[9.0] "Serpentico/Jon Cruz is one of the greatest talents at getting destroyed I have ever seen. Just phenomenal body language, expressions, bursts of athleticism, and emotion. He will probably never win anything and I don't even really think he should, even with all that he's capable of, because he's just absolutely -perfect- at "theater" portion of wrestling. Love him to death."
[3.0] "I don't even remember pretty well of him honestly, but for what my weak mind remember, he was just average. TH2 was a good idea that sadly didn't was well executed."
[7.0] "One thing that stands out about Serpentico is his ability to tell a story, even in chaotic matches. Whether he's taking punishment or dishing it out, his facial expressions, body language, and selling draw you in every time. You don't just see the match--you feel it, and that's a skill not every wrestler has."
[9.0] "He is not a main event superstar, but he is amazing for where he is and what he does.. He is so good at using his body language and selling to get people over. He is plucky and able to make you feel for him even though you are booing him. His work on AEW Dark was a constant highlight and even now I know I am going to have an entertaining match whenever he shows up."
[9.0] "Love serpentico man. He deserves so much more credit than he gets. Truly one of the hardest, most dedicated wrestlers in the biz today. Amazing seller too. For someone so small and who loses so much, he has stuck around AEW and wrestles sometimes multiple times under different gimmicks such as Jon Cruz and my persona favorite; Ben dejo."
[7.0] "Never going to set the world on fire, but does an incredibly important job by being that lower card whopping guy. Does it with style and grace and very good selling. Deserves any plaudits he gets for that role. Good on the lad. Also can we talk about Ben Dejo? !"
"[10.0] Serpentico is a great wrestler, but the only problem is AEW nowadays can't decide whether they want him to win or lose matches it's the same pattern every time he loses a lot of matches then he wins one match then he keeps losing, honestly sometimes it can be confusing keeping track of his wins and losses and AEW should come to a decision and that decision should be to have Serpentico win matches that is all."
[8.0] "he is perfect for his current role and i really enjoy seeing him in that ring making other people look good, i enjoy his gimmick and everything he brings inside that ring, a great wrestler."
[5.0] "Good lower level wrestler in AEW. Has talent but in AEW his abilities to sell has been what has made him so valuable. Has a good gimmick and is talented in the ring."
[10.0] "This guy is one of AEW's best low-carders. When Serpentico is jobbed out, he makes his opponent look great. He has occasional wins on Dark and Elevation, which is how lowcarders should be treated. His teaming with Luther and Angelico is one of the most fun stables AEW has ever had. Overall, he's a great guy for AEW to have in the back pocket."
[7.0] "Serpentico shows that there's an art to being a good jobber. He understands that here's there to make his opponent look good, and to make sure that he does all he can to make whatever match he's in entertaining. He really is a complete pro. He's good enough in the ring to make his opponents look good and he can have a good, competitive match if he needs to. He's got great comedic chops too. Serpentico has carved a nice career for himself on the AEW midcard."
[7.0] "I think John Cruz is unique in his own way. Performing in All Elite Wrestling, he did not show many outstanding matches, but I am interested in watching almost every one. At the moment, like no other jobber, he is amazing at putting his opponent in a good light, which is actually a sign of his talent. He had good matches on the independent scene, but specifically in AEW in the role of Serpentico he was able to really open up, becoming one of the most memorable guys to beat."
[7.0] "I don't think Serpentico gets the respect he deserves because he's just a low card guy (Elevation or Dark primarily) and I also think he's better as a Singles competitor and think Luther drags him down a bit in my opinion. I have seen some amazing moves by Serpentico in the many matches he has had and he also gets a +1 for being the workhorse he is. Win or lose (mostly lose obviously, in AEW at least) he always puts on the best he can with whatever time he gets."
[7.0] "Every company needs their jobbers and Serpentico is fantastic as it: makes any of his opponent look good, really memorable in the ring (either with Luther as Chaos Project or alone) and genuinely entertaining. I'm never bored during a Serpentico match and I can't say the same about other wrestlers."
[9.0] "Extremely good if you give him the freedom and time. If you see him at an indie show lately, he works his ass off and delivers atleast four and a half star matches every time. Insanely underrated."
