[4.0] "Brian Pillman Jr. / Lexis King is just... eh. That's the best way I can describe him. He doesn't do anything bad, but he also doesn't do anything good either. Being the son of a beloved wrestling legend as well goes against him a fair bit. Has been given opportunities in AEW & WWE and just hasn't really developed in a meaningful way from them."

[5.0] "He's an extension of his father in some respects as far as his in-ring work is concerned. Also, physically he's an extension of Brian Pillman Sr. He has yet to have a Memorable moment in his career because he's still new-ish to the business."

[4.0] "I appreciate the strong heelwork and he's not an overt botch-machine or someone who's completely lost like certain NXT wrestlers, but he just fails to stand out when the bell rings no matter how ridiculous his character or how garish his painted on beard."

[3.0] "I just feel like nothing has clicked for Lexis and he's never stood out. Whether it be in AEW or WWE, I can't ever remember being excited for something he's involved in. Still plenty of time to improve though."

[0.0] "Just a bad wrestler with a bad gimmick that has no charisma or look somehow being able to stink it up on TV every week for years, in multiple promotions. His father is the only reason he's relevant in the slightest. His name is all he has. They've tried to turn him face, failed. tried to turn him into a comedy guy, failed. No matter what he does it has not been even a little watchable or tolerable."

[4.0] "Medium talent. He's not actively bad, he just has no capability to stand out from the crowd, which is sad considering his pedigree. I think a lot of people in high places WANT him to be good, because of his name, but he's just not quite there."

[2.0] "Pillman Jr was bad wherever he was. I can't tell you a single thing about his AEW run so that sums that up. But his NXT run started with potential as the first vignette and promos I remember being good. But then he appeared on TV and yeah, it sucked. He isn't Charismatic, rarely cuts good promos and usually sucks in the ring. He's just bad"

[6.0] "I feel like he has gained a lot of confidence in his ability over the past year. Not as good in ring but reminds me of Jerichos early run in WWE. Needs a true rivalry that people will remember and can possibly carry over to main roster."

[3.0] "Poor Pillman jr. He hasn't a fraction of his father's charisma or wrestling ability. It's already difficult enough to be the son or daughter of a legendary performer. There's nothing he's doing or has done that leads me to believe he's going to go further than where he is right now."

[7.0] "My main problem with Lexis King was his in-ring work as his mic and promo work was guaranteed to get better with time. This most recent match with Moose really showed how much he has evolved since 2023. He is more quick and has more snap in his moveset."

[6.0] "He did improve a bit this year compared to last year, but he is still not good, he is pretty average in literally everything"

[6.0] "Brian Pillman Jr is a fine wrestler, but he never stands out to me. Whether it's his in ring abilities, his charisma or his promo skills they are all fine but standouts at none."

[10.0] "I think this guy is better than people give him credit for. He has storytelling ability, he has microphone ability. He has a good look, even if people find his presentation...cringe? His run where he's doing a lot of mat work similar to his Dad has been doing well for his matches more so."

[2.0] "Sorry, but this guy is the drizzling shits. He stunk in AEW and his run as "Lexis King" so far, is also stinky. He has negative charisma, just terrible promo skills, or lack thereof, and he's below mediocre in the ring. I mean, he was in a program with MJF and still couldn't make anything work. Sure, he may be young, even though he's the same age as WIll Ospreay, but I don't think there's anything WWE can do to make this dude interesting."

[8.0] "I've seen Brian Pillman Jr's work before his time in AEW in places like MLW and Northeast Wrestling and Warrior Wrestling. He is great in the ring and has been a great promo and character worker for quite a while, but his time in AEW was full of...well nothing. The most he did was a very minor feud with MJF which was solely because of MJF's gimmick being low hanging fruit and who BPJ's father happened to be. Aside from that, Pillman leaving AEW to go to NXT has done wonders for him and his career. He has put on some great matches and stays a very important character on nearly every week of television. I do hope that we get to see him thrive and succeed in his new place of employment."

