[10.0] "Javier Bernal doesn't get enough credit for the matches he's had, and I honestly think he deserves way more recognition for his work in the ring. He is super talented, and it shows in almost every match he's in. He has good character work and I see a lot of potential in it if that's the route he continues to go with, Javier manages to put on enjoyable matches that stand out to me. He's got a lot of potential, and I believe that with the right push, he's going to be a huge star in the future. His match with Luca Crusifino at Evolve was such a great way to bring him back after his injury, the history between him and Luca added a lot to the match. Their rivalry sets up a really solid storyline that I hope gets explored more. There's a lot of room for his character to develop, and I think working with Luca will give him the extra help he may need. Now that he's back from injury, I'm excited to see how he continues to grow as a wrestler. His talent is undeniable, and he's proven time and time again that he's one of the more consistent performers from what i've seen. With his work ethic and dedication, I can definitely see him becoming a big name in the near future. He's a great wrestler, and I think his future is definitely one to watch."

[8.0] "Easily one of the best jobbers in the modern era. Honestly reminds me a TON of early-2010s Heath Slater with how he carries himself, how he sells in the ring, how he comes across on the mic, all of it, together. He's honestly just really fun to watch, and could be a versatile performer if given the required time. Obviously it'll be up to WWE on if he makes it out of the hell that is LVL UP, but I hope he does, and hope that he can make a career for himself, because he's got the tools to be something, and just needs the time to make it."

[4.0] "He is kind of funny and comes across as a really unlikable heel in his interviews. In the ring all I can think of is when he seemingly bottled taking Tyler Bate's Tyler (Tiger) Driver and it did not end well for him..."

[5.0] "Javier Bernal is new to wwe, but I like him. So far he has only been in NXT lvl up matches mainly, but I think he can be a good wrestler in a year or two."

[5.0] "I'll definitely change my rating in some time. Right now, with about 1 year of experience, this guy has potential to become something big enough in the future. He has confidence, charisma and mic-skills. They're not outstanding, but remember that even people with years in this industry struggle to develop their character. If he manages to stay in WWE, that's all he'll have to master to be a superstar. Also, I'm not saying "Javier Bernal" gimmick is particularly good, but you have to give him props for succeeding in making it work, in some way at least."

"Not bad for a newcomer. Bernal's good-looking, has some charisma and is visibly improving in the ring, though his moveset is still quite limited and his matches aren't yet very memorable to me. I don't think the Javier Bernal gimmick is particularly great, but he's doing a reasonable job of portraying the character."
