Mari won the Singles title from Miku Aono in a points match, which is testament to her work ethic, performances and deserved popularity. Following the controversial exodus.. err.. I mean, 'Alien Abduction' that left a big vacuum in AWG, Mari really stepped up and almost single-handedly filled the hole by herself. I honestly don't think I've enjoyed a heel-turn in the last 35 years more than I have Mari's. As an Actwres Killer, she is just simply fearsome. Retaining the essence of her well-honed shinobi style (which was already strong) Mari has found another level of brutality that she seems to absolutely revel in. The introduction of the King of Ring Entertainment Championship appeared a puzzling move but Mari has made that belt matter and whoever can take it from her is getting hugely put over. Her recent Extreme Rules match vs MARU is just another example of why she is headlining so many shows."

She was one of the best wrestlers in AWG too and had some really cool moves. I always thought it was funny that her screams are probably the cutest I have ever heard considering her character was such a badass lol."

All I said about Her 3 years ago still goes (good moves, great kicks, athletic qualities well above average). While rarely seen in other women's companies, I can take it to the bank when I say She's solid at worst. Very reliable, very capable performer. Mari also wrestles for male-based companies like Asuka Pro, where is usually paired with Makoto (REINA nostalgia), and, not counting the pre-debut match in New York in 2016, She wrestled outside Japan two times (in South Korea and Italy). Her move set has expanded a little in the years, with the addition of a few moves that compliments Her physical strength (as well as Her ninja persona), and also a variety of submission moves. The kunoichi thing is not a gimmick. It's Her persona, so never tell Her She plays the ninja character. You may find yourself on the wrong end of a buzzsaw kick. I'd rate Her even higher but that would not be objective. On the other hand, I believe She doesn't get enough credit."
