[5.0] "Looks like the tale of Flyer has come to an end, as far as wrestling goes. Currently, he has 0 bookings in 2024. It's insane to think that he was once a rising, exciting tecnico that lived up to his name. I'd say that some time in 2019, the pressure of getting pushed got into his head badly. He became prone to botching spots, and I recall a nasty error where he tried to do an assisted jumping headscissors takedown from the entrance ramp, into Eufora, who was in the ring - one of Flyer's legs got caught on the top rope, and he twisted his leg. Very luckily for him, this was not a crippling injury. I do consider that a turning point in his confidence, though. CMLL still wanted to keep trying with him, and even made him a tag team champion with Atlantis Jr, but Flyer only got worse after the 2020 COVID shutdown. He would get lost and freeze in place during matches, and pick up a few injuries. There was an incident at Arena Coliseo in late 2022 where he got beat up (for real) because he was basically drunk and uncooperative. Since then, he was mostly relegated to B shows, and during july and august 2023, had a mysterious 6 week absence, which usually means there was a quiet suspension from CMLL. His final CMLL appearance was in september 2023, as part of a filler trios match on sunday. With the promotion focusing on bringing in younger talents, I would not blame them if they finally decided to cut bait on Flyer."
