[6.0] "Solid tag team specialist in the 90s. His time in WCW probably was better than his time in WWE due to getting a better gimmick. Neck injury put him out of action for a while although he did return and still wrestled in 2025 so he deserves credit for that. In ring he was a solid big brawler."

[7.0] "Under rated. Henry was great as a midcard guy and a midcard tag guy in the WWF. I think he played his role perfectly and was one of the more interesting midcarders of the sad mid 90's WWF"

[6.0] "Chalk me up as a solid Shanghai Peirce n Tex Slazenger mark, love that team and their work in WCW. Worth repeating; a great WCW tag team that should be talked about more is Tex n Shanghai! Unfortunately after signing with the WWF. things derailed and never recovered. He was brought in as a hog farmer and was named Henry O Godwinn... get it? HOG? hrrr hrrr Vince McMahon is a GENIUS! The poor former Masked Mr Peirce did what he could through hard work, but the character was damned with that moronic name, and the fact that hillbillies will never get past a certain level on the card (for good reason). Next thing ya know another county bumpkin came along with the name of PIG (which is the exact moment where Dennis Knight's career was stabbed and left to bleed out slowly) and at times his position in the card was reduced to a half step above being a Bushwhacker. Injuries thanks to Hawk n Animal quickly snuffed out an already severely mishandled career and... *sigh* i really do like the team of Shanghai n Slazenger. can i just say that one more time? Edited/Score elevated for this reasoning, WCW material = 9. WWF material = 3. divided by 2 is a 6. I should not let his WWF tenure sour how much I loved his WCW stuff."

DanTalksRasslin wrote on 05.09.2016:
[4.0] "A rugged brawler, Mark Canterbury will no doubt remain best remembered for his tag team with Dennis Knight under various names and gimmicks (most notably as pig farmers the Godwinns). But at various points he did have some singles success, including the early part of his WWF run prior to Knight's arrival, where he provided an early opponent for Hunter Hearst-Helmsley. Canterbury's career was cut short by severe neck injuries and retired in 1999; he did later attempt a WWE comeback in 2006 but never got out of the developmental system and has made only sporadic independent appearances since."
