amazing character but he lacks the excellence of execution. His wrestling style was a little soft due to how big he was he didn't want to hurt people. His promos were a little rushed. 7 is a solid rating.

8615.07.2023Conquistador378.0To quote KISS: "You've got something about you, you've got something I need". Sid probably had one of the absolute best looks in the history of not just wrestling but formidable monsters in all of entertainment. Giant sized, seemingly made of stone, even a brick layered face. Usually devoid of emotion except "go forth and kill". Problem is the person inside had no idea how to tap into the probable beast within and preferred another sport. I will always have a soft spot for him despite the obvious setbacks - which are many. His set backs can not be understated. There. Are. So. Many. Set Backs. No problems with The Skyscrapers and liked him as a Horsemen, those eras were probably his best stuff. 7.5
8715.07.2023MorbidAxis3.0Sid was so stiff in the ring and easily one of the worst on the mic we? ve ever seen. I honestly don? t know how his rating is as high as it is. He had some fun matches, but he generally needed someone with high athleticism to make him look good.

9715.01.2023MachoHBK2.0Ugh, this guy. The one thing he did well was look intense. Like he was maybe full of roids or something. I would've given him a four because he does stir memories of his bronze psycho Ken doll performances in the ring, but I docked him two points for stabbing Arn Anderson twenty times. Look it up. Right after that, Vince hired him and stuck Justice in his name. Pro wrestling rules.
