[7.0] "Dirty White Boy is a damn good worker and a solid promo. He was ugly and fat but that was all part of his charm. His looks and his promos made him a relatable blue collar type of wrestler that could get the SMW crowd fired up for even the most ill-fated matches. In ring he is a very good southern style worker that keeps the crowd emotionally connected with good brawling and selling. Unfortunately his run as TL Hopper will leave him as a hidden gem of the 90s."

[5.0] "TL Hopper aka Dirty White Boy is much better wrestler than we give him credit for. He wasn't a body guy but his wrestling was solid and entertaining. He will be forever remembered for his run in WWE. The run was goofy, comedic and cartoonish but I think it is fair to say we all loved it!"

[6.0] "Like many that Vince McMahon out right ruined, I have to preface the review: Most known for sniffing coffee in the 'F as a plumber, please don't rank him based on that. Even at his physical peak he looked awful, you can't not notice one of the worst bodies in all of wrestling. Followed Len Denton's lead as a Grappler and as a Dirty White Boy very well. Did totally fine with Len Denton, on his own is certainly questionable. Not incredible by any stretch but better than a damn plumber gimmick. Because I enjoy almost all tag team matches ever: 5.75"

Came to the WWF and turned into a plumber and later, the heel manager for the heel Godwinns up until they beat the snot out of him for costing them the tag belts and then he disappeared. Another big league jobber, but a main eventer out in the boonies promotions."

[6.0] "Dirty White Boy is one of those guys that's most remembered for the gimmick he was given during his run in WWF - in this case, wrestling plumber TL Hopper (as well as a brief, even-less-memorable run as "Uncle Cletus, " a manager for the Godwinns) - and that's really too bad, because he wasn't a bad worker at all. He was a solid in-ring worker and, in his home environment (SMW, USWA and other southern regional promotions) did some fun character work as a kind of "goofy a-hole"-type heel. He had a good amount of title success in those promotions, including three runs with SMW's top title and a good number of tag team belts. With a less-than-impressive look he wouldn't have made it much above the lower-card ranks in the top promotions, but he still deserved better than the reputation his WWF gimmick(s) left him with."

[6.0] "im not a huge fan of guys that werent in great shape... werent attractive... and were basically mid card talent, but not every single wrestler has to be for me. Anthony clearly had his spot on a roster. a couple promotions did let him work in their main event picture. he was good enough he got himself the odd coverage in the apter magazines. in wwf, he was basically a joke... a colorful job guy... but in the smaller promotions like smokey moutain he was a believable upper mid card guy who you could easily build credible angles around these ratings below 5 are a bit of a joke and if future fans are wanting a fair rating of this guy i hope some more of us old timers who actually saw him in his prime will vote him up some."
