[5.0] "He can wrestler when given the chance and looks decent, but the people he surrounds himself with put him this low. He is better as a tag wrestler, but his work is not superb either by himself or in a team. And now, he's just boring and gets lost with the other Callis members."

[5.0] "The worst Don Callis Family member by far, and that is not a bad thing lmao. He is okay, can deliver a good match if no one pushes him too hard into. Great as a tag wrestler, not so attractive as a single one. Just a little bit worse than Chuck Taylor, sadly deals with the same struggles with long and depressing injuries."

[9.0] "Crazy to see how far and how well Trent Beretta has went since his stint in WWE. The most midcard guy you could imagine and now he's smashing it in Japan and AEW. Really impressed, need to check out more of his stuff really but overall I'm super impressed and I'm hungry to check out more of his stuff"

[6.0] "Every promotion needs people like Trent. Capable, solid & durable - somewhere around a minimum 6 every week and likely to take the pin. Not the most natural of heels, does suit a hoodie though. Was good in Anarchy in the Arena 23. Liked BF, much preferred him when he brought his mum along with cakes."

[3.0] "An unbelievably boring wrestler who has little to no good in him. He's a solid tag worker but is always the weaker of the 2 in the team. Lacks any charisma and promo skills and has the most average look ever, while again, being unimpressive in ring. Shocked to see his rating as high as it is, I now have to write 500 words because of it. Trent has never been a guy I liked, I rooted for him cause I love chuck Taylor and Orange Cassidy. His current role in the Don callis family drags the talent level of that group down."

[5.0] "Beretta's strongest attribute is his ring abilities. He is a talented wrestler with a good sense of pacing and flow in his matches, and he is pretty dependable. The main issue, for me, is that he doesn't have a lot else going for him in terms of character or promo. He tended to be overshadowed in terms of character by former-stablemates Orange Cassidy and Chuck Taylor, and his most defining character trait was the appearances of his mother, Sue. Outside of that, Trent is fairly bland as a character, with his heel turn being pretty quickly derailed by injury, not helped by a questionable loss to Orange Cassidy at Double or Nothing before that. Trent is solid, but I can't say I find him very interesting or get excited about seeing him wrestle."

[8.0] "His role in AEW isn't a glorious one, but he does it well, often as the better-looking, better-working, more interesting half of a tag team. He is quality enhancement talent that makes the other guys look good and for that I respect him and his role. When given an opportunity for more meaningful matches, he has delivered. His work elsewhere has been notable for providing the same consistent quality and he improves whatever product he is a part of. With allies in AEW he occasionally is part of storylines, but doesn't need one to provide an entertaining and compelling match. AEW could use a few more of these guys instead of signing a bunch of dudes who rarely wrestle, ever more rarely lose a match"

Barretta likes his best friends, he has no ill-will for Chuck Taylor his long time tag team partner, he loves Rocky Romero as Roppongi Vice, he dont rate Wheeler Yuta personally but respect him. After 2 decades of climbing, hitting the sexy chuckie knee on O.C who he must hate so bad than he grew more ambition to be the most versatile heavyweight in All Elite Wrestling, now the best. Product of the NYCPW school among rival Dan Barry. From Plazma, 2 percent. From Greg Jackson 4 percent. From FCWs The girl from Mexico 6 percent. Local Indy guy Greg little percent. From Trent? , 50 percent. Beretta 59 percent, Trent Barretta 80 percent. Trent! Barretta 100 percent and ready to get morels cut enough. He is ripped, massive, brick house and very damn good in the ring! He likes his best friends but not shading in someone elses shadow. It is his time and in being damn sure prepared to become someone else."

[6.0] "Trent is a guy that you use to fill out your roster. He is got a level of charm and charisma that works well on the lower mid card. He works better as a tag guy and I can not pretend to ever be excited to see him in singles even if you can always be confident he will not shit the bed."

