[2.0] "To put it simply, Disco sucks, couldn't talk, couldn't work unless he got walked through his spots by a better wrestler, which I guess is better than nothing. He truly was nothing more than a gimmick, and these days he somehow is an even bigger loser, oh well."

[4.0] "Disco was a fine worker and could be funny in the early days of Nitro. He also can't cut a promo and literally carried the bags of higher profile wrestlers with the hopes of getting a rub. Post career he spends his time spouting off about things he knows nothing about, mainly having a great match."

Cody Rhodes nailed this one with a bullet. Explains exactly how I feel about Disco. I grew up watching WCW starting in '96, and even as a 7 year old, I didn't like Disco ever. He's not even adequate in-ring, people. He always looks so lost, he's clunky, he can't bump, the Chartbuster looked f****** terrible... Enjoy your continued irrelevancy, Glenn."

[3.0] "Before I get into my rating, I need to address the elephant in the room, I know there's gonna be people who will look at my rating and think "butthurt AEW fan handing out a 3 for Disco because he hates AEW LOL! " explain why I give Jim Cornette a 10 despite his hatred for modern wrestling along with other horrific comments he's made? Exactly. Now that I got that out of the way, lets get into my reasoning. Disco Inferno was a comedy gimmick without the comedy, he was also a subpar wrestler in the ring who didn't have a memorable promo in his career or any good ones. Sure, he was over and he had charisma, so much so that he ended The Undertaker's streak of winning WON's best gimmick award (still have a hard time realizing that...), but being popular and having an audience doesn't mean you're automatically good. Afterall, Nickelback were very popular in the 2000s, does that make them a good band? Didn't think so. Disco Inferno is a bottom tier comedy gimmick and a mediocre at best performer in the ring who was a one trick pony that wasn't even good to begin with, glad Cody Rhodes buried this man on Twitter."

[5.0] "Disco is one of the biggest haters on modern wrestling. He doesn't respect the skill it takes to perform at a very high level in the ring and places all the emphasis on the promos and gimmicks that appeals to the casual fan. He wasn't very impressive in the ring but he played his role well."

[3.0] "Disco Inferno was very much a gimmick. I do not find him that impressive in the ring or on the mic. He did get over in WCW. His booking ideas like Martian Invasion were not good and hopefully meant as gags. Okay comedy guy but never should be pushed or allowed to book"

[5.0] "To his credit, the gimmick was over, and he was exactly as talented as he needed to be to work the gimmick. That said, he still wasn't great on the mic or in the ring, and the gimmick did a LOT of the heavy lifting for him. Luckily, he fit it like a glove."

[2.0] "Another wrestler that wasn't as bad as you remember, but still pretty terrible nonetheless. The gimmick did get over in like 98, but once there started being speaking parts for him in storylines, it was shit. Still involved in the business today, or he has a podcast at least. He is full of shit on there as well, but occasionally has an accurate take. A very "broken clock is right twice a day" type. No idea how he was as a booker or creative type, but I'm sure it was bad based on the shit he says on his podcast. C+ gimmick, D in the ring, F on promos."

[6.0] "Disco is a solid worker with a mouth that gets him Heat. In WCW he was a mid carder who they tried to push and put in him in nWo Wolfpack but it didn't work. In TNA he got a push because he friended Russo. Most things that he got were because he had friends in high places. I highly recommend his matches with Saturn and his TV Title run."

[2.0] "He's so bad, his gimmick could have worked for anybody. But he was popular with the WCW crowd I guess, I don't care considering he was A bad wrestler and A bad promo and good at literally NOTHING! Now he talks bad about wrestling on his podcast I guess, but this is about him as A wrestler and he as A wrestler was terrible, lol."

[4.0] "The absolute face of a totally mediocre wrestler who thinks because he happened to be booked on the same show as some big draws and names that it was actually him contributing to the company. Now runs some dogwater podcast or whatever, and is most well known for embarassing himself on social media on a regular basis."

