The speed, the power, the perfection of every move is astounding to watch. Kenny truly captured the imagination of all fans throughout his career and I have been honored to watch his work all around the world."

[1.0] "I've really tried to get on board with Kenny. He has a good look, even if his hair looks borderline clownish after he's finished a match. But I simply don't see how in any reality this guy is one of the greatest, the greatest, or even in conversation for the greatest today, let alone of all time. I'll give him some kudos for selling his gut post diverticulitis surgery, but beyond that Kenny doesn't showcase an understanding of pro wrestling psychology, forgoing selling almost entirely and instead favouring big moves with no rhyme or reason. His promo work is robotic, and although Kenny is certainly athletic, he has absolutely zero restraint in the ring, entering the realm of overindulgence and just doing high spot after high spot. Then there's his matches with the nine year old girl and the blow up doll, which just feel embarrassing and are arguably more business exposing than Eddie Mansfield's actions in 1984. I'll also add that Kenny isn't compelling as a babyface or a heel. As a babyface, his goody two shoes nature would make 1970's Bob Backlund suggest he tone it down a little, and as a heel he's a cackling attempted Joker impersonator. Ultimately, the only thing Kenny has going for him is the fact he has a decent body, otherwise he can't cut a promo, his emoting is eye roll inducing and he can't talk. Has Kenny even ever done pro wrestling moves like a hip toss, or an arm drag, or a body slam? Has he applied a hold? Instead his matches mostly consist of flip dives, weak strikes and dropping someone else or himself on their necks. I don't get it."

[10.0] "Kenny Omega is most likely the best candidate to represent a entire new generation of wrestling during the late 2010s-2020s where up until then wrestling was dominated by the western image of a bouncer from the middle of the US who does wrestling part time that does a lariat as his finishing move. Kenny is not that. He did his defining work in Japan, a country whose contribution to wrestling even today is a mystery to a bulk of fans as as such Kenny has a lot of mannerisms that doesn't confirm to western pro wrestling. He's kinda a geek. Everything memorable about him is kinda overly dramatic, including his catchphrases and his intros. His promos are passionate, but there's always a bit where you think this dude is from a Saturday morning cartoon with cheesy acting. The fun part is he feels like a villain from a Saturday morning cartoon with cheesy acting, and a face his promos are equally kind of groan-inducing. His in-ring work is also heavily divisive; it is, bar none, the most insane athletic ability you will see, but at the same time this means matches are geared towards big, BIG moves, frantic sequences and multiple kick-outs; while Omega also specializes in long-form matches with good or even marathon-like pacing, in general his match ability is described as leaving viewers little room to breathe but all the effort to take your breath away. However, there is nothing I would argue he fails in terms in fundamentals, and he also has the bonus of being able to inject levity and comedy in his matches. While his overall stories haven't been considered amazing imo outside some particular ups such as his time in NJPW's Bullet Club, his list of matchups is unparalleled because of his across multiple promotions with their own top athletes, with some of those matchups resulting in arguably the best wrestling matches in history; a reason alone to watch whatever he's doing when's on screen. Although his career isn't finished as of writing this review, it is most definitely in a winding down phase, and you can judge the bulk of his work enough to realize that he is a genuine 10/10.. with caveats."

[10.0] "The absolute greatest in-ring performer in professional wrestling history and it's really not even close in my opinion. Kenny has a huge catalog of some of the greatest matches in history, especially in his NJPW days where he had the greatest rivalry in history with none other than Kazuchika Okada. There's not really much else to say. You don't earn the moniker, "The God of Professional Wrestling" for no reason. Kenny Omega's influence in pro wrestling doesn't really get talked about as much as he should, he brought and exposed fans from North America to tune into NJPW weekly as the leader of BULLET CLUB, he took New Japan to heights it has never seen alongside Matt and Nick Jackson, and even "Hangman" Adam Page, the Elite. Their success over in Japan eventually led to the creation of the best wrestling company today, and for many, many years to come, All Elite Wrestling. Thank you, Kenny! You are the greatest of all time."