[7.0] "Brian Pillman Jr. had a decent run in indies and did nothing in AEW, now as Lexis King in WWE NXT hopefully give him his moment to bright, he has potential vut comparasions with his father don't do him any favor."

[3.0] "He is such a nothing burger of a performer. Like he isnt bad but i dont find him interesting in any way. He isnt particularly charismatic or fun, forgettable moves, and can never seem to keep my focus. I think overall hes an average wrestler that would benefit from something to do. I really dont see him ever getting over on the path hes on."

[6.0] "Lexis King is a solid wrestler. I don't like the name. I rather he just be a Jr. like he was before NXT. His heel work is solid and he's solid everywhere but not outstanding. I don't think he'll be a main eventer but I think he can be a decent midcard heel."

[7.0] "I think Brian Pillman Jr. doing solid work in NXT. He might not have the wowing in - ring work, but his promo skills, and character work have improve in my opinion Lexis King is quite eneterianing on NXT. I do see him being a Mid - Card Act on the Main Roster maybe win one or two titles during his tenure. But I won't be shocked if he's alway garnering crowd heat."

[5.0] "Is he good in the ring? Not really. Is he good on the mic? Depends. Is he entertaining? Hell yeah. He found his role in NXT. I don't know what his ceiling is but he's entertaining enough to stick around."

[7.0] "He has improved a lot on his Promos & in ring & showing character development. Now if Only Shawn can book him better because he's been ready for a focused push."

[5.0] "he got the tools in terms of legacy, looks, and promo for succeeding at some level but damn is his matches dragging him down so much. Even someone like LA Knight and Mr Anderson, or even the Pope got something cool to show in a match so that it's not completely nothing. Bro really just need one cool move."

[5.0] "[4.9] The definition of mid. It may sound harsh, but quite literally all BPJ/Lexis King has going for him is his last name. He's below average to mediocre in the ring, is an absolute charisma vacuum, and doesn't stand out from the pack in any way aside from the facial hair. He's been at it for six years, but you could show me a clip of any of his recent matches and say it was from his rookie year, and I'd believe you. He is just simply not good, not bad, just mediocre, a man who's sole lifeline throughout his entire career has been that he is the son of one of the most complete wrestlers the business has ever seen."

[3.0] "Let's be real, if this dude had anyone else for a dad he'd be lucky to be midcarding in a bingo hall. He's been wrestling for major promotions almost his entire career but watching him in any match you'd think it's still first month. Mediocre in the ring, worse on the mic, generic look except the meticulously groomed facial hair. I'm torn between giving him a 3 and a 4 but I'm gonna go with 3 because I really don't see him improving much more."

[5.0] "I cannot tell if NXT is underutilizing this performer or if the performer is not capable at the scale they wished him to be. He debuted on NXT with a very interesting character promo and never elaborated further meaning the character lacks the ground and base motivation to really get an audience behind him. Since then he has wrestled in okay midcard feuds with no real drive or meaning. I think he has shown flashes of something greater but until then, Lexis is resting in mediocrity."

[1.0] "His AEW run always felt completely unearned and that he was only there because of his name. Never saw a match that remotely interested me and it seems like his only moment of relevance was when he let MJF insult his dark past which is just not very interesting wrestling content. I have seen about 20 seconds of Lexis King because I just cannot be bothered to watch him."

[3.0] "WWE seems to have made the same mistake with other people who have a famous name changed to something else. They changed his gimmick, name, and character and now pretty much use him as fodder for the bigger stars in NXT, even though BPJ was a former Rookie of the Year. As Lexis King, he's boring, uninteresting, and just Random Guy A in NXT. He has all the tools, charisma, and skill to be a force, but he's been reduced to a shell of the guy he once was in other places like AEW, as he even was fun in AEW, but now he just has nothing going for him."

[2.0] "he is now even worse than he was in all elite wrestling, at last in all elite wrestling he had Griff Garrison (who was the better half of the Varsity Blondes) and Julia Hart (the best of that mediocre trio). They have tried to sell that dude as an interesting character but he has no rizz nor charisma"

[3.0] "When I first saw him on NXT I was like "Wow that looks like Brian Pillman Jr." It turns out it is. Astonishing how after changing his name there is pretty much nothing notable about him. I mean part of me wants to go easy on him but he is now 30 and has done next to nothing, also his gimmick right now is horrible."

