[9.0] "Not a bodybuilder by any means but a magnificent heel that understands not just moves but when to do them for maximum effect. I've heard him be called "unsafe" and in 2 yrs of watching him in ASE and others, I've never seen it. Good technical wrestler in the old fashion way before technical wrestling became as spot-driven as high flying. In some ways, a 80s heel in the 21st century and that's a compliment."

Terrible physique, completely uncoordinated, visibly unsafe, no basic understanding of storytelling. There was an era where as long as you had the right friends, you could buzz your way through the indies but as those guys all got signed and Darius made the absolute least of his big matches, the buzz dies and you're left with your work and his isn't up to snuff."
[0.0] "Recently checked out his work is ASE, and sad to say that Darius carter is as unsafe as he as always been. He is probably most famously known for botching a move that almost ended the career or possibly the life of Pete Dunne, but it seems that no lesson has been learned from the incident. He is not strong enough to attempt the maneuvers that he attempts in matches, honestly there is an entire epidemic of independent wrestlers not thinking that the gym is an essential part of wrestling, but at least a lot of those guys are safe workers. The same can not be said about Darius Carter. For someone who constantly says wrestling is their passion and purpose, it does not translate into their work."
[8.0] "I am only really familiar with Darius Carter and his work as the top heel at the Paris is Bumping shows/as the primary tormentor of Billy Dixon, but let me say, as a heel performer Darius Carter is probably unmatched. I was at the Cassandro Cup II last night and after his crushing win over Billy Dixon three things happened: a child cried, an audience member ran into the ring and had to get taken outside by the refs, and one of Faye Jackson's friends had to get stopped from going into the ring to fight him and kept calling him a bitch. I've never seen a reaction like that, to anyone. People really fucking hate this dude. Like, people really really hate him. He's probably about as over as a heel as anyone could possibly be. His wrestling is whatever, it's fine I guess? I don't have a strong opinion about it, but like, one of the most hated men in the indies fr."

He has caused serious problems for PROGRESS and WWE for their upcoming shows which will cost them a lot of money no doubt. He needs to learn how to protect and care for his opponents in the ring."
[10.0] "I adore this man as a performer and a wrestler. He isn’t just in my favorites list of current independent workers, he is inching ever so closer up my list of favorite wrestlers period. I love just about everything surrounding the man. I love how well he pulls off the rich man gimmick to where you genuinely believe he is wealthier than you. I love how he gives off the air of a man who knows pro wrestling and is a student of the game. I love how well he can cut a promo in that classic Nick Bockwinkel style of being clear, concise, and uses big words to make him look smarter. I love his crowd working skills, getting the crowd to boo the hell out of him and cheer whoever he faces by default. I love his in-ring talent with a more minimalist approach, making the big moves bigger by comparison. His match with Fred Yehi at “March to Victory” is one I’d recommend that showcases all his talents. Darius Carter is a wrestler who could work in any area you put him in and I reserve that moniker for very few people. Simply put, Darius Carter is a man I will be furious about if he doesn’t become a star in the future. He has the skills to back it up. He just needs the chance."
[3.0] "Darius Carter is a mediocre wrestler. He definitely has a fleshed-out character, and he owns his gimmick (sometimes a bit too much), but he needs a lot of work technically. He's kind of flat to watch once the match begins and the microphone is dropped. He does show promise on his promo skills, and if he wants to, I believe he can improve, but as of right now, I am not impressed. Also, as far as interacting with the crowd, he uses the same base insults at every promotion, so fans who attend multiple shows get bored with him very quickly."
[7.0] "Let's start off with his great look. It's reminiscent of a young Diddy. His personality (that of an indie wrestler who personally believes and really wants YOU to believe that he's a millionaire) is unique. His mic skills could use just a little bit of improving, but I see great things in this guy's future, and that he will one day become a millionaire for real."
