[3.0] "Whoa. Oof. I don't know. I don't know how this guy's rating is as high as it is. Maybe it's unfair of me to rate him off the back of one match, but he opened Judgement 2024 vs Tsubasa Suzuki--a wrestler without a profile on here--and Tsubasa looked like a star next to this guy. Soma's offense was sloppy and lethargic, it genuinely looked like he didn't want to be there, and to be completely shown up by someone that seems to unquestionably enhancement talent seems... uh, troublesome, to say the least. I'll change this if he comes back and impresses me in some other match, but this introduction was extremely sour for me. Great theme music though! EDIT: I have now seen him in four matches and he is consistently the worst worker in all of them. Absolutely don't understand what was going on with him in 16-20 that made people rate him so highly but he absolutely doesn't have it anymore."

[5.0] "Soma Takao comes across as someone who knows that he's good, he has potential to be a bigger deal than he is, but when it's time to deliver, he just refuses or doesn't want to stand out and be great."

[8.0] "Soma is one of those guys who is hidden away on the DDT undercards and isn't too far up in the company anymore, having already started working Ganbare a lot more in recent times. However, when given any chance to shine he usually shows he is a great talent. At this point he's unlikely to ever be more than a midcarder who can be used to as a reliable fall guy in more important spots but he's someone I always look forward to watching."

[8.0] "This guy is really underrated because he is very good in the ring. Unfortunately, he is not that much important in Damnation but for me he has a big future. Always satisfying me in the ring."