[10.0] "Kenny Omega could have made a career as the world's greatest jobber. He sells moves like nobody else. Everybody who takes a Cross-Rhodes looks like a rookie compared to when Kenny got spiked with it in NJPW. If that was the end of the story, Kenny would be a 7. But Kenny puts on matches that average 8.7+ (weighted toward his more-reviewed ones, which average 9.3). His mic work is not always the best, but he stands above some wrestlers who have similar shortcomings because his floor is so high everywhere else. And on top of that, he's still doing that after he's recovered from a debilitating medical condition. He put on a match of the year at a period when I would describe him as "still not used to his new limitations." I can't say anymore than has been already said. 10/10."

"I give Kenny Omega a 10/10 because, to me, he represents everything I love about professional wrestling. I especially loved his work in Bullet Club, where he completely reinvented himself and showed how much personality, charisma, creativity, and in-ring ability he had. His run in NJPW helped establish him as one of the defining wrestlers of his generation. I also think Kenny Omega is the best in-ring wrestler and one of the most influential wrestlers of the past ten years. His matches consistently combine athleticism, storytelling, character work, creativity, and big-match intensity. Whether it was singles matches, tag matches, or his major championship bouts, Kenny had a way of making his matches feel important. What makes him a 10 for me isn't just the quality of his matches. It's his influence. His style, presentation, character work, and approach to big matches have influenced a huge number of wrestlers and helped shape what modern wrestling looks like. From his work in Japan to his rise as a major international star, Kenny Omega has left a massive mark on wrestling. For me, a 10 doesn't mean someone is completely flawless. It means their overall body of work is so exceptional and influential that they belong in the highest tier of the wrestlers I've watched. Kenny Omega absolutely belongs there."

It's all there in this man, who has set a new standard of quality with his matches. His portrayal of Cleaner in NJPW was one of the most memorable gimmicks for me. And of course, Kenny is talking about matches. They can start from unhurried attacks to such sequences that just make your head spin. Every match, Kenny, I literally jump out of my chair from the pace of the match. Kenny doesn't know how to feel sorry for himself, and that's probably his secret. I hope his career ends as proudly and crazily as it began."

From that moment on I knew I was watching someone special and to this day I believe that Kenny is the greatest professional wrestler of all time. I will normally root for whoever makes sense in storyline or what will make the most compelling story, unless Kenny is in the match. My issues with him are purely stylistic. He combines the exaggerated selling of '70s Terry Funk with the exaggerated workrate of the early aughts super indie practitioner. Best of both worlds, right? Wrong. When put together it's just cartoonish. It lacks any sort of restraint or grounding. It's far too OTT to be taken seriously... which irritates me to no end because Omega has flawless move execution. I'm sorry, but he just frustrates me too damn badly to let him break even."

The best bout machine moniker would be a heavy burden for any to live up to, but Kenny through the years has remained mighty worthy of the nickname, always exceeding the already galaxian expectations laid upon his back. He is always good for the best match of any show, a main event marvel who will forever justify the price of admission. One of the greatest ever."

The times it has happened I stare blankly until they pause and then walk away. That's someone conversing in bad faith. Kenny Omega has done it all. His series of matches with Okada in 2017-18 is still the best wrestling I've seen since 80's and 90's All Japan and Flair/Steamboat in 1989. He's had plenty of other great matches since then but that series in particular is his calling card. His heel promos are far better than the babyface variety but he's not reciting lines so there's a tone of sincerity that makes up for it."