[7.0] "Beretta is probably one of the best examples of a wrestler completely turning their momentum around and having their best work in their post-WWE career, going from a goofy lower mid-carder who could only show of glimpses of his in-ring ability and strange but endearing charisma on shows barely anyone watched to a top junior heavyweight & tag wrestler in the US and Japan. Trent's an exciting & fast all-rounder who meshed so well with the top independent talent and top Japanese talent of the mid-2010's, fitting comfortably in an already crowded pool of talent with an edge of his post-WWE mystique and endearing personality. Roppongi Vice tore through New Japan's junior heavyweight division and Best Friends had great matches across the US & Japan, mostly thanks to Trent's tag psychology and ability. The work he put into the biggest independent companies at the time translated to becoming a big part of AEW's tag division where he's torn it up with some of the best in the world as well as tell some very endearing stories with wrestlers he's had a long history with. Trent may not be a main event caliber wrestler but he's certainly an impressive and important part of every midcard & tag division he's been a part of. It's been a true joy watching his talent pay off and make the most of a post-WWE career."

[6.0] "What is there to say that hasn't been - he has a great physique and work ethic, but lacks in personality and any memorable character work. He had some great matches in New Japan and on the indies as a singles competitor, but just ultimately gets overshadowed by more dynamic performers."

[4.0] "Has a great body but not a lot else to go with it. His work is very bland and he doesn't come across as a big personality on TV either. I can't recall anything of note that's he done in his career, whether that be a match or an angle. Not offensive or anything, just someone you instantly forget about when his segment is done."

[7.0] "I like Trent. I think he's a very solid worker, and has a ton of tag team chemistry with the Best Friends. He's a bit bland at times, but he's great in-ring and fits well with his teammates. Good 'straight man' to have with OC and Chuckie. His only downfall is his lack of charisma on his own."

[7.0] "Beretta will probably never again reach the highs that he was at during the pandemic era, where he and Chuck Taylor were one of the highlights of the AEW tag division. But Trent is still a very good singles competitor, even if he is mainly around as enhancement talent for upper-card heels at this point."

[7.0] "Real good, great at selling, always steps up to the plate. Would've been a great TNT champion in the early years of AEW, but the talent coming through is insane. Always something to bite into in his singles matches. His match vs PAC was great."

[5.0] "He's technically good and all, but I've seen a bunch of his singles matches on Rampage with wrestlers I like a lot, and man Trent does nothing for me at all. Just nothing."

[8.0] "Tony Khan needs to stop messing around and push this guy, hes clearly the better worker out of the best friends team. His promo work towards Wheeler Yuta showed that he can work heel if necessary. I've seen a definite mean streak in him since he returned from injury, hopefully AEW will cash in on that and give him the push he deserves."

[6.0] "Beretta is a really good tag worker and has proved that he can likewise succeed as a serious singles wrestler when given the right match. I far preferred his work with Rocky as Roppongi Vice over what he's been doing recently with Chuck Taylor as Best Friends, since I found that the former had a good mix of endearing goofiness and actually impressive in-ring work, while I found the latter to overindulge in being goofballs while giving far less impressive performances. I honestly wish that AEW hadn't (seemingly) abandoned the story they did of Beretta slowly turning on the wider Best Friends stable once he returned from his injury, since I liked his gruffer look and was hoping he could become a good mid-card heel, but instead he's more or less just in the same position as prior to his injury. With proper booking he can prove to be really good, probably deserving of at least a 7/10 rating, but for his current performances and booking, he's merely pretty good."

[6.0] "He's a forever midcarder and there's nothing wrong with that, since he's actually good at his role. He has a really odd sense of humor and his facial expressions seem really off but when it comes down to it, it can't be denied that he's a pretty good in-ring worker. A solid hand to have around but never anything special."

[7.0] "I think the move to AEW was right for him. His weird energy fits in with the American audience, though I wonder how the rumored push in New Japan would have gone. I don't think he'd go beyond the mid-card in any promotion but he's the kind of wrestler you need to fill out your roster."