[2.0] "6 years of experience and this boy has hardly learned anything. He has no charisma, he does not fit as the good guy of the show, nor as the villain of the show, he is more like a filler in team fights or a half-built card. Unfortunately the opportunities he has had in the ring have not flourished and to be honest I don't think they will."

[3.0] "If you looked up the word "mid" in the dictionary, right next to it would be a picture of this absolute charisma vacuum known as Lexis King fka Brian Pillman Jr. This man is proof that talent isn't a genetic trait as he has none of the talent that his father Brian Pillman had."

[2.0] "Ok hes the son of one of my favorite wrestlers ever. But I cant lie Lexis just isnt good. Hes not even mediocre. The talent just is not there & at his age, I dont think hell ever develop much more. Hes not a good worker. He cant cut even a decent promo. He looks like a jobber from the 1980s. Shawn Michaels & the the WWE/NXT fans can try to sugarcoat it all they want, but he will never be anything special. Its a shame for him that talent isnt hereditary."

[4.0] "Extremely strong mullet and solid enough look. Average to below average wrestler. Lacking charisma. Probably a decent guy since his mullet is so awesome but mullet aside he lacks many of the qualities that make a wrestler great"

[4.0] "If there was such thing as "AURALESS" person, Pillman Jr. would be that guy. The guy has absolutely no aura or charisma at all. He is decent in ring, not the worst thing ever, but nothing special really, but as a character he has a lot of faults and lack a lot of things."

"Haven't seen any of his work outside of NXT and I probably never will, and since his run with the WWE is still in its infancy, I wont rate him just yet. But so far BPJ's run as Lexis King has been working. He's a slimy bastard that makes your skin crawl and you wouldn't leave a drink around, and is able to draw the ire of anyone he's in the presence of. Hearing him talk and sometimes even looking at his facial hair is enough to make you angry or cringe to the point of laughter, and so far it seems like it's all intentional based off his social media interactions. A heel that you REALLY aren't supposed to like. One day I hope his chair stops working midway through his entrance and he has to stumble his way through the rest of it."

[3.0] "Yeah, unfortunately he sucks. Don't get me wrong, I don't have nothing against him personally, I think he seems like a nice dude, but in the ring, he is incredibly mediocre. He don't quite get the hype of his name. I hope that now in WWE he may improve and I can come back here and change this rating, but right now this is the mindset."

[4.0] "He's been working on his overall presentation, his gear, and his hair is amazing. That's about the highest praise that I can give him ATM. He feels like someone still searching for their wrestling identity, but unless he finds it out on the indies, his time in any sort of televised capacity has already peaked."

[5.0] "Not a bad wrestler at all, but not somebody who I'd go out of my way to see. I like his passion in delivering promos, though. He's got the charisma, but his in-ring ability lags behind a bit."

[4.0] "He feels someone who is a left-over from 2019 AEW, when they hiring everyone they could just to fill out the roster. He doesn't stand out, and he is too ground-based for his size."

[3.0] "I'm not too fond of Pillman Jr. He's not that good and he has trouble connecting with the audience. I don't pay much attention when the Varsity Blondes are on my television screen either."

[4.0] ""Pillman is competent but unexceptional in the ring, but he's still young enough to progress. He's inherited some of his father's charm, but as a character, he comes off as a bit of a jerk. When he was in AEW, he was intended to be an arrogant, entitled heel, and it succeeded for a while, but once he and the Hart Foundation changed face, he just kind of continued to come off as an insufferable douche.""

[3.0] "Pillman Jr. really REALLY sucks man. Outside of his mullet game, there is not a single redeeming quality about his in-ring style or his character. If it wasn't for nepotism he'd Enjoy The Projects."

[5.0] "I don't see the potential in him that others seem to notice. Should stay in the tag division because I don't see him as a singles star. He doesn't have enough charisma and character to do so. His in-ring style is also pretty unspectacular."

