[9.0] "Brutal Bob had his moments on the east independent wrestling scenes which inspired the modern grizzly look. His biggest contribution was a massive fail in breaking in Mike Bennett who remains today the most uninteresting and uninspired character in history. As he was not his fault Mike became nothing, Bob is a coach who has good sportsman intellect. Rhode Island and the Boston scene belongs to him as he captured the GMW championship and the New England tag team championships multiple times. His battles with Maverick Wild in his prime took the audiences to the streets screaming with excitement and his in annul rivalry with Vinny Marsegila peaked in the Killer Kowalski cup back in 2010. Grizzly but tougher than the bum bouncer."

[6.0] "An independent mainstay for over two decades with just a handful of WWE enhancement appearances to his name, Brutal Bob was a late bloomer in getting a prominent national role, but finally did so in 2010, when he joined ROH as manager of his trainee Mike Bennett, portraying himself as an old-school, Mickey Goldmill-like trainer. After he and Bennett split he had a respectable face run as half of Brutal Burgers with Cheeseburger, then turned heel and feuded with his former partner. While the lower ranks of the card seem where he's destined to stay as an active competitor, it's not a bad place for him - he does well in portraying a grizzled veteran that can serve as a stepping stone for other wrestlers on the way up. Outside the ring, he'll also remain valuable to wrestling as a trainer, having already had his hand in training a number of notable students, including Bennett, Matt Taven, Taeler Hendrix and Pat Buck."

[9.0] "I love watching Brutal Bob Evans in ROH today! Not only is he fantastic at managing Mike Bennett who is also alongside Maria Kanellis, but after watching him wrestle a few times, it honestly makes me wonder why he never made it big in professional wrestling until now and I feel bad for him. I love his look, I love his abilities as a manager and as a wrestler! He's almost 40 years old now and judging from what I've seen from Brutal Bob over the past year that I've watched Ring Of Honor, he definitely would've had something to offer if he had been given a chance by the big time wrestling companies!"
