His rivalry with Johnny Jeter in OVW was extremely intense and full of good matches. And thank God we were able to see the end of that storyline before Matt had to retire from the ring. Happy to have been able to see those old OVW shows (Some are still on YouTube) and happy to have been able to witness Matt's career in life. He is missed to this day."

He showed some promise in that match, all 3 or 4 minutes of it and who knows how far he could have gone in not for his disease. Nobody should have to go out like that:("

He was a big star in OVW. His career was cut very short. He was a fighter against cancer and kept persevering. Love the interview he had with WWE a year before he died."

[8.0] "Here we go, a real wrestler. Matt Cappotelli was one of the two co-ed winners of Tough Enough 3 and had a career in the making with earning high marks from management during his time in OVW. However the guy was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2005 and ultimately the guy had to retire from the sport for good in 2007. His work in OVW is worth looking up and it extremely sucks that his career had to end the way it did."