[7.0] "I have mixed feelings on Brian Pillman Jr. Let me explain. On one hand, he has quite literally the best look of anyone in the business right now. His mullet is iconic, he has a look reminiscent of his father, his look is his main attraction. He's not that bad on the mic and shows signs of improvement. His charisma and connection to the crowd is there and is improving as well. But none of that matter if you don't have the most important aspect in pro wrestling together, the WRESTLING. Pillman is so confused when it comes to this and it's not even funny. On one hand he says he wants to pay tribute to his father in the ring, on the other he doesn't. On one hand he says he wants to be able to do high-flying moves on the level of Ricochet and Ospreay, on the other hand he says Omega is his idol in the ring or whatever. It doesn't make sense and he needs to figure himself out as an in-ring performer or that aura he has built up will dissipate and we will be left with what should have been (a main eventer), not what will happen if this continues. Pull it together Pillman, show us the real you, you can be a future main eventer, I can see it."

[3.0] "Never saw something in him that could make me believe he could be something more than decent/average at best. Despite having the bigger name he's the third wheel of the Varsity blondes, that says a lot."

[3.0] "Can't cut an above average promo. His embarrassing MJF match where he couldn't even throw a decent punch was a top ten singles in his career & is a general narcissistic dweeb on social media. He just keeps failing upwards"

[4.0] "BPJ isn't very good this isn't a critique on him as a person but as a performer... he's just not good I've only seen his mlw matches I don't really care for aew so I'm not commenting on it but from what I've heard and seen he hasn't gotten any better. Juniors best match (for my money) came against Alexander Hammerstone for the national title on fusion 60 where he played a great underdog babyface against the opposing Hammerstone who is both taller and heavier than him the match was basic but was actually kind of good it really got my hopes up for future outings, he had a good tjp match at mlw 88 during the opera cup first round tjp made him look great during this however this is also where juniors biggest adversary comes into play he can't have consistent matches with better performers to actually get any better a wwe ish house show schedule or a major territory house show circuit could really benefit him. Skipping far ahead he had a fine match with Myron Reed at mlw fusion 110 for the middleweight title reed is not only more athletic and younger but 10x better considering he only started a little over a year earlier than him (again could benefit from some more matches but I digress) his worst match to date not only fucking sucked but actively both irritated and insulted me was his terrible singles match against Timothy Thatcher in the opera cup on mlw fusion 92 this is one of the worst matches ive ever seen and it's not even close to be fair for as good as Thatcher is he wasn't much better this match shows juniors achilles heels junior attempts to do shit way above his pay grade Thatcher must've been on autopilot cause he doesn't even attempt to reign him in and it makes for this all around contemptible piss poor showing. I think junior has potential he has an interesting look he has lineage and a strange charisma but he when it comes to delivering the goods he doesn't have it he always looks awkward and unsure in the ring and while no one is perfect i think him going back to training for a year or two would definitely be a big help if somehow (god forbid) pillman junior ever sees this slow down take it easy stop trying to be kenny omega and start being brian zachery pillman"

[6.0] "Brian Pillman Jr is a man with tons of great Potential and power. I thought he was awful in MLW but he has greatly improved since then after seeing him perform in AEW. He throws strike like his Father, and sells and bumps great. Excited to see where he goes in AEW, he has a very bright future."

[5.0] "He's still very new but is a good tag team wrestler all around. Nothing too fancy but he has never embarrassed himself, he seems to have a good work ethics, obviously loves the sport etc. As a singles wrestler he still seems to have work to do but we'll see. Killer mullet by the way."

[7.0] "Failson? He's 27, he can work alright, promo could use some work, but as I said. 27. Most wrestlers don't reach there peaks from anywhere between 34 to the lower parts of the 40s, Anything can be possible, don't count Pillman Jr out. As it stands he's currently, as I said, decent in ring, can cut an alright promo but could be way better, and he does have huge shoes to fill, so we'll have to see how he plays out. Solid 7 for now."