[8.0] "Its pretty funny how people on here have forgotten about his WCW days because they dont agree with what he says on Twitter. He was a great gimmick that drew huge fan reactions when he was in WCW. He made top stars look great when he was in there with them. He was a perfect undercard performer in the time he was active"

[7.0] "Laughing at the fact that Disco's rating has went down over the last few years due to modern wrestling fans disagreeing with what he says about the current product. The fact is if Disco was around today with the same gimmick he'd be a mega-over comedy upper midcarder in AEW, and all the people giving him 0s and 1s would be giving him 7s and 8s. Average wrestler, entertaining character, good heel promo. Small by the standards of the roided up monsters in the 90s, but looks like Brock Lesnar compared to someone like Orange Cassidy."

[4.0] "He wrestled ok. That's it. Just ok. Hed get routinely outshined by other WCW talent in the workrate department like Mysterio, Eddie & Benoit, Ultimo Dragon and others but his gimmick kept him on TV. Said gimmick was surprisingly over at the time but if you want to see a late nineties WCW wrestler who not only danced but also wrestled like a God, you got Alex Wright. Oh yeah, and Disco is a malignant, over-the-hill cunt. If youre reading this Disco Inferno: You, I could kindly do without."

[2.0] "Subpar ring skills as far as I'm concerned. Could talk on the mic but not in a way that really engaged anyone. Was alright in 97 or so but when he would just keep finding himself in stables like the Wolfpack and the Filthy Animals he got pretty unbearable. Came off like that weird kid who always hangs out with you and your friends no matter how much he has nothing in common with the rest of you."

[3.0] "Ok gimmick but an underwhelming wrestler and seems like a crap dude overall who spends his current days milking a few bucks via garbage takes. Still, he did have at least a notable presence on TV and with the crowd, even if he was never a good wrestler."

[2.0] "Alright in WCW, but I remember him best for his run in TNA where he one a Knockouts Battle Royal and also lost to Scarlett. Also known for his... well... "infamous" tweets. He's a joke now, acts like he was something when he never really was."

[4.0] "Says a bunch of dumb shit now for rage bait engagement, but Disco Inferno is actually the only wrestler that my mother remembers from the six months or so she watched WCW with me back in the 90s. She loves goofy, fun characters more than any sort of serious wrestling, so in that respect he filled his role just fine."

[5.0] "Perfectly acceptable lower card somewhat comedic jobber in WCW who got over with the crowds anyway. Lost more than won but when he wasn't overly goofy, he could show some skills."

[2.0] "This guy was just a nothing as a wrestler compared to the roster he was on. He's like a store brand honky tonk man."

[0.0] "This guy is an anti draw as far as I'm concerned. He acts like he's some wrestling genius because he wrestled during the most recent wrestling boom period. but like bro you had a dancing gimmick and your ring work was horrible and to top it off your a comedy wrestler who's painfully unfunny. My favorite Disco Inferno moment is when Cody Rhodes destroyed this guy on twitter. "No one ever bought a ticket to see Disco Inferno" wiser words have never been said."

[6.0] "He was entertaining as hell. I mean, granted he wasn't the greatest overall worker. But he was an okay worker. He was more in the gimmick realm of this business. And sadly, that's what he's best known for."

[1.0] "Disco was awful. His gimmick was terrible and he was bad at playing it, completely devoid of any of the charm or charisma required to make this sort of character work. Unfortunately because he was with WCW for nearly the entire run of Nitro, any time you try to rewatch an old show you are likely to have the misfortune of enduring a Disco Inferno match. A low point of any episode. The only Disco match I have ever enjoyed was when Perry Saturn destroyed him."

[1.0] "Cliché gimmick, mediocre workrate, almost zero promo skills and just a horrendous vision for the business."

[5.0] "I really REALLY like disco music. I absolutely LOVE wrestling. You'd think you couldn't go wrong with the com-wait. LOL. even I don't think the two should mix. He was so-so. thankful he wasn't worse."

[2.0] "The perfect example of a talent that has a great gimmick, but the wrestler itself has so many negative qualities that the gimmick can't save them. Disco was sub-par in the ring at best, very annoying on commentary, and in the current day is more known as a toxic piece of shit with very ridiculous views on modern wrestling rather than his actual wrestling career. Definitely one of the most forgettable but at the same time, just plain bad workers in the wrestling business."