[10.0] "Kenny Omega's matches always carry clear, fully realized narratives, every movement feels deliberate, every sequence meaningful. Even as his body has worn down over time, he's adapted his style without losing intensity, which only adds to his legacy. For me, Omega is the greatest wrestler of all time, based on what I value most in pro wrestling, an inherently subjective stance, but one I stand by. His in-ring storytelling is, quite simply, peerless. Few wrestlers have ever blended athleticism, pacing, and emotional depth the way he consistently has. His character work is equally outstanding. From The Cleaner, to the Best Bout Machine, to the Belt Collector, to the tragic hero, each phase has felt distinct yet connected, showing a rare level of evolution and commitment to long-term storytelling. One of the common criticisms is his mic work. He isn't a traditional promo in the mold that wrestling audiences are used to. But despite that, no wrestler has ever made me feel more, whether it's sadness, triumph, or pure catharsis. His IWGP Heavyweight Championship win victory is a moment that genuinely brought me to tears. Beyond his individual work, Omega played a crucial role in bridging Western and Japanese wrestling, helping expand mainstream interest beyond the WWE bubble. Without him, the wrestling landscape we have today would likely look very different, and arguably worse."

He is working so well as a beloved veteran in AEW at the moment after his tragic diverticulitis battle and also has done fantastic heel work as the belt collector and the leader of the NJPW Bullet Club. Everything Kenny touches turns to gold. Okada, MJF, Naito, Takagi, Swerve, he can literally turn anything into 5 stars and aside from all of that has somehow managed to maintain a loveable real life personality as a shining star in a toxic industry. It is lovely to see such a nerdy, normal guy succeed so well in an industry full of toxicity and backstage politics! Keep being you Kenny, the best in the world and a good human being, a good role model for all and the literal God of professional wrestling at the same time."

I think trying to come up with a definitive GOAT for anything is a fruitless endeavor, and there are so many wrestlers who are on the same tier as Kenny, but for my money, he's the best to ever do it. He's the complete package, you put him in any kind of match, any kind of role, and he'd shine. He thinks at a top tier level, performs on a top tier level, and outputs some of the greatest matches and stories in the sport. Sometimes he can get real quirky, and I think his mic work oscillates from fantastic to pretty awkward, but Kenny Omega succeed with flying colors far more times than he stumbles. There are wrestlers that I think are as good as Kenny, maybe even better than him in some regards. Probably the best, or at least among the very best. Promos? He lacks nothing. The only downside, in my opinion, is when he's placed in tag matches or, even worse, in some 3-on-3 situations there he doesn't always manage to give his absolute best. But in 1-on-1 matches, he's the top, without a shadow of a doubt. WWE? It's not necessary, and I don't think he'll ever go there. Real wrestling, nowadays, is elsewhere."

But it's as if this guy is stuck in a childish mood; his facial expressions and acting, and the way people sometimes try to sell him, are jarring for me. I remember when he was coming back from an injury in '22, he said in an interview that he'd figured out the meaning of wrestling, namely, selling. And guess what? Nothing has really changed. It's the same ridiculous overacting and underacting in many places, only now after a chop, he grimaces for five seconds instead of three. He's decent as a comedy wrestler; if he'd stayed in DDT, he could have been a legend on par with Danshoku Dino, but he's incapable of anything more. Of course, a legend in major Japanese AND American promotions, as well as a worldwide household name. Always has bounced back from injury and returned to shape at an impressive level. Kenny's skill, drive, and natural talent make him one of the undisputed best, not just of his generation, but arguably of all time."

[10.0] "He's the Wayne Gretzky of wrestling- you could split him into a junior heavyweight, heavyweight, and tag team wrestler, and he would be considered one of the best ever in the former category and arguably the GOAT in the latter two. No one will ever reach the level he did in Japan on his hunt for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship, and no teams could hang with prime Golden Lovers, but he has been able to turn back the clock many times in the years since despite dealing with a laundry list of injuries that would retire many wrestlers. His legacy will live on forever through his proteges Konosuke Takeshita, Will Ospreay, and Adam Page, as well as the style of wrestling he does better than anybody- combining storytelling, athleticism, and inspiration from the very best around the world."
