"An unrated gem in the Texas scene. Despite name/gimmick changes, he's always maintain a high standard when it comes to his wrestling and performances. His match vs El Generico is incredible. It's a shame he's not out there more on a national level. 8/10"
[7.0] "One of the better-kept secrets from the Texas indie scene. This guy might look like an unemployed bus driver but he can fucking go. Very crisp, very clean wrestling and he moves as smooth as hot butter. Promos aren't too shabby either. For one reason or another he doesn't leave Texas a whole lot and as a result he's probably not as over as he could be with exposure in one of the larger markets, although I think his stature and overall look provide a low ceiling either way unfortunately. Despite that, he's a lot of fun to watch and worth checking out on YouTube for a match or two."
[9.0] "Easily the best technical wrestler in Texas in his generation. Anyone who can keep up with his lightning quick lucharesu-inspired style is clearly very gifted. For those who can't... he'll still make sure the match is excellent and everyone will look great anyway. Lately Jay has embraced a more old-school approach as he matures into a mentor/gatekeeper for the Texas indies. He's also a terrific talker, and his frequently bizarre and hilarious promos tend to take the audience on a whirlwind roller-coaster of emotions. His presence on a card is a needle-mover for those who love to see technical mastery and great character work."
