[8.0] "Best of Young Lion in his class He gets it and will fit in perfectly as long as he is not bogged down by a cornball gimmick. Well I'm gonna get carried away and give this guy an 8."
[6.0] "Easily the best of his young lion class, but let's not get carried away here with these 8 and 9 ratings. His good and has a great baby face fire up sequence, could easily be a top guy in the future."
[8.0] "The best young lion from the class of middle of 2024 and after he is just a complete guy and is more than ready to jus go on to do awesome things please let him be and not screw him with a stupid character please dont screw this great athletes with stupid characters like Great O-Khan or Master Wato please they are cringe asf let them be themselves."
[8.0] "He's one of the most interesting Young Lions in this year's league. Fierce and convincing in the ring, his background in the Self-Defense Force gives him that tough, no-nonsense edge to punk out opponents. Now that he's aligned with the Unaffiliated unit alongside Takagi, Hiromu, and Yota, he's even more intriguing, and I'm curious to see how he develops in the years ahead. I'll revisit this rating in the future to see how far he's grown."
[8.0] "A fantastic young lion that is already slotted into a good position on the NJPW roster. I cannot wait to see what's in the future of Daiki Nagai."
"Though I haven't seen much of Nagai, what I have seen greatly impresses me. Despite his youth and relative inexperience, he already jumps out as a standout talent amongst the often indistinguishable crop of young boys year after year. The backstage promos he's been given show both a trust in his abilities and an evident charisma of cockiness about him that is equally reflected in his ring psychology. The way he uses his body and offense really rounds him out as a performer and gives him a clear no nonsense demeanor and ego to build off of that many rookies lack. Far too early to rate him, but definitely one to look out for."
"The young lion with the most raw intensity in New Japan's current crop of wrestlers in training. Nagai's facial expressions can sometimes come off as over the top, and he's still very green but his offense is incredibly crisp, and his strikes are some of the hardest hitting I've seen out of a young lion his size. Time will tell what kind of wrestler he'll wind up being, but I can see him as someone similar to Kota Ibushi or Koji Kanemoto, that as a tremendous technical striker and an agile junior heavyweight with a killer instinct."
[8.0] "Great fiery young lion who's had some very enjoyable show openers and tags where he's shown a lot of potential. His backstage promo where he was bleeding from the mouth made him truly stand out to me as a loose cannon and a very unique young wrestler. will follow his career closely"
