[3.0] "At time of writing PN News is rated a 7.44. Am I losing my mind? He is, on his very best day, below average at best. He can throw a pretty good dropkick considering his size, that's where the positive's stop. The rapping gimmick, a 6 year old child would do a better job at putting raps together. In-ring, he is a stinker, nothing of note or memorable whatsoever. I think him having a run in Germany, where this site is based, has a lot of people rating with rose-tinted nostalgia glasses."

[3.0] "Pardon me, this review is based on "PN News". Maybe I will watch more of his career, probably not. I hated his rapping. good grief he was abysmal. My first review of him here was a ZERO and I dropped my "No Baby, No Baby, No" line. I then edited it w/a higher score but was told I needed more words which, is backwards. ANYWAY! Yknow, as a singles wrestler (aside from I think two matches) I really still can NOT stand him. The gimmick is the drizzling sh1ts BUT! Where he does fine is in tag matches. For whatever reason, his babyface tag teams work no matter who is with him. Its interesting: singles? hard pass. Tag team? totally acceptable. But for real. THAT GIMMICK. He really is the worst rapper to ever mangle the genre. 3.25"

[5.0] "Is PN News/Cannonball Grizzly a better wrestler than his WCW run would suggest? Probably. Is he a good wrestler? No, not really. His CWA work may not feature the kind of stinkers he had in the US, but it never really rises beyond the level of "meh, this is fine.""

[4.0] "Just another big man. PN News was meh at best. He did no harm, but wasn't really impressive as well. I'm probably missing something from him in Germany, but his WCW run was average. He was showed in some horrible matches tho, like that scaffold flag match at Great American Bash '91 or the majority of squashes he did. He wasn't really botching that much, so I can give him a 3"

[2.0] "He's horrible. He was only great in Germany as Cannoball Grizzly. Even then he was not the best. He was fast for a guy his size and weight but was just boring to watch. Bland moves. PN News was a horrible gimmick. The gimmick was trash, terrible hairstyle and dances sucked."

[1.0] "How this goof has an almost-8 rating is beyond me. PN News was one of the absolute worst things about pre-nWo 90s WCW, and that's saying something. He was terrible in the ring and his rapper gimmick was absolutely laughable. He was such a bad rapper that he made Oscar from Men on a Mission look like Tupac Shakur by comparison."
