[9.0] "During his in-ring career Dr. Tom was always one of those "good hands": A solid utility player who you can lean on reliably but lacking certain necessities to really become a top star or leader. Namely, he just wasn't very interesting. Not much in the way of a personality but this was usually hidden well by pairing Prichard up with partners and/or managers to do the heavy lifting there. That being said, he's not getting a 9 for no reason. This dude fucking knows how to wrestle. Like, he's really really good at it. And not just that, he's an excellent *teacher*. There's the old chestnut "Those who can't do, teach", but in this instance I don't really think that's fair because Prichard had a relatively successful in-ring career as a tag team wrestler. He was just astronomically better as a trainer. The Rock, Lesnar, Ziggler, Angle, Orton, Wyatt, Sheamus, The Hardys, Edge, Christian, Albert, Natalya, the list goes on and on. When your list of proteges has that much clout, it's not an accident. Seriously one of the unsung heroes of multiple generations of pro wrestling."

[7.0] "A pretty capable worker in the ring, about on the same level as guys like Matt Borne, Steve Keirn, Barry Horowitz & Tim Horner when it comes to in-ring ability. But honestly not much I can say about Tom Prichard, but he seems to move smoothly in the ring like I said. But his personality just didn't really click with fans. Like his whole gimmick was to be an In-ring general and that was it. As tag team with Jimmy Del Ray as The Heavenly Bodies was fine too. Also I really liked his work as Dr. X for some reason, even though that gimmick was short-lived during 96 through 99 and wasn't actually that good."

[5.0] "Good choice for a tag team wrestler. Very competent in the ring but personality wise, was just kinda flat and bland. This is where a manager like Jim Cornette comes into play."

[7.0] "As a younger lad I was drawn to his hair style and volume. Anyone with hair like that gets my attention and he kept it by being a complete, solid & stable workhorse. Was an essential element to the USWA. Loved the Heavenly Bodies team. I was crestfallen when Vince made him cut his hair off to become Zip, but of course the work rate was still there. Underrated!"

[6.0] "Dr. Tom was never flashy or charismatic, but was a solid tag team workhorse, most notably with both versions of the Heavenly Bodies (alongside first Stan Lane and then Jimmy Del Ray), as well as with the Body Donnas alongside Chris "Skip" Candido. Pritchard has also had a notable career outside the ring as a road agent and trainer; in the latter capacity having had a hand in training such notables as Kurt Angle, Mark Henry and even Vince and Shane McMahon themselves."

[7.0] "Tom Prichard was talented enough to be a solid midcard heel in a national promotion, but he was another guy whose size held him back. It probably also hurt that his interviews sounded like someone doing a Roddy Piper impression."