[7.0] "It's kind of hard to say if Trent's capable of a big singles push but even if he's not he's got a really nice position with the Best Friends and as a singles mid card wrestler. He's always more than adequate for nearly any opponent and his promos are unique and funny."

[5.0] "Been in wrestling for years now & simply has not done much at all. A decent look, not bad in the ring, but just doesn't have the "it" factor to make it as anything beyond an enhancement talent. Best match I ever saw him involved in was the tag team street fight against Santana & Ortiz."

[8.0] "So I have been watching him in AEW he is good as tag team partner really his gimmick of best friends work but i dont see him as a singles wrestler duo is good for him and for his partner too. But I have seen 2 of his singles matches so he is good but the tag team is where he specialises. For me he's 8 just for the tag team work"

[7.0] "He is a great wrestler, but in a similar situation to Frankie Kazarian of SCU for me: I usually am more excited in his matches if I like his opponent, even if Trent is not doing anything particularly wrong in the ring. I think the Best Friends gimmick with Chucky T is decent, but not much more than a comedy act and a platform for Orange Cassidy. On one hand that may be a bit of a waste of Trent's capabilities, but on the other I must admit that OC definitely has the far more interesting gimmick to me than Trent. Overall he is perfectly fine in the role he is in, a midcard tag team act with occasionally great matches, but not anyone I would pay money for on his own to watch."

[4.0] "When the question is Trent? the answer should be "embarrassing gimmick, zero promo skills, charisma vacuum". He has been the Jannetty in tag teams with Rocky Romero, Chuck Taylor and Caylen Croft."

[10.0] "Since leaving WWE Trent proved that letting him go was a mistake. Best Friends and Rappongi Vice were both great and had amazing singles matches in NJPW and Ring of Honor."

[8.0] "In my opinion both of the Best Friends are quite underrated but Trent having an average rating of under 8 makes me think he's probably the more underrated one. Very good and smooth in the ring, charismatic, and a good look."

[9.0] "A newly-promoted heavyweight wrestler in new japan. Super underrated in my opinion. He is always fun to watch. His offense look fantastic. He is a great seller, bumper. A great babyface as well. In 2017, he has killed it in every show, every promotion he wrestles. Hope he will have more opportunities in the heavyweight division."

[10.0] "Starting as a relative unknown in the indie scene before getting picked up by WWE and later used very sparingly on FCW & Superstars, Trent Baretta hit the indie scene again with a vengeance. From Best Friends to RPG Vice, he's shown he's a tremendous tag team wrestler, able to build sympathy as the FIP better than just about anybody, but also work an exciting hot tag. He's also lately become a truly incredible singles competitor, able to pull the best out of just about anybody he faces. Moving up to Heavyweight in New Japan could mean big things for Shitty Greg, and I wish him all the success in the world."

[9.0] "A while ago, I gave Trent an 7, saying that his character work and mic skills were a bit lacking, but his great inring work made up for it, then I saw some of his NJPW Interviews, the guy is hilarious. I also saw that amazing bump he did at WrestleKingdom 11, he's gotten a whole lot better in ring too. Until recently, I saw him as being a really over upper midcard for NJPW eventually, but I think with a bit of work he could probably be a main eventer, he has the in ring skill and the charisma to be at that level."

[8.0] "I love Trent. Inside the ring he's a great high flyer who's also incredibly versatile; proven by his willingness to wrestle a variety of different matches over the course of his career. Outside of the ring the dude is an absolute deadpan weirdo with a pretty great twitter account. Greg's a cool guy."

[7.0] "Why WWE didnt make Trent Barreta a HUGE part of their company I am not sure. He is very entertaining and can do alot in the ring. His finisher is very good and I have seen him do some amazing reversals into it. He is good both a singles and tag team competitor. I really like his tag team with Chuck Taylor also."
