[6.0] "The definition of satisfactory in the ring. Jobber of the stars but was always able to get the fans riled up. Had an arm injury for 15 years plus and used it to his advantage. Not the biggest move set, but very powerful in the ring. He knew the assignment."

[6.0] "Mike Sharpe was mainly known for his tenure in the WWF, he wasn't a technician in the ring like Bret Hart, but he can sell pretty well, he was also very vocal and loud in his matches, WOAHHHHHHHH, ARGHHHHHHHH. Even got a world title match against Bob Backlaund in 1983. While his work in the ring is somewhat good and bad, he was good entertainer for the most part. Surprised he lasted in the WWF until 1995."

[6.0] "Iron Mike Sharpe was a permanent fixture in the WWF's golden and not so golden years. Usually a joy to watch; always growling moaning and bellowing & was often willing to bump around as if stuck in a pinball machine. He was pretty damn big too, all natural, no 'roids here! *takes a powder and goes halfway to the locker room before coming back* Sometimes an episode of Primetime Wrestling feels incomplete without "Canada's Greatest Athlete". I always loved that he was always stuffing LITERALLY NOTHING into his forearm protector. That was All Natural Canadian Maplewood that knocked some of his opponents out! Unfortunately, he had a habit of not working well with some and could drag things way down as a result. 6.25"

He was the job guy but presented himself like he was a star, compare and contrast to all the job guys who stand there looking bashful and worried compared to Iron Mike demanding to be introduced as Canadas Greatest Athlete. The only man to have a loaded cast with nothing in there, when you are as big and tough as Mike, you don't need to. GRAAHHHHHH."

[7.0] "I've always liked Iron Mike Sharpe, one of the best enhancement guys in the 1980s WWF. He had a good size, a good look, and was funny to watch. However, his abilities in the ring also stinks. Though I am not a brawler kind of guy."

[4.0] "RABBLERA! YOBBLEBOBBLEBOBBLE! I would pay $15 to see a 3 way between Mike Sharpe, One Man Gang, and Lex Luger with the winner getting bragging rights to who is the biggest big mouth in the ring. Perennial heel JTTS, there to give wins to guys like Koko B Ware and Red Rooster so the low rung baby faces could look somewhat credible for when they inevitably got squashed by guys like Rick Rude and Mr Perfect."

[6.0] "Iron Mike Sharpe was my favorite enhancement guy in the '80s WWF. He carried himself as the biggest badass on the planet no matter how many times he got his ass handed to him. I never understood what the forearm protector was for, other than a gimmick like Bob Orton's cast. He always cracked me up getting the ring announcer to announce him as "Canada's greatest athlete" when he never won any matches."

[10.0] "Iron Mike Sharpe is one of the greatest jobbers of all time. His skill for making others look good is unmatched. He had great size and despite being an enhancement talent, he didn't lose matches very easily."

[9.0] "Great jobber and getter of heat. Great gimmick with a loaded(? ) forearm pad. Even once wrestled Bob Backlund for the WWF title in 1981 at the Philadelphia Spectrum."

[10.0] "One of the best jobbers of all time. Great as a heel. He started out in Vancouver and Toronto. Then he was great in the Mid-South (Louisiana) area. In WWF he was phenomenal. He got a a few main event matches against WWF champion Bob Backlund. I say he's not "Canada's Greatest Athlete" but shoudl ahve gotten a bigger push. He was great on the mic. Remembered for wearing the right arm brace. His moves were great and had the size at 6"5. He was not give a push but a mid-carded. RIP"

[5.0] "Mike Sharpe was one of the better and more well known WWF jobbers of the 80s. And unlike with most WWF jobbers, the announcers usually tried to give Sharp some personality and get him over as something more than a faceless name to be destroyed."

On television he primarily served as an enhancement talent, and did a good job of making others look good while at the same time creating something of a memorable image for himself as well - with his constant yelling in the ring while either on the offensive or defensive, he may well have been the loudest wrestler of his generation."