[0.0] "He was shite, boring and annoying. There really isn't much else to say about him. The fact he was anything more than a job guy astounds me to this day when you think about the talent WCW actually had."

[0.0] "Great Gimmick, Great Theme Song, Terrible Promo, Boring Wrestler. Glenn Gilberti adds nothing to his matches, I feel like if the Disco Inferno was given to literally anyone else in the WCW Powerplant they would've ran with the ball farther than Glenn ever did."

[0.0] "Disco has 30 years of experience in the business and still doesn't get it and did absolutely nothing to improve his wrestling skills. It was painful to watch the matches he was involved in since even good talent couldn't make him look good. I can't remember any good matches or spots he was involved in other than the boring chants he constantly recieved from the crowd during his 'matches'. Had a god awful gimmick and theme song. There really is not one single good thing to say about him."

[0.0] "Genuinely in my opinion the worst wrestler of all time. He's been so bad for so long and has continued to try to make wrestling a boys club instead of a safe space for everyone. The only good thing I can say is he had a good WCW theme"

[6.0] "I thought the Disco gimmick was pretty fun, actually. He could work pretty well in the ring, although he wouldn't blow the roof off the place. He was also pretty charismatic. In all, Disco was a pretty solid talent."

[4.0] "The amount of people who have tried to make the "Disco could actually work" argument is rough, because his showings say otherwise. He was competent in his best days and had a unique role in that, unlike virtually everyone else in WCW, Disco was willing to get pinned by anyone no matter how embarrassingly bad he looked and didn't really have any high points in WCW beyond some very short title runs, with the most part being used as pin fodder. His gimmick could only be described as a slow moving trainwreck that people could only laugh at, not along. Any guy who could be considered barely average in a booming cruiserweight/undercard with the likes of Benoit, Mysterio, Malenko, Saturn, Jericho, Guerrero working with them deserves all of the condemnation they deserve, because that's not a easy thing to do. He was lame then, and he still is."

[5.0] "Terrible gimmick, but a decent worker. Got some small pushes in the WCW, but even his title reigns aren't very memorable."

[0.0] "Certainly one of the worst I've seen. No matches of note or even of interest in his entire career, a terrible gimmick executed without any charm, any small push he got was intolerable, and the kind of promo that makes you change the channel."

[7.0] "He was fast in the ring. His moves were exciting. His gimmick was overrated and the music was annoying."

[3.0] "Disco Inferno is bad in the ring with a very annoying gimmick and an uninteresting character. Just a bad wrestler."

[4.0] "WCW's answer to the Honky Tonk Man. Too silly of a gimmick for me to get behind. I found him most entertaining when he was trying to fit in with the cruiserweight division. Recently had a mini run in TNA under his real name which was mostly terrible. Adequate in the ring, but nothing more than that."

[4.0] "Disco was a passable worker with an opening match gimmick, and possessing of absolutely no grasp of logic"

[7.0] "A slightly underrated guy, IMO. I'll take him over Fandango any day. Inexplicably joined the NWO at one point."

[5.0] "Much easier to like in his shoot interviews than he was as a wrestler. The guy obviously loves the business and gives a 100% effort to get over but at the end of the day he has a limited ceiling. I am impressed he over achieved career based on his talent so props."

[7.0] "I always liked Disco. Went above and beyond in playing his character, making a goofy comedy gimmick into a reliable and memorable midcard heel. A solid part of the WCW TV Title mix when that title was arguably at its height, with Booker T, Saturn, Rick Martel, Chris Benoit and Fit Finlay also vying for it. Later had a good tag run with Alex Wright. That he's still active on the indy scene is a testament both to his skill and the longevity of his character."

[7.0] "Much like Goldust, Disco Inferno was a silly, potentially career-ending gimmick that didn't look good on paper. BUT because of the great in-ring work and personal charisma of Glen Gilberti, the gimmick lasted a good 5 years longer than it should have. He turned a dead-end character into consistent comedy gold. One of the greats of WCW."
